A paralegal from Manhattan Attorney General Alvin Bragg’s office testified on Friday during former President Donald Trump’s “hush money” trial that some phone call records between Michael Cohen and Stephanie Clifford’s (a.k.a. Stormy Daniels) lawyer were deleted, raising questions about evidentiary integrity. (snip Trump attorney Emil Bove asked paralegal Jaden Jarmel-Schneider in court on May 10 about roughly three pages worth of records that the attorney claimed Mr. Bragg’s office had deleted. Mr. Jarmel-Schneider confirmed some deletions. He acknowledged that some phone call records from 2018 between Mr. Cohen and Keith Davidson (Ms. Clifford’s lawyer) had been deleted, along with

There was much said about the potential of “space weather” disruption prior to a series of solar flare outbursts or “Coronal Mass Ejection” (CME) events this weekend. However, despite some of the more alarming predictions, the geomagnetic issues appear to be minimal. The aurora, essentially widespread ‘Northern Lights’ was visible last night over northern part of the Northern Hemisphere. Canadians, Americans and Europeans were able to see a rare event. Typically, the Northern Lights are centered closer to the geomagnetic poles; however, with the sun storm interacting with the atmosphere the light display is visible further south Friday and Saturday night.

A U.S. congressional committee on China has asked leading research university Georgia Institute of Technology to detail its collaboration with a Chinese university facing U.S. government restrictions due to its alleged ties to the country's military. Georgia Tech partnered with China's northeastern Tianjin University on cutting edge technologies despite its documented ties to the People's Liberation Army (PLA), John Moolenaar, the new Republican chairman of the House of Representatives' select committee on China, wrote in a letter on Thursday to the U.S. school's president Angel Cabrera. But the Georgia Tech scientist who led the project defended the research, saying all the results were available to the public,

I long ago stopped trying to keep up with daily activity on the Ukraine front of the Neocon War on the World. Lacking the expertise or in depth knowledge of events on the ground, I have no way of assessing any big picture significance that may emerge from such granular data on a daily basis. However, there’s a significant buzz over Russian activity in the Kharkov direction (that’s the Russian spelling, it’s Kharkiv in Ukrainian). Emerging reports suggest that this could be the beginning of something major, as the muddy spring season draws toward its end. My idea on how to understand current operations in Ukraine rests on the dichotomy

When I am in England, I rarely go to the cinema, largely because the taste of the English public is so low. Recently, however, I saw Macbeth, a feature film of a live theatrical performance. Did Federal Agencies Plant Classified

On May 7, Florida Judge Aileen Cannon postponed former President Donald Trump’s classified documents trial after explosive information dropped late Friday afternoon. Several new pieces of evidence indicate it’s even possible federal employees planted classified documents to frame Trump. Even if what happened isn’t that nefarious — although exactly that scenario has already been deployed against Trump several times — not only could the case be thrown out of court, but some federal lawyers may have risked their licenses for mishandling evidence. As time goes on, the lawfare cases are looking increasingly like coverups of government attempts to imprison Democrats’ top political opponent by framing him

Are you saying all the way up through full term a woman has a right to have an abortion?” Steele asked.

There’s a hidden dimension to the Chinese EV angle that makes this claim a little dubious, I will explain after the topline big story. As the lawfare crusade continues, former President Donald Trump is racking up significant victories in court. Down in Florida, President Trump secured an indefinite delay in his criminal case involving alleged mishandling of classified documents. This delay was ordered following revelations that Special Counsel Jack Smith and prosecutors mishandled and misrepresented evidence, which is uniquely ironic given the subject matter of the underlying case. In Georgia, where another criminal case is pending, the Georgia Court of Appeals agreed to hear President Trump’s attempt to remove Democrat District Attorney Fani Willis from the case. The Georgia Court of Appeals is set to consider and decide this issue in the coming weeks.

The Democrats intend to investigate former President Donald Trump to death, and they aren’t waiting for him to win the White House again to do it. The latest leftie to threaten an investigation into the GOP’s presumptive nominee is Rhode Island Democrat Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, who said it is “highly likely” the Senate Budget Committee, for which he serves as chair, will be looking into comments Trump reportedly made to oil executives at a Mar-a-Lago meeting last month. Whitehouse is already digging into Big Oil, Newsweek reports, and said it’s a “natural extension of the investigation already underway.” In what smacks of the classic “wrap-up smear”

The final design for the flag was modified from a submission by Andrew Prekker. "The new flag and seal reflect all Minnesotans and showcase the features of our state that we can all recognize – the

Here's something that the Washington Post's Allyson Chiu may not know: When the temps outside drop to -32 (good American Fahrenheit, not commie Celsius), even with an oil burner, baseboard electric heater, and the wood stove going, the house gets chilly. So, despite Ms. Chiu's recommendations, I'm not taking a cold shower to save the planet - not now, not in the middle of winter, not anytime. But that isn't the only thing she thinks we should do to reduce hot water usage. Washing machines guzzle an average of 25 gallons of hot water per use, according to the Energy Department — the most compared to other common household activities.

I always thought “ironclad” meant binding, but to President Biden it apparently means a pledge that’s good until it becomes politically inconvenient to stick to it. On at least two occasions he asserted his (and our) commitment to Israel’s defense was “ironclad”: “On July 18, 2023, seated beside Mr. Herzog. “And as I affirmed to Prime Minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu yesterday, America’s commitment to Israel is firm. And it is ironclad.” He reiterated this pledge last month: "As I told Prime Minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu, our commitment to Israel's security against these threats from Iran and its proxies is ironclad - let me say it again, ironclad," Mr. Biden said.
