The governor of Texas says his state is being “invaded” and that under the Constitution he has the right to defend his border.
On the first point, millions of people are indeed unlawfully crossing the border into Texas. Joe Biden refuses to do anything about it. In fact, he seems to be encouraging it. He stopped construction of Donald Trump’s border wall, reversed the “stay in Mexico” policy which required immigrants seeking asylum to remain in Mexico pending a decision by American authorities, and, to the extent he accidentally catches illegal immigrants, he usually lets them go

FTA: The border policy is so asinine that you have to wonder if someone has the goods on Joe.
Is that a rhetorical question? With the Biden family's background, the dirt could fill the Grand canyon.

What the writer did not mention was that all the horrors of the Civil War were fomented by an organization known to this day as the Democrat Party. As well as all the horrors that followed it.
So, the Dims have a track record of violence. They won't start another war they can't win. As Big Bidet says, "to go up against the government you need F16s." The Dims have people in place who will use all that against the American people. The Dims crave another excuse to attack the noncompliant citizens.
That is their preferred game plan. They have nothing constructive.

If we don't defend our rights, we won't have any!

Some of what Glenn says is true and some isn't. The so-called Civil War didn't begin as a war to free the slaves. It began as a war to "preserve the Union." Lincoln said he'd accept slavery if it was necessary to preserve the Union. The Emancipation Proclamation was a political move to prevent England from joining the war on the side of The Confederacy. So it ended as a war to free the slaves but certainly didn't begin with that lofty goal. Also it was never a civil war. A civil war is when two or more factions are fighting for the control of a government. The Confederacy wasn't trying to take over the federal government. They just wanted out. So if a marriage isn't working out it can be terminated with a divorce but joining The Union is a one way street. The interesting thing about what's going on in Texas is since Quid Pro Joe is violating federal law are they required to submit to the dictates of a dictator.

Meanwhile, as conservatives, yet again, embrace cowardice disguised as caution, the left continues its march toward a violent end. They have no such “moral” stop gaps.

Well written.
When I was a kid in school reading about the Civil War, War Between the States, War of Northern Aggression, or whatever you want to call it, I was appalled. I could not imagine Americans killing other Americans in battle.
I can now. Easy.
Real easy.

FTA: Altogether in the war, over 600,000 Americans died out of a population of only 30-some million. It would be as if six million died today. The death toll was greater than all other American wars combined.
Civil War - all war - should be avoided and prevented in every way possible. So many opportunities that should have been used to do that have been squandered for reasons that we don’t need to argue now. Surely, war is only desired by those whose lives would be the least affected by personal loss of life & livelihood, & could benifit from that loss to others .
That number, Six Million, is the estimated number of European Jews - men, women & children - who were herded into extermination camps like animals, and murdered en masse during the Holocaust. Two thirds of that Jewish population were exterminated for “living space”, etc., by a cabal of control freaks who thought they knew best how to save, protect & run the world. Unfortunately, that same depopulation mentality exists today.
I pray that we don’t come to the point where it is necessary to choose between dying fighting, or being exterminated without resistance.
Many Americans sacrificed their lives for the liberation of that remaining one third of European Jews on foreign soil.
I can’t imagine Americans not fighting to save their homeland from a similar mentality, if that should become necessary on American soil. America has had a reputation for never bowing her knee to anyone other than Almighty God, no matter the cost.
Success demands a spiritual renewal all across our land. Every knee should be bowed before Almighty God in repentance and prayers for wisdom, guidance & protection. May He be with US now, & provide a positive, peaceful & successful resolution to the problems we’re facing. May He surround our people in His Providential care, guidance, protection & safety in whatever may come.

The one thing the Civil War did prove is that if you try to quit the gang, they will kill you. Its not unlike MS13.

What Texas should do is to secede from the Union and tell Biden to take a hike.
