MUST-SEE video: Tucker Carlson’s interview

Fox News shut Tucker Carlson down right before his show was to have aired an interview with former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund. Yesterday, Tucker released a new interview he did with Sund, and it confirms everything you’ve suspected: The Capitol Police were kept in the dark about possible problems on January 6 and, when problems finally occurred, they were consistently denied timely aid. In other words, it was a set-up. (And I have an even darker take on events than Sund does.)The interview is almost an hour long but, if you have the time, I recommend watching it. I’ve summarized a few of the high points, below,

I was very bothered that the former chief kept saying that the crowd intended to murder his officers. This is pure BS. No officer was harmed by any of the crowd. The Capitol Police shot one unarmed woman to death and beat another unarmed woman to death. Yes, that the Pelosi cabal kept away the National Guard for over an hour, intentionally, to prevent stopping the trespassing sooner, is a bad thing. And, yes, the fact that the "intel agencies" and FBI kept information from the Capitol police means that they WANTED this to go violent, and I am convinced that the FBI planted instigators in the crowd, like Ray Epps, with the intent of them egging on the crowd to do violence. And a few antifa infiltrators broke windows.....four windows....and that was the total extent of the "riot". Otherwise, people just walked into the Capitol, with the doors held open for them by the Capitol Police....until one of them just shot a woman, and killed her. Leroy Byrd, and he hasn't been brought to justice.

Absolutely, #1. I was watching this on TV as it was unfolding. I recall watching in disbelief as a black security guard (capitol policeman?) was standing at the top of a wide staircase, waiving the crowd at the foot of the stairs to come up, then pointing with his left arm towards a hallway at the top of the stairs, which the announcer reported at the time, went to the Senators' offices. I even exclaimed to Mr. D at the time, "Look! That security guy is beckoning the crowd to come up those stairs!" I've not been able to find that video clip since. I also wonder why a cameraman was at the top of the stairs by the security guard (capitol policeman?) filming the whole thing.

I wanted Tucker to ask him why the Capitol Police opened the doors. Never came up. Lost opportunity there, Tucker. Who gave that order? Someone above this guy’s pay grade? How did he feel about that? Seems pertinent to the interview to me.

#1 Sund requested Guard at 2:10 - it arrived at 6. not minor and one wonders who was saying what to whom to basically give the imprimatur to let the chaos continue.

Mr. Sund substantiates what we already KNEW happened-- It was a created and cultivated psyop engineered to create something that could be made to have the appearance of tainting Mr. Trump and his supporters. By controlling the NARRATIVE and concealing FACTS by hiding the surveillance video away from publica view at Nasty Piglosi's order and then having their little J6 Committee DESTROY THEIR 'EVIDENCE' and RECORDS they can maintain the falsehood. Due to attempting to change the verbiage of our Constitution and finding obscure 'penumbra's' or created and curated vauge descriptons of law that DOES NOT EXIST, they demonrat socialist Marxists and their ACTIVIST Federal Court judges appointed by NoBama and the non-reporting of their media propaganda spreaders (where did this term 'influencers like Bud Light's Mulvaney come from?) the Rule of Law is hanging by a thread.

Interesting interview but too far after the fact to have much impact. The Democrats already squeezed as much public mileage out of this as possible then promptly destroyed the records. Except for the victims being unconstitutionally held in DC jails most people have moved on. In fact most people never did see this as the drama of the century.

Everything about the "insurrection" was made up by the FBI and approved by Nancy Pelosi, just as we always knew, once the facts are reviewed without bias. As with every other attempt to "get" Donald Trump, the plot failed miserably, the lies unraveled and those poor patriots still rotting in DC jails are political prisoners being held illegally and without a valid reason. These government goons are going to pay, it's only a matter of time.

Roughly 100 years ago, “Shoeless” Joe Jackson admitted that, as a player for the Chicago White Sox, he and seven other teammates had intentionally lost the World Series to the Cincinnati Reds in 1919. When a kid stopped him outside of the grand jury room and asked “It ain’t true, is it, Joe?” Jackson responded “Yes, kid, I’m afraid it is.” This is not a case of history repeating itself. After being confronted by allegations of a fixed investigation, Attorney General Merrick Garland just sent Shoeless Joe back into the game,

JONATHAN TURLEY: The problem with this appointment is manifest. You know, Garland had the opportunity to do two things to regain the trust of the public. He could have appointed someone else as special counsel, and he could have expanded the mandate. He could have said, look, there are a lot of concerns about influence peddling crimes associated with the Biden family. We're going to have all of those investigated independently, and the facts will take it where it needs to lead. He didn't do that.

Ronna McDaniel saw the writing on the wall — Donald Trump, the most popular Republican candidate in history (by far), refuses to quit in spite of the endless legal and political witch hunts — and something had to be done. So Mitt Romney's niece threw a hail Mary, and back in February, McDaniel mulled the idea of a "loyalty pledge" before promptly instituting it. Here's what she had to say at the time about the tactic, during a chummy conversation with CNN's Dana Bash, via Politico:

‘You know, if you let me write $200 billion worth of hot checks every year, I could give you an illusion of prosperity, too.” That was then-Democratic Sen. Lloyd Bentsen back in 1988 arguing that the Reagan boom was a myth because it was bought and paid for with deficit spending, then running about $200 billion a year. What would Bentsen say today about an economy that – instead of blasting ahead at more than 4% a year at it was in 1988 – is barely eking out gains and appears headed to a downturn …

It’s the economy, stupid. For decades, that’s been seen as a sound political strategy behind every effective presidential campaign. Focus on the economy and people’s pocketbooks — and get some good luck in terms of how the economy is actually running when you run for office — and voila: You get elected to the White House, and you win reelection. The question a growing number of Democrats are asking, however, is whether that’s still the case, as President Biden deals with stronger economic numbers but low approval ratings.

Top House Republicans are accusing the Biden administration of attempting to stymie their investigation into Hunter Biden following the Department of Justice’s appointment of a special counsel. Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) raised doubts about whether special counsel David Weiss could be trusted and pledged in a statement that House Republicans would continue their investigations into the president’s family. “This action by Biden’s DOJ cannot be used to obstruct congressional investigations or whitewash the Biden family corruption,” McCarthy said on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

It is sometimes said that the prosecutions of former President Donald Trump are "backfiring" on Democrats. That is, instead of lowering Trump's political support, they are raising it. That is indeed happening among Republicans and some independents. But many Democrats still hope the cumulative weight of multiple indictments -- there will soon be four, when the Georgia case is added to the New York case and the two federal cases -- will make it impossible for Trump to win the general election.

That spending request seeks an extra $300 for Ukraine aid for every $1 it seeks for counter-drug programs. In 2022, roughly 110,000 Americans died from drug overdoses, principally, from the fentanyl smuggled in from China and Mexico via free-trade routes.
