White House national security spokesman John Kirby said the Biden administration is "perplexed" by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision to cancel a high-level delegation’s planned visit to Washington after the U.S. decided not to veto a U.N. Security Council vote demanding a cease-fire in Gaza. Monday’s resolution, which passed 14-0, called for an immediate cease-fire during the ongoing Muslim holy month of Ramadan. It also demanded the release of all hostages taken captive during Hamas' Oct. 7 surprise attack in southern Israel. However, the measure does not link that demand to its call for a cease-fire.
Rather than use its veto power, the U.S. abstained from voting.

The Biden administration is so self unaware I am surprised that they recognize themselves when they look in the mirror. They apparently forgot their recent UN resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire with Hamas. They most likely don't remember what Kamala Harris or Chuck Schumer recently said about Israel and their position on Rafah. Maybe it is Democrat's support for Hamas and demonization of Israel for protecting their citizens from future attacks by Hamas (like the US did with Isis). Maybe it was the US threats of "consequences" if Israel went into Rafah if Israel did not do what we tell them to do.

I don't know how to say it in Hebrew but in the American military, we'd just say Foxtrot Yankee, Joe Biden!

I'm perplexed how we could abandon one of our closest allies who are defending themselves against brutal terrorists in favor of those same terrorists.

Clearly, Joe and his Merry Men didn't see this coming. But they now realize that there's nothing they can do to stop Israel's annihilation of Hamas. The only option they have left is actually attack Israel or to at least arm Hamas. Would Joe do that?

But I am.

Don't misunderstand this 'perplexity'. It is not because of lack of acumen or stupidity. The world view behind that statement is warped and jaundiced and dangerous. It is the view that drives our entire security and foreign policy. The source is the left cabal that stole the last few elections. THEY are our target. Not their spokesmen.

The Biden administration clowns have been acting like a bunch of cub scouts attempting to tell George Patton how to win WW2. Blinken got a lot of free trips to Israel for his efforts and Biden still looks like a jackass in the eyes of the world.

I am sure they are disappointed. They probably had a plan for Joe to pull out his angry man persona and shake a finger in Bibi's face, with cameras rolling.

It's all Kabuki. Bibi keeping up his strongman act knowing the neocons will keeping sending him the weapons he needs (nod, nod, wink, wink). Meanwhile, the dummy in chief's handlers try to thread the needle of placating Muslim voters they need in certain districts and not 'p' off/fool the US Jewish vote.

Good for Bibi...it's time Israel makes a clear statement to Obama/biden...it's their war and they will handle it...no need for the Iranians in the White House to make demands of Bibi...Hamas is losing miserably and this latest attempt to stop IDF and Mossad from finishing the job is clear to everyone....patience Israel...President Trump is on his way....
