Panama’s New President Vows to Shut

In a surprise victory with potential implications for the Biden administration, José Mulino was elected president of Panama May 5 on a platform that included closing the Darién Gap to migrants on their way to the U.S. southern border. During a May 6 interview with a Colombian radio program, the populist president-elect reiterated his vow to repatriate migrants coming into Panama while shutting down what has become a major route for illegal migration. “When repatriation begins here, those who try to arrive will think twice because they will not have an easy destination because they will be transferred to their countries of origin,” Mr. Mulino said.

Well, good luck to Mulino with that. The governments of both the USA and China run neighboring semi-permanent to permanent large facilities / encampments for helping illegal alien invaders through the Gap on their journey to the USA. (See Michael Yon videos if you don't believe me.) I could see him maybe bucking one or the other governments, but not both at the same time.

Folks, this is a hell of a lot bigger than you may realize. Recall who is being shuttled through the Darien Gap, by whom, and why. Military-aged men from the middle east and from China are being sent here. Recall Tucker Carlson's February 4th interview of Bret Weinstein as posted here by LDotter, FormerDem. The Central American countries have not been enforcing their immigration laws. Mexico is the final country on the path to the USA and the most egregious violator. If the US government was serious about border control they would impose serious sanctions on Mexico. Congress does nothing.

Someone with very deep pockets has been funding the building of a huge, modern concrete bridge across one of the more difficult to cross rivers in this area. There is NO REASON at all except to facilitate illegals crossing. I hope that this partially built bridge can be blown up now.

I’m sitting in a History classroom, looking at the world map. All the countries are clearly labeled and colored. Africa is a mosaic compared to the other continent. It looks real clear to me that each of these nations have clear, marked borders to keep themselves sovereign. It’s for their survival. Looking at the U.S., it is incredible that our own southern border is not protected as it should be. No borders - No nation

Chances are this new Panamanian President will find out soon that Biden and the leftist and progressive US Democrats don’t like it one bit with him messing with their potential (newcomer) supporters and voters making their way across Panama on their way to unlawfully gain entry to the USA by way of Biden’s”open borders” scheme.

Regarding # 8 comment about the only purpose for a massive concrete bridge being constructed in the Darien being to further facilitate illegal immigration, I saw a comment somewhere on the possible facilitation of Chinese tanks on a pathway to the United States.

Geomagnetic Storm (Solar Flare) Update

There was much said about the potential of “space weather” disruption prior to a series of solar flare outbursts or “Coronal Mass Ejection” (CME) events this weekend. However, despite some of the more alarming predictions, the geomagnetic issues appear to be minimal. The aurora, essentially widespread ‘Northern Lights’ was visible last night over northern part of the Northern Hemisphere. Canadians, Americans and Europeans were able to see a rare event. Typically, the Northern Lights are centered closer to the geomagnetic poles; however, with the sun storm interacting with the atmosphere the light display is visible further south Friday and Saturday night.

On May 7, Florida Judge Aileen Cannon postponed former President Donald Trump’s classified documents trial after explosive information dropped late Friday afternoon. Several new pieces of evidence indicate it’s even possible federal employees planted classified documents to frame Trump. Even if what happened isn’t that nefarious — although exactly that scenario has already been deployed against Trump several times — not only could the case be thrown out of court, but some federal lawyers may have risked their licenses for mishandling evidence. As time goes on, the lawfare cases are looking increasingly like coverups of government attempts to imprison Democrats’ top political opponent by framing him

As the lawfare crusade continues, former President Donald Trump is racking up significant victories in court. Down in Florida, President Trump secured an indefinite delay in his criminal case involving alleged mishandling of classified documents. This delay was ordered following revelations that Special Counsel Jack Smith and prosecutors mishandled and misrepresented evidence, which is uniquely ironic given the subject matter of the underlying case. In Georgia, where another criminal case is pending, the Georgia Court of Appeals agreed to hear President Trump’s attempt to remove Democrat District Attorney Fani Willis from the case. The Georgia Court of Appeals is set to consider and decide this issue in the coming weeks.
