On Wednesday, Representative Joaquin Castro (D-TX) called on President Biden to "seize" the Texas National Guard by calling them into Federal service, removing them from the command and control of the State of Texas. This is presumably in response to Texas Governor Greg Abbott's defiant tone towards the Biden Administration on closing the border. A Texas congressman has urged President Biden to take the state's National Guard under federal control if Republican Governor Greg Abbott defies a Supreme Court ruling allowing federal agents to remove razor wire from a section of the U.S.-Mexico border.

Do that, and let Abbott can call for volunteers for the New Texas Militia... and get a half million of them, armed and ready to fight enemies foreign and domestic, in a week.
Manchin and Castro are evil idiots, just rarin' to make us "Remember the Alamo".

They keep this up, and either poster #1 will occur, and/or our Texas friends will secede. If they do, come I hope they come east a few states and bring us in.

Interesting situation if the Texas National Guard faced off against the Texas State Guard. The TSG would have a tidal wave of volunteers - and a lot of them might be from the TNG.

There are millions of Texans who legally own firearms. And the strong majority of us can be called up in a moment's notice to serve as the "Texas Militia" -- defending our beloved state from enemies foreign and domestic!!!!!
And when Senile Joe bidet's handlers try to send in the military, they are going to be shocked at how many women are standing with the men ready to fight and die for our beloved state. No matter how much indoctrination they have been forced to be subjected to, our military is not going to fire on fellow citizens -- and especially not women!!!!!

Just remember the old story about the sole Texas Ranger sent to quell some disturbance. When the local mayor asked why just one Ranger was sent, the Ranger replied "One riot, one Ranger."

An involuntary Title 10 activation? A Presidential call-up? For what, exactly? And for how long? There IS a national emergency, but it is of Slow Joe's [and Border Czar/Fellatrix Kamala's] doing. All this will do is push more undecideds away from Joe/Kamala.

The Castro Brothers from San Antonio have long been America-hating Communist scum. There is very little that either wouldn't do to destroy America so long as it aided the Democrat party.

This is a rich weather balloon; they want the vegetable to "seize" the Texas National Guard to un-secure the border. Texas has 25 states supporting her. I can't wait to see this one play out.

This could cause quite a conundrum for the Texas national guard, whose orders do they follow, Biden's or Abbots?
Seizing the Texas national guard would not only put the country one big step toward civil war, doing so to keep the border open and the intentional foreign invasion going is a unmistakable blatant act of war on the people of the United States by their own government.
This will also cause quite a conundrum for the American people, this move will take the country to the point where either arms must be taken up against the Federal government to save it or it is left to die at the hands of vile evil.

Time for the people of El Paso to reassess who their Congressman really represents. Does Castro represent them or the illegals? Is Castro really calling for continued invasion by illegals from all over the world? Time to replace Joaquin Castro in Congress

Just the optics of the Feds coming in to attack a State run militia and then cutting the razor wire to let more illegals in should seal the deal for Trump. If the Texans actually banded together to fight back most Americans would back Texas. Could be a very ugly scenario.

That would be a bad idea. How many would actually submit to the Uniparty Criminal Cabal and do as ordered?
Trying to start the civil war now?

Wasn’t Texas admitted as a free state being an independent nation with a voluntary admission when they joined and aren’t bound by the rules of the other states. Their constitution is different.

Yes #7! My hubby said it’s past time to make Don’t Mess with Texas phrase MEAN something again. We have to pray for Abbott. His pattern is to talk big, step in but not very good at follow through when it gets rough. It will get rough. Come on Governor, we are behind you!!!

Just by way of an FYI, something like at least 10% of the entire population of Texas holds a license to carry. Texas also has enacted constitutional carry, and all that refers only to pistols in a state full of avid hunters and many actual combat veterans. Does any rational calculation suggest that an armed force trying to compel Texans to submit to federal tyranny has a snowflake's chance of success? The mess would be horribly bloody, but the U.S. "federales" would NOT be the last men standing. Such a prospect is too awful to contemplate and certainly nothing for which I would advocate, but facts are facts. BTW, in case some folks missed the reference, Texas has a Texas State Guard solely under the governor's command which is in no wise associated with the Texas National Guard except for some possible overlap in membership.
