MSNBC’s Donny Deutsch said Wednesday on “Morning Joe” that the newly released Wall Street Journal (WSJ) poll on President Joe Biden is “freaking” him out and says Democrats need to start instilling fear into voters if they want to beat former President Donald Trump.
The poll found Trump leading Biden by 11 points on the question of who had a better record. Trump also led Biden by 10 points in perceived mental fitness to hold office. Fifty-eight percent of respondents said the economy has gotten worse over the past two years, with a majority disapproving of Biden’s handling of the economy.
The poll surveyed 1,500 registered voters between Aug. 24 and 30

Hunter Biden's former associate's emails with then-Vice President's staff from 2015 detail a closely coordinated relationship that blurred the line between official government work and the Biden family business and may be evidence of 'collusion,' say Republicans.
The GOP is ramping up its investigation into the Biden family's decades-long 'influence peddling scheme' as lawmakers eye opening a potential impeachment inquiry into the sitting president over his connections to his son's foreign business operations.
They are narrowing in on a series of emails between Eric Schwerin, a close business associate of Hunter's at his investment firm Rosemont Seneca, and then-VP staffer Kate Bedingfield in December 2015 regarding Hunter's Ukraine ties.

On January 6th, 2021, Alaina Trocano joined hundreds of thousands of peaceful Americans to hear President Donald Trump in Washington, DC and exercise her First Amendment rights.
“When I saw that it was a protest and not a rally and I saw the protest permit I thought I would be protected by the first amendment,” Alaina shared.
“I thought the First Amendment was supposed to be without fear of retaliation.”
On January 7, Alaina made her way back to the airport to catch a flight home and shared a few clips of the day on social media. She shared a video being underneath the big flag during the speech,

Former Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew Weissmann said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that it was highly likely former President Donald Trump will get a “significant” jail sentence after Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio was sentenced to 22 years for charges including seditious conspiracy.
Anchor Nicolle Wallace said, “Twenty-two years, the longest sentence so far in the Department’s January 6 prosecutions. Your reaction?” Weissman said, “Judge Kelly, in sentencing him, made various statements, clearly quite moved, saying that, ‘January 6, it can’t happen again,’ and repeated, ‘It can’t happen again,’

An incredibly odd scene unfolded at the White House on Tuesday during a ceremony to award the Medal of Honor to a Vietnam veteran.
Army Captain Larry Taylor flew UH-1 Huey and AH-1 Cobra helicopters during the war. During one harrowing mission, he rescued a four-man reconnaissance team that was under heavy fire. Because his Cobra attack helicopter only had room for the two pilots onboard, the soldiers clung to the skids until Taylor was able to drop them off at a nearby American position. Taylor flew around 2,000 combat missions and is one of the most decorated helicopter pilots in U.S. Army history.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates—Saudi Arabia and Russia agreed Tuesday to extend their voluntary oil production cuts through the end of this year, trimming 1.3 million barrels of crude out of the global market and boosting energy prices.
The dual announcements from Riyadh and Moscow pushed benchmark Brent crude above $90 a barrel in trading Tuesday afternoon, a price unseen in the market since November.
The countries’ moves could increase inflation and the cost for motorists at gasoline pumps. It also puts new pressure on Saudi Arabia’s relationship with the United States, as President Joe Biden last year warned the kingdom there would be unspecified “consequences” for partnering with Russia on cuts

Emails obtained by the Heritage Foundation following a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit, and shared exclusively with The Federalist, reveal that lies leaked to The New York Times about the origins of damning evidence implicating Hunter and Joe Biden in a bribery scandal were fed to Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss.
As I previously detailed, The New York Times reported those lies in its Dec. 11, 2020, article, “Material from Giuliani Spurred a Separate Justice Depart. Pursuit of Hunter Biden” — just a week after Americans first learned of the investigation of the now-president’s son. The Times’ reporting was “replete with falsehoods and deceptive narratives,”

President Joe Biden delivered a gaffe-filled speech during a Labor Day appearance in Philadelphia — where, in addition to giving the wrong date for his own inauguration, he appeared to forget which state initially elected him to serve in the U.S. Senate.
“I wouldn’t have been elected to the United States Senate in the first place were it not for Philadelphia,” Biden claimed, adding, “That’s not a joke.” The only problem with Biden’s claim is the fact that, despite claiming Scranton as his hometown, he never represented the state of Pennsylvania. He was elected to the U.S. Senate in neighboring Delaware when he was 29,

The House Oversight Committee on Tuesday subpoenaed the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Secret Service for documents and testimony related to allegations the Secret Service tipped off Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential transition team to investigators’ plans to interview Hunter Biden.
House Oversight subpoenaed DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for documents and three DHS employees for depositions before the Committee. The committee also subpoenaed two Secret Service officials for depositions related to testimony from two IRS whistleblowers and a former FBI agent, alleging Secret Service agents tipped off the Biden transition team in December 2020 regarding an upcoming Hunter Biden interview.

The Democrats are making a final push against Donald Trump, the culmination of their unrelenting efforts since 2016. But is their propaganda becoming so obvious that, rather than persuading voters, it finally opens their eyes to reality? The Soviet Union stands as an example of how “propaganda collapse” plays out and how that might happen here, too.
I went to college back in the 1980s, when Communism was still perceived by most Americans as a bad thing—although not one of my political philosophy professors. He proudly characterized himself as “Somewhere to the left of Lenin.” When professing his love and respect for the Soviets—but not enough to leave Florida
