California College Professors Sue Over
State DEI Requirements

Six California college professors are suing the state over diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) requirements they say force them to take the government’s view on “politically charged” topics. (snip) “I’m a professor of chemistry. How am I supposed to incorporate DEI into my classroom instruction?” said Reedley College professor Bill Blanken. “What’s the ‘anti-racist’ perspective on the atomic mass of boron?” The lawsuit says that Blanken does not believe that DEIA principles should be incorporated into his chemistry classes, saying he believes that it would be “pedagogically unsound and disruptive” to do so.

Welcome to the world since the Civil Rights movement of the '60. In the state where I lived, if you applied for a job with the state, you signed a lot of papers. One of those papers said you agreed with Affirmative Action. Of course you had to sign it or forget getting a job. We signed it.

Well, Professor Blanken, obviously you do not understand modern chemistry when influenced by the Democrat party. All boron molecules have the same atomic mass. So? Hmm, all molecules are equal...but, some molecules are more equal than others and must be given special treatment lest their melting points dip below 2349K and they riot and become a dark metalloid. Ergo, the chemistry teacher must not be niggardly in dispensing boron to students for experiments.

All those new hires in the DEI office at the university need some papers to shuffle. Oh and add a few more grand to your kid's already astronomical tuition bill, which is probably more than twice the cost of what it actually costs to teach your kid.

There is no academic discipline into which DEI can be fitted. And who asked for it? Nobody.

The professor mentioned boron - - which is possibly the most racist chemical element - - after manganese of course. Why aren't any of the chemical elements named after black and brown people? Chemistry is pure racism.

This is funny. What the guy is really saying is that there aren't even enough non-DEI students who understand chemistry so DEI just doesn't fit. This is true in many subjects, majors and industries and the whole concept is just stupid. One must master basic math and proficiency in the English language before moving on to the tough stuff or a professor is wasting his time and passing on incompetent graduates into the real world.

I see the DEI has added a letter: FTA: "diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA)" Are we soon going to have another string of letters to go along with the gender-deniers' alphabet soup?
