Let's begin with an either-or question: Does Joe Biden a) honestly believe that natural gas is an existential threat to mankind, as he regularly claims, or is he b) more concerned with appeasing — for political purposes — environmentalist alarmists? Ponder the question if necessary — but I'm gonna go with "b."

While the professed fossil-fuel-loathing president has hysterically declared war on everything from residential gas furnaces to gas stoves to even gas dishwashers, his quest never ends.
In a Friday morning announcement, the White House and Department of Energy (DOE) revealed their next target — and it's enormous.

I live in California and frequently write about its crime problems stemming from disastrous progressive policies like Proposition 47—which changed a slew of offenses from felonies to misdemeanors—and woke George Soros-backed district attorneys like LA's George Gascón.

But even my jaw dropped when I heard about this judge's decision in Ventura County.
Bryn Spejcher, now 33, got high on marijuana in 2018, stabbed her boyfriend over a hundred times, knifed her dog and then herself, and yet received no jail time because defense experts deemed that she experienced "cannabis-induced psychosis"—a conclusion which the judge amazingly agreed with.
To put it bluntly, this is absolute lunacy.

In a fiery exchange last month, CNN anchorwoman Abby Phillip told GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy that there was “no evidence” to support his claim that federal agents abetted protesters at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
Ramaswamy shot back that the FBI conspicuously has never denied that law enforcement agents were on duty in the crowd. He argued that federal officials have repeatedly “lied” to the American people about not only that investigation but one that has gotten much less attention: the alleged failed plot to kidnap and kill Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan in 2020.

The driver who struck a policeman at a Manhattan crime scene told authorities it was intentional, adding, “F–k these cops, it’s a lesson to him,’’ sources said Friday — with the mow-down caught on shocking video.
Sahara Dula — a 24-year-old Brooklynite whose lawyer said mentors kids to stay off drugs — was driving her black Lexus the wrong way on the Upper East Side while high on marijuana Wednesday when she barreled into the NYPD officer, officials and sources said.
“I told the cop I wanted to go straight, and he wouldn’t move, so I hit him. I did it on purpose,’’ Dula later told investigators, according to court papers.

A cargo plane made an emergency landing Thursday evening at Miami International Airport (MIA) when huge sparks began flying out of the aircraft.
Officials with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said Friday they will investigate what happened during the Atlas Air flight that had people on the ground watching in shock, NBC News reported.
The aircraft had just taken off from MIA when the incident occurred.
Video footage shows the plane crossing the dark sky as what appeared to be flames and sparks spew out behind it, per video footage from the Today Show.
“We’ll go ahead and land; we have five souls on board,” a pilot says in the audio recording.

Are you fretting about the state of the world? Fear for the future of the environment in general and shrinking glaciers in particular? You are not alone.
The globalist elites gathered in Davos, Switzerland, for the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual conclave share your everyday concerns after their week of cocktails, canapes, closed meetings, dinners, fine restaurant dining, backslapping, and endless self-congratulation.
Organizers have been so worried about pampered Davos attendees and their delicate sensibilities that on Thursday guests were treated to ballet dancers performing in the snow, accompanied by a cellist, all set against an icy backdrop designed to “spark hope” and melt their cares away.

What has so often struck me, and irked me, about the embrace of “diversity” dogma is how profoundly unintellectual it is. A wiseguy might say it’s really a simple IQ test, though a wise guy understands it’s a soul and sagacity test. To wit:
To the extent that a person accepts as imperative diversity, DEI, CRT, wokeness in general — or whatever the latest shiny anti-Truth thing is — he is a vacuous know-nothing, not just unqualified, but dangerously ignorant.
Two recent examples are disgraced ex-Harvard president Claudine Gay and Johns Hopkins Hospital’s chief diversity officer Sherita Hill Golden, now infamous for disseminating a “privilege hit list.”

The prospect of a Donald Trump return to the White House in 2024 poses a “fundamental” challenge to Europe, the leader of the world’s largest investment company warned Tuesday.
The Daily Telegraph reports BlackRock vice chairman Philipp Hildebrand issued his caution from the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.
In doing so he added his voice to the swelling chorus from Europe that fears a Trump return to the world stage.
The veteran Swiss banker said the re-election of the former U.S. president “would challenge Europe fundamentally” given Trump’s determination to embrace America First in matters from trade to diplomacy, NATO funding, and climate policy.

New York City Democrat Mayor Eric Adams is considering the idea of setting a curfew for illegal aliens in state-run housing after rising crime and worrisome safety issues exploded around migrant shelters, setting legal residents on edge.
Adams’ popularity has taken a steep nose dive recently, and he has been rapidly throwing ideas against the political wall, hoping it will bring voters back to his side after taking so much heat for his policies coddling illegal aliens.
If this latest trial balloon becomes city-wide policy, illegal border crossers in state shelters would be required to be in their rooms by 11 p.m. each evening, according to the New York Post.

Hamas’ sinister network of tunnels underneath the Gaza Strip may be over 350 miles long – or hundreds of miles more than initial estimates, sources said this week.
The tunnels may run for anywhere between 350 to 450 miles, and boast a staggering 5,700 entrance shafts, senior Israeli officials told The New York Times.
The new estimates – which could not be confirmed – are over 100 miles longer than the original numbers, which placed the tunnel network at around 250 miles long, the outlet noted.
The tunnels’ vastness is “extraordinary” given that Gaza’s longest point only stretches about 25 miles, the Times said.

Here is the latest episode featuring government bureaucrats imposing meaningless rules under the guise of keeping people safe. The Federal Highway Administration (FHA) has employed a rule prohibiting highway signs that display humorous messages.
Why?
Because using humor to convey important messages related to commuting on the highways and byways somehow threatens the safety of American motorists. /snip/
The U.S. Federal Highway Administration has given states two years to implement all the changes outlined in its new 1,100-page manual released last month, including rules that spells out how signs and other traffic control devices are regulated.

It’s a bizarre story coming out of New York City: the secret Jewish tunnels that got busted up by police. It was a chaotic scene, where officers were forced to deploy pepper spray to get the crowd of Hasidic Jews under control. Almost a dozen members were arrested. The video footage is nuts, featuring a bloody mattress and an intricate network of underground works that immediately led to city inspectors verifying and combing the area for signs of degradation in structural integrity. The tunnels were built underneath a synagogue in Crown Heights. This illegal project was supposedly the brainchild of a group of extremist students of the Chabad movement.

I know - it's California, but Soros prosecutors and judges are throughout the country along with 'social justice' politicians.
