A team of “high-powered NASA scientists” has just stumbled upon a very inconvenient truth, and no, I don’t mean that they’ve found new evidence to support the Al Gore fear porn flick, but instead, they’ve discovered that 80% of “global warming” in the last ten years has not been caused by man’s use of natural renewable resources like gas and oil, but “draconian fuel shipping regulations” ostensibly “designed to help prevent global warming.”
[snip] NASA scientists that suggest most of the recent global temperature increases are due to the introduction of draconian fuel shipping regulations designed to help prevent global warming.

By making hydrocarbon fuels expensive and more difficult to procure the Greens are forcing the lower 99% of the world population to turn to more primitive means - cutting down trees and cow dung. But as long as they can attend well fed and wined conferences at Davos, Manhattan who cares?

Sort of related. I lived in Silicon Valley for about 36 years. (Recently moved to Colorado.) When I moved there, there were two weeks a year where you needed your A/C, if you had one.
That was before Big Tech moved in. They cut down entire orchards and plowed them under. Then they erected huge glass and steel buildings to house their (imported) workers, and the cities widened their streets, chopping down more trees and paving wider streets with concrete and asphalt. I'm talking about Amazon, Apple, Facebook (Meta), Google, etc.
Now you turn your A/C on around Memorial Day, and it's needed until well after Labor Day.
As a counter point, St. Louis is shrinking, and as it shrinks, its average temperature is declining.
So, it's not CO2, it's glass and steel buildings and streets and highways that cause global warming!

Don't get fooled. They are only saying a short temporary spike in warming was caused by some removal of something or 'rother. It's not a doubt about long term global warming. So it's pointless.

Wait. You mean to tell me that the policies enacted by the world's governments was once again WRONG! Guess nobody saw that one a coming. As time passes, one notices that every edit issued by our goobernment, every policy and every Nanny State regulation and law is actually worse and harms us. And we still allow the totally wrong goobernment 'experts' (Fauci, the Fed reserve, NASA, CDC...) to make polices, regulations and laws that we all know are not only wrong, but deadly.

NASA scientists?
Skylab came down, in the seventies, 5 years sooner than expected because “solar activity” (normal speak-the sun got hotter) expanded the atmosphere.
How do people this stupid, achieve these positions?

Be skeptical of this article until we hear what the "low powered NASA scientists" have to say.

Despite this study shooting holes in the global warming cabal's screed, I'm still not sold on the idea mankind can affect the climate much at all. The current aberrations in climate seem more likely to have been caused by the eruption of Hunga Tonga below the surface of the South Pacific and the massive amount of water vapor injected into the atmosphere.
I think we'll see what's what in the next 2-4 years when the Hunga Tonga water vapor in the atmosphere dissipates, and possibly affects from a "quiet" sun (less incoming solar radiation) begin to take hold. Mind you, I'm not claiming to know how this will hash out, but as we have all seen from the last several decades of prognostications, no one knows which way the climate will turn for sure.

C'mon people. Ya gotta break some eggs. It is vital that we destroy the Earth in order to save it. We have to think ahead, don't you know?

As Gomer would have said, "SURPRISE! SURPISE! SURPRISE!" Uh, no, not really. The greenie nuts sound like an organization that Fauci should hook up with.

Draconian fuel shipping regulations? What does that mean? The article does not explain it. Are they blaming climate change on trains and trucks now? If so, the greenies will have a new target. Eventually they will outlaw all motorized transportation.

Brace yourselves for not being able to afford a home air conditioner due to new EPA regulations, created by the same sort of destructive idiot bureaucrats which this article writes about.
I've spent the morning getting an education in the coming new reality in home AC.
In about a year, new EPA regs will kick in, and AC units will double in cost and decrease in reliability. Currently you can get a new home AC unit installed for $3,000 to $9,000 in my area. An AC tech just told me today that the new units after next year's new requirements, will double in cost, and be less reliable due to massive increase in complexity of systems to deal with the fact that the next generation refrigerants will be flammable.
And...my 15 year old unit has failed the fan motor on the outside unit. 20 years ago, I had the same exact failure on a fan motor on the outside unit on an older home. I was able purchase the fan motor for $60 and install it myself back then. Easy peasy. The fan motor on this unit, because of EPA regs requiring "high efficiency" is a very complex variable speed motor....which costs $3000 installed and is on back order until late July.
A 'universal replacement' will cost about $1300 installed....just a FAN MOTOR, the rest of the AC is fine, compressor is fine, no freon leaks, inside unit is fine.... but 15 years old.
So....do I put $1300 into a unit that is on the back side of the lifetime curve (they last about 12 to 15 years, generally) or buy a new unit for $3K to $9K NOW to beat the "new improved" $6K to $18K units which will be all that is available in 2 years?
The choice is whether to limp my old unit in with a repair equal to 25-30% of new unit cost to get a chance at two or three more years (could be only a month, too) or buy a new unit now at half the cost of what the new EPA mandated double cost units will be in a couple of year?
If someone fired all the EPA people and rescinded all EPA regulations in the last 30 years, the country would be FAR, FAR better off.
They aim to make home AC not something that ordinary people can afford.

First, there is no real reason to be NET ZERO, it's really an ego thing considering if you achieved 90-95% carbon free energy it would be an amazing accomplishment.
Plus, the cost of that 5-10% to achieve ZERO is significantly more money than getting to 90-95%.
Second, when you look at what they talk about and show as visuals, it's smoke stacks emitting exhaust.
This is pollution and what they are truly looking to remove but use this scare tactic of global warming and rising sea levels because people weren't taking it serious enough in their minds.
Third, why is it nearly a Western economy issue?
Do you see China, India, Russia, Saudi Arabia, etc. as concerned as the Western countries?
Are they simply too stupid to know or do they know what we aren't being told?
Fourth, if you stop needing oil you don't have to worry about what's happening in the Middle East.
But, you are also more dependent on a system (electricity) that can be easier to manipulate in the future.
After all, the government can turn it on or off. Allow it to be for some and not for others, if they wanted, right?

It's very easy to prove that warming of the earth is MOST influenced by cloud formation AND that the cloud formation is caused by cosmic rays, a natural phenomena. The more cosmic rays, the more clouds. The level of cosmic rays is influenced by solar activity. More solar activity, less cosmic rays, less clouds, more warming. Less solar activity, more cosmic rays, more clouds, less warming. Plus, the amount of cosmic rays is influenced by our position in our galaxy. Certain positions allow more cosmic rays, other positions, less. There is absolutely nothing we can do to change these influencers. They are cosmic phenomena.
By contrast, CO2 is a weak influencer of warming. Further, the higher the concentration of CO2 the LESS the impact. With the amount of CO2 at 400 PPM, we have already reached a maximum warming effect. Going from 400 PPM to 800 PPM will have very little additional effect.
The Alarmists reject all this proved science because these are all natural effects and beyond our control. They desperately NEED a CO2 problem to attack Capitalism and the US. A CO2 problem lets them claim the authority to fix "the crisis".
If there is a warming crisis, it is beyond our control. We cannot prevent it. Our best plan is to adapt to any changes as necessary. If nothing bad happens, we don't have to do anything. Hint: We probably don't have to do anything.
