Oberlin College women’s lacrosse head coach Kim Russell broke her silence about transgender inclusion in women’s sports in a documentary for the Independent Women’s Forum on Tuesday. Russell, who became the head coach of the Yeowomen before the start of the 2019 season, talked about how administrators and her players ridiculed her after she posted on her personal social media account a message about Lia Thomas winning an NCAA Championship in the 500 in 2022. In the video, Russell reposted a headline sarcastically congratulating then-Virginia swim star Emma Weyant for the victory over Thomas, a transgender female.

Comments:

Oberlin is a racist & misogynistic institution. They took a simple case of shoplifting and turned it into a multi-million dollar lawsuit accusing Gibson Bakery of racial profiling, which is what Oberlin was actually doing, and they believe fairy tales of magical humans who can transform into another gender. This school should be discredited and shown to be a laughingstock.

I'm surprised they didn't fire her but apparently she did not violate any set policy. They will probably engineer getting a tranny on one of her teams to provoke a clash. Then the college girls on the team can enjoy have a trans-guy oggle them in the locker room.

She should recruit an all male team who identify as female to prove her point. Eventually this is going to happen at one of these schools.

In the article she is quoted as saying, "Every time I’ve spoken up, I’ve been silenced, which, to me, is exactly the opposite I thought Oberlin would be." She clearly has not been paying attention to anything happening at Oberlin for over 20 years. If nothing else, how did she miss the Gibson Bakery incident?

A Friday morning session in the unicameral Nebraska legislature devolved into chaos after one Democratic lawmaker began shouting her support for transgender people amid a debate on a bill to ban sex change procedures for minors in the state. The bill, which was ultimately approved by lawmakers and sent to Republican Gov. Jim Pillen's desk to become law, bans sex change procedures for minors, as well as abortion after 12 weeks of pregnancy. In voicing her disapproval to the measure Friday morning, state Democrat Sen. Machaela Cavanaugh slapped the lectern and repeatedly shouted: "Transgender people belong here, we need trans people, we love trans people."

"Do we need to see White people also get beat before anybody will do anything? I’m not suggesting that. So don’t write us and tell me what a racist I am. I’m just asking is that what people have to see in order to wake up and realize this affects us all?" Goldberg asked.

The governor of New York is choosing not to understand why people are fleeing her state. I know because I was one of them. Green energy and the push to electrify everything have been in the news recently but for all the wrong reasons. Instead of the green energy nirvana politicians and green energy advocates have promised, economic and physical reality has begun to set in. Start with the economic realities. Wind turbine manufacturers like Siemens and General Electric have reported huge losses for the first half of this year, almost $5 billion for the former and $1 billion for the latter. Among other problems, turbine quality control has suffered, forcing manufacturers such as Siemens and Vestas to incur costly warranty repairs. In Europe, offshore wind output has been less than promised
