Welp, here Bud Light goes again. The embattled brand — once the top-selling beer in the country — is returning to the Super Bowl with a huge ad buy in yet another bid to get past the transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney disaster that saw once-loyal customers abandon the brand in droves. But now, Bud Light parent Anheuser-Busch InBev will reportedly run a 60-second ad and a 30-second ad during this year’s Super Bowl that the company hopes will lead to a comeback after a nationwide boycott in 2023 led to a freefall in Bud Light sales.

Peyton Manning is a very poor choice for the current Bud Light commercials. With his smooth, bald face he looks a lot like Dylan.

There's never even been a faint-throated apology, much less a full-throated one.
Anyway switched from beer to wine.
Not going back.

Here's what AB should have done as soon as this fiasco started. Put the CEO on the air to make the following statement:
"With all the recent events, we realize that we crossed the line from making and selling beer into politics. We realize now that politics has no place in the beer world. We were wrong, we apologize, and it won't happen again."
That could have saved the brand.
But they didn't do that. And it cost them dearly. They'll never get those customers back. They've already found some new brand of thin swill to drink.

The same people who chose a man performing a characature of a 13-year old girl as their spokesperson has come up with "really funny" commercial. Color me skeptical.

I understand they are going to ship all the Bud Light up to the ISS because it doesn't weigh much...

So AB wants to tickle our funny bones and charm us to get back into the public’s good graces? Forget that. They went too far. We live at a time when queens are reading to toddlers at public libraries in full drag and adult males are allowed to maul women in female sports as well as ogle them in bathrooms or in locker rooms. At the same time people who object or say that there are only two sexes are being fired, sued, publicly humiliated and physically attacked. Given these facts, what AB did by contributing to a grievously destructive attempt to unmoor the public from reality and debase a healthy society is unforgivable. Dylan Mulvaney isn’t cute, he is despicable and mass psychosis is not funny.

Sounds like that will be a great 30 seconds to go to the bathroom to get rid of some of that non-bud-Lite beer I will have been drinking up to that point...

First, I stopped buying any AB brand beers. Then after buying my first case of beer 60-years ago, I've given up beer altogether. Using a male cross-dresser to appeal to underage girls is sick & just plain stupid.

It's all over for Bud Light and Anheuser-Busch. Too little too late. Good riddance.

The very act of Bud Lite running an ad is hilarious. When you need Peyton Manning, it's over.

I'll help them out - show six 5-second skits of Alissa Heinerscheid attempting to apply for jobs, stating what her prior "accomplishment" was, then promptly being shown the door...
I think it's funny.

#1, I refuse to contribute to the White hating NFL by watching the game. #2, I refuse to contribute to the Christian hating NFL by watching the game. #3, I refuse to contribute to the Straight hating of the NFL. You good folk can watch the NFL but please stop posting how you hate the Left. It is like calling yourself a Christian but then picking and choosing what you agree with in the Bible.

#20, that's kind of like saying if you don't like medicare, don't use it. Sorry, I was required to pay into it. The American citizen owns the NFL, and I for one won't let a money grubbing and feckless Roger Gooddell take it away from me. I can mute commercials and skip the halftime show. Having said that, I will refuse to pay more to watch it. Peacock can go pound sand. Sort of sad though. I used to like Peyton Manning. What is it about rich guys who sell out to the woke mob?

I will miss the ad since i won't be wasting a good Sunday watching the Super Bowl.
I know some men who dream of being sports heroes will be watching but watching there mercenary high paid players isn't my bag.
Any good high school game is better.

I'll dvr the game and fast-forward through the ten minute long commercials..and especially the halftime "show." It's the only NFL game I'll watch...sans commercials and halftime show. How do you like that Bud? Bud Light. Ha Ha Ha! (as in Marlon Brando's "Streetcar" scene).
