I hope these traitors suffer the full force of the law for their complicity in plotting to upend the powers of the President. But I fear this will be swept away while heroic President Trump suffers the death of thousand cuts.

As a practical matter, Trump had full legal power at that time to relieve every one of those military leaders from their commands, including putting them under arrest. If he is re-elected, he needs to fully establish that as a standing order in the event such an attempt is made again.

President Trump has now, and had then, vastly more more military understanding and stature in his little finger than both Obama and Biden have combined. Besides, Obama and Biden have no respect whatsoever for the United States of America other than what money and prestige the office can bring them personally. Just review ANY film available of the way O or B saluted their presidential crew of Air Force One. The high water mark of any Democrat is how little respect they show for the office and the heritage of the country's leadership.

I remember this when it happened, and it was simply passed over. Milley refused to take orders from the then commander in Chief. He shoud be imprisoned along with the leader of the J-6 fiasco Nancy Pelosi.

Milley must be tried in a courts martial.
If we let this pass,it will done again on Inauguration Day.
Does the left not understand that they have broken the Republic with this action?
The Constitution not longer applies to this "country"...

Joe Biden and Barack Obama define "commander in chief powers" as doing whatever the hell they want and the sycophants in the US Government just go along with it, Constitutional or otherwise.

Can't legally be done. A President must be removed from office, to 'strip him of his powers'. That requires an impeachment AND conviction.
Neither happened. So if they acted as if they had removed his CIC responsibilities, without that act, they committed treason and the "coup" is entirely on their heads. Trump and the J6ers didn't mount an insurrection - THEY DID!!!

All a setup, just like the Russian Hoax, just Like Trump's impeachment where Trump said nothing wrong on a phone call to the Ukraine president. Remember "They are who they want you to hate". Everything they are accusing Trump of doing or will doing, is exactly what they are doing. They stole the 2020 election and have since destroyed our country. Got it, wake up already.

The way for Trump to FIX this is 'Recall' all the retired military officers that are Traitors, starting with Milley, and after they are back on active duty he can court marshal all of them for TREASON, bust them to private then delete their retirement, THEN send them to GITMO to live with the Muzzies...of course the Muzzies need to know the traitors Hate Islam. Problem Solved!

Trump never forgets! These Guys must be wetting their Drawers about now. I'm sure they thought what they did would never see the light of day! But it has! Trump will think it out and decide what to do, but never, ever, think that he has forgotten! They will pay!

I hope to see Milley frog marched to jail, then court martialed and either life in prison or, if done properly, this level of treasonous mutiny used to result in a hanging. That would be a particularly good idea.
As the French say, "Pour encourager les autres" -- or in English, "to encourage the others".....not to commit treasonous mutiny.

FTA:
The final report from the select committee acknowledges that Trump did approve deployment of the National Guard despite claims that he did not give the proper authorizations, which resulted in the more than three-hour delay.
'Former President Trump's eagerness to engage the U.S. military to play a visible role in addressing domestic unrest during the late spring and summer of 2020 does appear to have prompted senior military leadership to take precautions, in preparing for the joint session against the possibility that the DC Guard might be ordered to deploy for an improper use,' the final report reads.
Notice how the "committee" was so eager to portray Trump as wanting to engage the U.S. military, which is an effort to portray him as possibly wanting to do something else(their justification for other things).
Of course, he would have been criticized if he didn't offer the National Guard troops.
(just like the Illinois Governor will be criticized for not deploying the National Guard troops in Chicago later this summer)
Never forget the DC Mayor wrote a letter declining any assistance on Jan 6.
I also believe it has been previously reported it was Nancy Pelosi who refused to have the National Guard on the Capitol because of the "optics".
But, they wanted to blame President Trump and any/all who were in DC on Jan 6.

Has Trump ever said the military blocked his actions on 1/6? I don't ever recall him mentioning anything like this ever happened. Fairly certain he would have, if the military had interfered. Up until now, it has always been said the DC Police and Nancy Pelosi decline National Guard assistance. Was military brass involved in this too? Right now, we have a whistleblower making an accusation. Now it's time to get evidence.

The media is already playing the tune for the next Trump administration. Any attempt at righting the ship, at bringing these crooks to justice, at holding the evildoers accountable --- will be reported as vengeance and not rescuing the country. After Highbrow Eyebrow Milley gets his, I'd like to see Trump revoke the Medal of Freedom just "awarded" to Pelosi. Maybe he could get a paper form of it and tear it up in front of the cameras.

There is a big difference between "Stripped of his powers' and some traitorous, treasonous mutinous insurrectionist leftist 0bamanite Perfumed Princes in the Pentagon and some leftist generals and colonels in the national guard in leftist states deciding that they wouldn't follow lawful orders by the lawful Commander in Chief.
But the totalitarian leftists in charge now, and their media Propagandist arms hope that you are too stupid to realize they are feeding you more Trump Hate Porn rather than any semblance of truth.

GHW Bush, when he needed military troops on the ground in LA top quell the race riots, at least had sense enough to deploy Marines. There were and are Marines available in DC and in the USMC, no matter what your "day job" might be, all Marines are riflemen.

The reality is that even if Trump wins, he still has to deal with the career bureaucrats who dominate our government. If they don't want something to happen, it won't happen.
