Kejriwal is small potatoes. He can hardly be called Modi’s rival. He is a corrupt little politician on the take. He has been tracked by ED (Enforcement Directorate) fr years. They have loads of stuff on him. Why arrest him just as he was getting ready to campaign? Well..coincidence perhaps!

The words campaign and arrest are the only similarity. The context is completely different. One is doing a great disservice to trump by comparing him to the Kejariwal situation

After President Biden gave his ultimatum of withholding offensive weapons to the Jewish state if Israel were to launch an invasion of Rafah, rocket attacks rained down on Israel on Friday from Rafah, with more rockets fired on Saturday. Hamas launched rockets from Rafah at the southern Israeli city of Beersheva on Friday for the first time since December, as Iranian proxy Hezbollah sent a barrage of rockets into the northern Israel city of Kiryat Shmona, causing a massive fire. Within the Gaza Strip on Friday, four Israeli soldiers were killed. "When administration officials attacked or berated Israel publicly previously during the war, Hamas hardened its demands

Many Republicans will be shocked to learn that Election Day 2024 happens long before Nov. 5. In fact, it hurts the Republican cause – and the elections of President Donald Trump and House and Senate Republicans – to focus narrowly on Nov. 5. The first election dates are Sept. 16 in Pennsylvania and then Sept. 20 in Minnesota and South Dakota. The next election days are Sept. 23 in Mississippi, and Sept. 24 in Missouri. There are 43 other states and the District of Columbia that follow with their early voting dates. Only Alabama and New Hampshire do not have early voting.

It is a presidential election year and a leading candidate for president of the United States, who also happens to be a former president of the United States, is currently a criminal defendant chained to a dingy courtroom four days of the week -- time that he should be spending interacting with voters out on the campaign trail. That's terrible. But it's only the beginning. The daughter of the presiding judge is a professional political operative for the presidential candidate's opposition party, and the candidate himself is subject to an over-inclusive and unconstitutional gag order. The George Soros-funded district attorney, who campaigned on a platform of prosecuting that candidate

Nearly two years after Nina Jankowicz briefly led the Disinformation Governance Board at the Department of Homeland Security, she’s launched an organization demanding transparency and the public release of documents about the public debate on disinformation. An interesting move, likely without true transparency in mind. My organization, Americans for Prosperity Foundation, has spent the same two years fighting DHS for documents on the federal board Jankowicz managed. We’re filing a second lawsuit under the Freedom of Information Act to fight continued government stonewalling of our requests. Thus far, DHS has refused to provide unredacted versions of documents that outline its purported authorities to regulate disinformation.

For Donald Trump haters, the Stormy Daniels trial is a fantasy come true. An orgasmic treat of Donald in his boxers, being spanked on the bottom by a porn actress. The former president trapped in court like a caged lion, forced to listen to all the humiliating detail instead of being out on the campaign trail entertaining the orcs. Their matinee-idol judge, Juan Merchan, with his fetching gray cowlick, threatening to throw Trump in jail if he doesn’t stop shaking his head. Swoon. A Republican senator is renewing the call to impeach President Biden following reports of aid to Israel being delayed during its war with the terrorist organization Hamas. "The House has no choice but to impeach Biden based on the Trump-Ukraine precedent of withholding foreign aid to help with reelection. Only with Biden, it’s true," Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., wrote on X on Thursday. A recently passed $95 billion supplemental foreign aid package included roughly $26 billion for both Israel and humanitarian aid for areas including Gaza. The aid was encouraged by the Biden administration, which had proposed it nearly six months prior.

President Biden is under a barrage of attacks from Republicans and even Democrats over his vow to deny weapons shipments to Israel if it invades Rafah in Gaza. "I suspect it's pandering to the far left," Rep. Ritchie Tores, D-N.Y., told Axios. "It looks like election year politics was driving it. That's my impression." With the anti and pro-Israel wings of the Democratic Party already at odds over massive student protests against the Israel-Hamas war, Biden continues to oversee a divided party in advance of the presidential election. Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., an outspoken advocate for Israel's right to defend itself from Hamas, told Axios that he opposed Biden's pause

U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon went on an unsealing binge last week in the classified documents case against former President Donald Trump. Unlike a certain Manhattan magistrate, her honor’s first priority has been ensuring the public is aware of what government lawyers have been doing behind the scenes in the public’s name. That is creating headaches for the Department of Justice, which accuses the former president of retaining classified work documents. The items in dispute include mementos such as a personal letter from North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Under the Presidential Records Act, chief executives are entitled to keep personal records. Nearly every president has saved papers this way

"I think it’s dumb politically because it’s causing inflation and it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that the average American is getting hurt by the inflation," he said. "It seemed to me the Fed was in a perfect position. Inflation was coming down, financial conditions were tightening... To some extent, I feel like they fumbled on the five-yard line." For a man who has never been shy about sharing his sanctimonious opinions, former President Barack Obama has been noticeably quiet about anti-Israel anarchists’ takeover of U.S. college campuses. On Monday, Columbia University — Obama’s alma mater — announced it will not host its university-wide commencement ceremony for this year’s graduating class. That appears to be a response to the pro-Hamas demonstrations that have engulfed the school for weeks. The announcement came days after the university (finally) permitted law enforcement to arrest participants unlawfully occupying a school building.

The school board in Shenandoah County, Virginia, early Friday approved a proposal that will restore the names of Confederate military leaders to two public schools. Chuck Edwards’ (R-NC) Equal Representation Act, with all Republicans supporting the bill and all Democrats opposing: (Video) The Equal Representation Act would require the decennial census, to be taken in 2030, to include a question whereby respondents certify whether they are an American citizen or a foreign national, such as a green card holder, visa holder, or illegal alien. The issue arose after Johnston petitioned to have the group moved to more permanent shelters. Is there a better example of putting the cart before the horse than “green” energy boondoggles of the left? The answer is a resounding no. Force conversions to electric vehicles without putting the proper and sufficient charging infrastructure in place? Check. Manufacture millions (billions?) of solar panels with no disposal plan in place? Check. Build countless offshore wind “farms” without conducting studies to determine the impacts? Check. [snip] Downstream turbulence from offshore wind turbines can reduce power generation at nearby turbines, substantially reducing the total potential from planned U.S. offshore wind projects, according to recent research from the Colorado University Boulder and National Energy Technology Laboratory.
