You know, I think they are. I've even made a handshake bet that they will. But I'll confess to questioning my end of that wager more than ever, after the events of Thursday afternoon and evening. Even before the Special Counsel report arrived, the president had been spending the week mistaking European political leaders for their deceased predecessors. Then the report detonated. It announced that the DOJ would not pursue charges against Joe Biden over his unlawful conduct, despite evidence that he "willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency," including items that were marked highly classified.

Of course they won't stick with Biden. Why should they? They'll let the special counsel be The Bad Guy and the sycophant MSM will accuse the Pubbies of being heartless ageists who show no concern or empathy for our nation's elderly. Don't kid yourself--- Joe's Gotta Go and what's playing out has likely been discussed and planned long ago. You can't possibly believe that Biden and his handlers JUST NOW learned about the report? NOBODY gave them a heads up? The Dems are flying by the seat of their pants on this---and are panic-stricken? C'mon.

Pass the popcorn. The longer the Dems wait to do something about Mr. Potato Head -- assuming he refuses to step down voluntarily -- the harder it will be for them to change horses in midstream. POTATUS could simply announce he will not seek a second term but will serve out his first term. That will take care of the Kamala problem. But who exactly would the Dems run in his place? Gavin? (That would be a gift to the GOP.) Hillary? (An even bigger gift.) The Linebacker? (She already lives like a queen. Why would she want to be President? That requires work -- and who says Democrat voters will support her?) Maybe the Dems would do what they often do -- come up with a candidate people know very little about and pitch him/her as a newly-discovered superstar. I really do get the sense, though -- for the first time -- that Biden and the Dems have hit a turning point from which there is no return.

Demoncraps never give up. When Slick Willie was caught with his pants down with Monica he just wagged his finger at the world and said: I did not have sex with that woman. Back during an economic crisis we were told that certain organizations were "Too Big to Fail." The special prosecutor said in cleaned up words that Quid Pro Joe was too old to do time. Certainly Old Yeller has trouble treating Egypt and Mexico as different. Both countries have pyramids and mummies. The first thing he wants to do when going to either country is smell the mummies.

Here's the problem for Democrats: The basic algorithem set up by Dominion on hundreds, if not thousands, of voting machines is "if Trump, then Biden". Changing "Biden" to some other person at this late date would involve a complicated code rework that would become very obvious very quickly around election time. Plus I think Dominion has become a bit gun shy about this kind of finagle. They got lucky when Fox caved - lucky again? Everybody's watching this time.

The Democrats will stick with Biden up to the Democrat National Committee where he will appear, give a speech to the effect that because of health issues, not related to his memory, that he will not run for re-election. But Biden will stay in office past the election and up to Inauguration Day in January, 2025 so that he can grant Hunter Biden and others a presidential pardons. The Democrat National Committee in a moment of extreme “emergency” after Biden has given his speech, will then select who the Democrat Presidential candidate will be, without any primary process, and will announce their selection before the Democrat National Convention ends.

The only person that can get rid of Joe Biden is Joe Biden. That won't happen. Meanwhile his inner circle continually tells him how great and wonderful he is while laughing at him behind his back. None of them will listen to critics, either Republican or Democrat. The people that installed Biden are happy with him. They have practically everything they want. The America haters love Biden. They say, 'Biden and America are looked up to around the world?'. Then they point and laugh.

Senator Josh Hawley, R-Mo., said that Attorney General Merrick Garland is at a crossroads after Justice Department Special Counsel Robert Hur declined to charge President Joe Biden for mishandling classified documents because of his mental state. Hur’s report, which was made public on Thursday, found that after a months-long investigation, Biden "willfully retained and disclosed classified materials," but he concluded that no criminal charges were warranted, because based on "direct interactions with and observations of" the president, Hur and his team said "[i]t would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him

Democrats are growing increasingly worried about the state of President Biden's mental acuity after the release of the special counsel report stemming from his handling of classified documents. Special Counsel Robert Hur released the report on Thursday, and although the president won't face criminal charges, the report alleged the president forgot key details of his life, including information surrounding his time as vice president and his son's death, during pertinent interviews while the probe was being conducted. Biden called an unusual press conference after the release where he sparred with reporters

While the report stated that such actions "present serious risks to national security,” Biden will not face charges because he presents himself as an “elderly man with a poor memory” and it would be difficult to convince a jury he is guilty of a serious felony because to commit such a crime “requires a mental state of willfulness.” The report elaborated by pointing out he couldn’t

When Senate negotiators unveiled their 370 page supplemental funding bill Sunday night, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer planned to schedule a vote on the legislation Wednesday. How things have changed in less than 72 hours. The bipartisan-negotiated supplemental is dead. It’s dead not because of Senator James Lankford, the head Republican negotiator, but because of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. With the Senate now set to consider a stand-alone supplemental for Ukraine, a country whose border security McConnell values more than his own, one can’t help but wonder if this is what McConnell wanted all along.

Is 2024’s presidential battleground bigger than we think? So focused on the past, we have been overlooking the present’s obvious. Former President Donald Trump’s polling numbers indicate his support is not just deeper but regionally broader than expected. If this is true, it has major November implications. The 2016 and 2020 elections pivoted on five states: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. In 2016, Trump won them all, and the presidency’s determining electoral vote was 306 to 232. In 2020, Biden won them all, and the electoral vote was 306 to 232. Throw in 2020’s additional close states of Nevada (which Biden won) and North Carolina (which Trump

In a dramatic setback, House Republicans failed Tuesday to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, forced to shelve a high-profile priority — for now — after a few GOP lawmakers refused to go along with the party’s plan. The stunning roll call fell just a few votes short of impeaching Mayorkas, stalling the Republicans’ drive to punish the Biden administration over its handling of the U.S-Mexico border. With Democrats united against the charges, the Republicans needed almost every vote from their slim majority to approve the articles of impeachment. The House is likely to revisit plans to impeach Mayorkas, but next steps are highly uncertain.
