The Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) has many demands in their latest salvo in negotiating a new contract with the public schools system.
While the union’s demands have not been made public, Fox News reports a leaked document “sheds light on the eye-popping demands.”
The $50 billion they are asking for includes a 9% wage hike, fully paid abortions for its members, new migrant services and facilities, and a myriad of LGBT-related requirements.
According to Fox News, the total base tax receipts for the state of Illinois last year were $50.7 billion.

The ambitious project faced the wrath of nature as strong winds reaching speeds of up to approximately 31 miles per hour tore through the installation, uprooting and severely damaging the high-tech solar panels that floated on the backwater of the dam.

The United States Military Academy at West Point is introducing a new curriculum that includes courses on “deconstructing patriotism,” “cross-dressing in the military,” and other topics related to gender norms and representation.
These courses are part of a broader initiative by the Biden regime to integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) propaganda into the curriculum over duty, honor, and country.
Former Navy SEAL and Representative Scott Taylor (R-VA) tweeted his concerns after the curriculum was reportedly shared with him, stating, “This was sent to me, classes at U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

California lawmakers are considering a bill that would give preference to African American applicants seeking occupational licenses, for such professions as teaching, nursing, counseling, electrical work and others, especially those who are descendants of slaves. (snip) Under current law, only veterans are eligible for such prioritization.
Mr. Gipson argued in the analysis that if such priority can be granted to veterans, similar standards should be applicable to African-American applicants. (snip) The bill, which will now be heard in the Assembly’s Appropriations Committee, passed the Assembly’s Business and Professions Committee on a 13–2 vote last week.

Crooked far left Judge Juan Merchan threatened President Trump on Monday with contempt of court violations.
Merchan also threatened to throw President Trump in prison.
Merchan also threatened President Trump’s team with contempt of court for speaking out publicly in his defense.
Democrats hate when conservatives and Trump supporters refute their lies and push back against their lawfare attacks.(Photo, X) Crooked Judge Merchan still has not allowed the defense team to know the witnesses that will be called before the court.
The far left judge told Trump he has until 2:15 PM today to take down posts on Truth Social.

Former CNN host Chris Cuomo said in a recent news segment that he is suffering from a health condition after he received a COVID-19 vaccine.
Mr. Cuomo made the revelation during his NewsNation program when he was interviewing a nurse practitioner, Sean Barcavage, who was featured in a recent New York Times article about vaccine injuries.
“We know that vaccines can have unintended consequences, AKA side effects, but nobody’s really talking about it because they’re too afraid of blame, and they just want it to go away,” Mr. Cuomo said. “But the problem is people like Sean—and me—and millions of others who still have weird stuff with their bloodwork and their lives

While Democrats may have hoped that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s prosecution of former President Donald Trump would hurt his 2024 campaign, recent polling shows the proceedings have failed to seriously impact the president’s chances.
Trump will enter his fourth week of the New York trial on Monday, where he faces 34 felony counts related to allegedly falsifying business records when reimbursing a payment to pornstar Stormy Daniels in 2016. Several polls released since the start of jury selection on April 15 have found that a potential conviction won’t deter voters from supporting Trump in November. Moreover, individuals nationwide say they don’t believe the former president acted illegally

“You know what I hate?” Donald Trump asked in Freeland, Michigan, on Wednesday night. “When these guys get on television, they say – pundits, you know, the great pundits that never did a thing in their whole lives – ‘You know, we have two very unpopular candidates. We have Biden or we have Trump. These are very unpopular.’”
Watched by a crowd of adoring fans in Make America Great Again (Maga) regalia, against the backdrop of a plane marked “Trump” in giant gold letters, the former US president protested a little too much: “I’m not unpopular!” Opinion polls disagree, showing Trump with a low approval rating thanks to voter

The pro-Palestinian, antisemitic protests on university campuses across the nation are funded by President Joe Biden’s own political donors — which could explain why he hesitates to condemn them and won’t investigate them.
Biden equivocated last month when asked to react to the protests, saying that he condemned the antisemitism but also condemned those “who don’t understand what’s going on with the Palestinians,” which puzzled observers. Research by NGO Monitor and others into the donors behind the protests has turned up familiar names from the Democratic Party bankroll — including George Soros’ Open Society Foundations and other liberal philanthropies.

The American surfers and Australian brothers who were found dead on a surfing vacation in Mexico were likely killed when they refused to hand over their car to a trio of carjackers, according to a report.
The bodies of Jack Carter Rhoad, 30, and brothers Callum, 33, and Jake Robinson, 30, were discovered alongside their burnt white pick-up truck nearly a week after they vanished from the Baja California providence.
Authorities theorized that the idyllic trip turned tragic when the local bandits approached the men while they were at their beach camp at a popular surf spot known as La Bocana.
“When they tried to get the vehicle, the victims opposed the robbery,
