When Senate negotiators unveiled their 370 page supplemental funding bill Sunday night, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer planned to schedule a vote on the legislation Wednesday. How things have changed in less than 72 hours. The bipartisan-negotiated supplemental is dead. It’s dead not because of Senator James Lankford, the head Republican negotiator, but because of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. With the Senate now set to consider a stand-alone supplemental for Ukraine, a country whose border security McConnell values more than his own, one can’t help but wonder if this is what McConnell wanted all along.

Almost every democrat being for it is all anyone needs to know.
Why are republican senators following a CCP owned leader?!
You were sent there to represent your voters, not to follow the leader!

The Republicans should have dumped Mitch long ago.
Any time anyone deals with Schumer that someone is untrustworthy.

Mitch McConnell was never a leader. He is a parasite. 95% of the Republican Party are parasites, they feed off of our blood and misery. I am DISGUSTED with the spectacle of the FAILED OPPOSITION PARTY! I am asking President Trump to rip this weed of a political party out of the soil and replace it with a new separate independent MAGA party clean of the STENCH OF MITCH MCCONNELL!

Dims were willing to 'negotiate' believing they, the majority, held an unassailable upper hand and knowing the long history of the 'go along' GOP. But everyone failed to remember that the GOP doesn't have to do anything at all by virtue of controlling the House - even if by an ultra-slim margin. Yet another falsely-named piece of legislation that legalizes the illegal and adds more to our debt and inflation. Pray the House holds.

The real money - - the big money - - is in the "Ukraine aid" package - - and that's where Mitch can direct the big bucks to Elaine's investment portfolio.
The only good laws - - are laws which make Elaine richer - - much richer.

The house is responsible for initiating spending bills. It boggles my mind that the senate is considering a supplemental spending bill, given than such is outside their wheelhouse AND that the 2024 spending bill has yet to be authorized.

it should be obvious that Mitch "MultiUselessMultiFreeze" McConnell had Lankford convey the "plan" and threw him under the bus when an uproar resulted. MultiUseless wants to please Chuck "Scary" Schumer.

And now we see why our beloved once great constitutional republic, our country, is today circling the toilet. A disgrace and a travesty. Where do we turn and what do we do now? We have a government beholden to God knows how many foreign powers and enemies. We have a government run by the most despicable creatures; an incompetent, incontinent, thoroughly corrupt president and a thoroughly corrupt so-called opposition party leader, with a bunch of lemming senators who would vote lock step to have him remain in power, even after this train wreck. We have a country where half of the people are constantly castigated as insurrectionists, harassed and threatened with an out of control weaponized massive federal law enforcement apparatus, and the other half more interested in the antics of Taylor Swift and her knee taking boyfriend.
Benjamin Franklin's quote "A republic, if you can keep it." looms large as every day our constitutional republic gets closer and closer to dissolution.

I had exactly the same thought as #2. Looking at who is supporting the bill should tell you how good it is. Surely Sen. McConnell has been around long enough. All this shows is, it is time for Mitch to go.

$ Billions in Monopoly Money being printed and thrown at every conceivable problem. Causing the American family more inflation and the elite bigger bank accounts. I wonder how much they have deposited to themselves? And the Big Guy in our WH is happy to play along as long as he gets his cut. Term limits would help. They do not care about the border. Border, we don't need no stinking border.

McConnell is a backstabbing snake of a Republican who should never be trusted.
I am waiting to see if Trump is removed from the ballot. If so, I will probably start voting out every incumbent from now on. Our elections would be meaningless, and our government made them meaningless. No doubt, McConnell had a part in that. Either through participation or by doing nothing and letting things happen.

Long overdue. Get him out of there, along with Lankford. We can't stand this sort of backstabbers in positions of power.
