Four potent signs that we are winning

The strategy of the American Marxists seeking to impose a cultural revolution has been top-down, derived from the work of Antonio Gramsci, taking control of the “commanding heights” of institutional power and imposing their vision on what old style Marxists called “the masses.” So long as the great unwashed remained passive, oblivious to what was happening, it was highly successful. (snip) the rush to transform the most basic building blocks of our culture, the family and the sexual mores that maintain it, appears to be a bridge too far, especially the attempt to impose as normal the transsexual agenda.

Wokeness is an effort to destroy the Christianity of western civilization. The only cure is to reverse the course and recommit ourselves to God , First as individuals and the communities. Not accepting the trickle down Godless secularism of the new world order.

They know they're wrong, otherwise why do they retreat so quickly? The Democrat Party has been completely overrun by ultra-leftist ideologues and would be totally unrecognizable to Depression Era Democrats. Sadly, Corporate America is headed up by leftist "celebrity CEOs" who long to be well liked by Hollywood elites and invited to their parties.

I caught a Disney ad on TV the other day where they celebrated their history, highlighting the great movies they made back in the day when I was a kid (I'm 74) and all the wonderful memories families have due to Disney's efforts through the years. There was no mention of the current ideology they are pushing. It seemed to be a last gasp idea to win back their customers. They DID produce great content "once upon a time"; the fact that the ad pointed to how successful they were back in the day should have been a wake-up call to Disney's execs --- to return to the type of movies, TV programs etc. that made them successful in the first place. That may be too big of a concept for them to grasp, unfortunately and if/when they do, it will be too late.

Don't bother watching Indiana Jones, it is not near as good as the first ones. His sidekick is his god daughter whom I never good figure out if she was supposed to be the "good guy" or the bad. She was attempting to steal or abscomb an artifact and sell it to the highest bidder and her associate was a very underaged boy wandering the world with her, learning to break the law. The woman was not likeable and I could find no reason to give her favor as I watched the movie (she was not very good looking either which is irrelevant).

#8, it has been obvious for years that the movie industry doesn’t care about their bottom line when it comes to pushing their communist agenda. Financial information has shown for decades that “G” and “PG” movies make a lot more money than “R” movies. But the executive perverts still produce a lot more of the “R” type.

Yeap, #5, even LL Bean's gone woke. Hubby saw a delivered spring catalog with two guys holding hands on the front cover and he pretty much lost it. "I've been shopping with these morons for 40 years, but never again!" He took it as a betrayal and a cynical leftist taunt to loyal (Dare I say it? TRADITIONAL!) customers who have depended on and trusted the company to provide quality merchandise. I imagine he was not the only one to take it personally.

The Nazis also tried this. They were initially successful because a significantly large portion of "the masses" worked for the government. Russia and China had a revolution and "the masses" ended up with nothing and needed the government to provide for their basic needs. I am hoping that this country has been free long enough that they keep revolting against a heavy handed government.

As more anonymous leaks muddy the waters on where the cocaine was found in the White House, one thing becomes clear: Biden’s handlers are divided on how to handle the scandal that now deserves the moniker “Cocainegate.” It’s panic time at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. The most intriguing leak went to NBC News, always willing to broadcast propaganda meant to guard the interests of the ruling class. Last week, Michelle Obama, the politician, issued a formal position statement on Twitter regarding the Supreme Court decision to eliminate affirmative action in higher education. In doing so, Michelle not only revealed her political ambition, which I believe includes the Democratic nomination for president in 2024, but also the likelihood that she herself was an affirmative action student at Princeton University in 1981. It’s not quite as dramatic as George Wallace standing in a schoolhouse door sixty years and 19 days ago, trying to block the enrollment of the first two blacks at the University of Alabama, but the incoming (tomorrow) president of Harvard, Claudine Gay is almost as defiant in a video released in reaction to a federal demand that her institution stop discriminating on the basis of race, albeit in a subtler, wordier manner, couched in terms of regret, resolve and compassion. 2024: How to Out-Compute the Left 18 replies

In 2024 Republicans cannot "out-fraud" the left, cannot "out-ballot-harvest" them, cannot "out-lawfare" them, cannot "out-media" them, cannot "out–contribution mule" them, cannot "out–Justice Department" them...but sure as hell can out-compute them — and that may do it. The left owns the election apparatus — voting equipment, ballot-manufacturing, vagrant habitats, election commissions, media intimidation of judges not to look at election fraud and driving out any lawyer who raises a valid case. Electioneering, by both sides, currently runs 1970s technology. Leftists make good use of obsolete relational tech; Republicans, not so much. In 2024, there is an opportunity to out-compute the left. Here's what it may look like.

An archbishop in the Church of England said the opening of the “Lord’s Prayer” is considered “problematic” to some people because the 2,000-year-old prayer starts by addressing God as “Our Father.” Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell told the General Synod, the legislating and ruling body of the Church of England, that referring to God as “father” might be offensive to some people because of the negative connotations of patriarchy. “I know the word ‘father’ is problematic for those whose experience of earthly fathers has been destructive and abusive, and for all of us who have labored rather too much from an oppressively patriarchal grip on life,” Cottrell said,

Stein’s Law holds that “If something cannot go on forever, it will stop.” The late Herbert Stein made the observation about economic trends, but his axiom perfectly describes Joe Biden’s shaky dance with political death. The president is trying to navigate a narrow path between two potential disasters. Each one could prove fatal to his tenure, but if the twain shall meet, he doesn’t have a prayer. And it’s a near certainty they will meet because the facts we already know are overwhelmingly stacked against him and more damaging information is coming soon. One track of his predicament stems from general public unhappiness with his performance.

Major legal rulings that dismantled the use of race in college admissions, undermined protections for LGBTQ people and tossed out President Joe Biden’s student debt relief program marked the end of a Supreme Court term in which the conservative supermajority continued to exert its dominance. The majority also doubled down on a controversial legal theory that limits the power of federal agencies to take unilateral action. Meanwhile, the justices rejected a far-fetched argument that would have limited the role of state courts in election disputes and turned away an aggressive attempt to challenge Biden administration immigration policy – both areas in which lawyers on the right might have overreached in their arguments.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen was slammed for bowing multiple times when she met with China's vice premier He Lifeng, as some critics say the protocol error is a sign of American weakness. Yellen, who served as chair of the Federal Reserve before becoming Joe Biden's top financial official, wrapped up her first visit to China as treasury secretary on Sunday. Moments after bowing at least three times, Yellen then stumbled over He's name, calling him 'Vice Premier Hu.' Both Washington and Beijing said the meetings during her four-day trip were fruitful, although the visit - designed to help smooth a rocky relationship - did not generate any concrete agreements.
