Republican presidential candidate Mike Pence said Sunday he would send troops into the Gaza Strip to free American hostages from the grips of Hamas if he were in the White House. “We’ve got Americans being held by bloodthirsty terrorists in Gaza, and if I was president of the United States, I would have directed the Joint Special Operations Command to stand up Delta Force, to stand up the Navy SEALs, who do the best hostage rescues in the world,” the former vice president said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Mr. Pence, okay, your military son can lead the way, how would that be? The eagerness of these politicians to keep their military industrial complex donors happy is transparent and appalling.

President Joe Biden’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is pushing to ban menthol cigarettes after it has pressed for safe crack pipe distribution and marijuana reform. The FDA has pushed its long-awaited ban on menthol cigarettes, which some public health groups believe could help improve black communities and prevent young Americans from smoking cigarettes. Menthol cigarettes are viewed as more addictive than traditional cigarettes. Tobacco companies have argued that there is no direct link between menthol cigarettes and starting smoking or even increased dependence on cigarettes. You can decide and debate this in the comments section below. Former President Barack Obama has another lengthy post about his “thoughts” on the Israel-Hamas war. It’s a tortured thought exercise that will inevitably leave all parties dissatisfied. Obama voices his support for Israel, the safety of its people, and its right to exist, which is anathema to the legions of far-left, pro-Hamas supporters we’ve seen come out of the bushes in the past two weeks. These folks weren’t clamoring for a two-state solution; they wanted Israel destroyed, along with its people.
