Amid mass Twitter layoffs, UN urges Elon
Musk to 'ensure human rights are central'

United Nations human rights chief Volker Türk urged Elon Musk, Twitter's new owner and CEO, to "ensure human rights are central to the management of Twitter." The letter comes a day after the billionaire sacked half of Twitter's workforce following an announcement that the social media platform was losing more than $4 million per day. In the open letter published on Saturday, Türk wrote, "Respect for our shared human rights should set the guardrails for the platform's use and evolution."

Comments:

What a load of blather from the UN! Respect for human rights? These are the same people who spend 90% of their time passing resolutions condenming Israel fro defending itself; the same people who stood by and watched the Hutu's slaughter the Tutsi's in the Rwanda genocide; and who enjoy a wonderful life hosted in NYC. They are among the biggest hypocrites on the planet. And Musk IS protecting the rights of US citizens under our First Amendment. Where was the UN when Twitter was banning conservatives? The UN is a JOKE.

Wow the UN has concerns about Twitter! With all the crashing and burning in the world, they are focused on social media rules. Proves their entire existence is based on taking control of deplorables and destroying capitalism.

The UN is a very dangerous conglomeration of grifters, petty tyrants, crooked bureaucrats, and other assorted thieves and scum of the earth. We must maintain our position on the Security Council so that we can veto any potentially harmful things that these pukes may do, but other than that, we should stop sending any money, and even asking them to leave the USA would be good.
