Trump is on his own, as clever Congress critters and an occasional senator write legalistic letters and then puff themselves up on TV saying how tough they are being on Biden and company. Ya know, had a bunch of friends in for dinner last night and we were discussing just this thing. And I said, I love Jim Jordan but he is turning into Trey Gowdy. A BIG disappointment. Y'all remember how we thought Trey Gowdy would finally get some justice, get something done when he became Chair of the Oversight Committee. We always say this, but imagine if this was Biden, an actual criminal, being treated this way. #1, you may be frustrated with Gowdy, but if it had not been for him uncovering Hillary's non-government, illegal, and op-sec busting email and bathroom computer server, we would have had Hillary for president instead of Donald Trump. I will Gowdy his flowers. Most of the elected officials are just too old to have enough energy to lead the huge effort that would be required. And then there is fact that they don't have moral courage, even if they had the energy.

We only control the House and barely that. We are the minority party in the Senate and Maria seems to have forgotten that we don't have a GOP President so we have ZERO control of the entire executive bureaucracy. That means we are limited to passing House bills to nowhere and investigations with no possibility of anything happening no matter what is found. This is why electing Trump MUST be accompanied by also controlling the House AND the Senate.

IMHO, this is the reason: the Repubcapons want PDJT gone, almost as much as the Commiecrats do.
