Fox 5 News Atlanta reported that Khalid Kamau, the socialist mayor of South Fulton, Georgia, was arrested Saturday morning after entering unlawfully entering a house and refused to accept responsibility. He was charged with criminal trespass and burglary in the first degree. One could say he was leading by example considering his dangerous leftist policies encourage this sort of behavior. Kamau was booked into the Fulton County Jail and was released at 8 P.M. Saturday night after posting an $11,000 bond.

What TIME sat morning was he arrested? was the sun up? Was this a residential or commercial building? Was someone there at the time or did they arrive and find him there? In answer to an alarm? How did he gain entry..unlocked door? Through a window? Broke in, causing damage? Was the armed owner that captured him Black? White? Other?(I'm guessing that if they were white it would be in the headline) Last year same date... "In July 2022, he announced that he was suing city council members and the city attorney for what he called violations of the Open Records Act and details about investigations he thought the public should know about."

Here is some updates with new details... Yeah he knew it was private property, and yes he saw the no trespassing signs, and saw the owners car in front of the main house...still went and broke into the lake house in the back. When caught tried to leave and said "Do you know who I fkin am??? I'm the MAYOR here! His excuses? Apparently South Fulton is in Fulton County--the same county in Georgia that is planning to indict President Trump on (forgive the pun) trumped up charges. The town incorporated 4 years ago and since then a lot of infighting has taken place; none of it can be called "race based." The mayor does not strike me as a bad guy; everybody is a socialist until they buy a house. It seems the he was sincere when he explained he was looking at the house as a prospect. He'd need to be comfortable around water moccasins and biannual flooding I suppose, but the setting was scenic and had curb appeal. Another thing: this did not occur at night, but around 7:00 am. The burglary charge was over the top, though he was trespassing. , There are plenty of stories of bad blood between the city employees and the this mayor and between the residents and the city. Everybody is throwing their weight around and it's becoming a mess. This is part of that mess, it seems. Again, most of the residents and participants are black so race wasn't the issue, but it's probable they are also overwhelmingly dem. In short this is a miniature example of how, for dems especially, politics is always personal. It's as if they follow a template at all levels of government.

Either Hunter Biden is a delicate snowflake, or his legal team is beyond thin-skinned because the letter they sent to Donald Trump is laughable. The former president has been posting extensively about the cracked-out son of Joe Biden. He’s an easy target, and we got a window into his whacked-out life when the contents of his laptop got revealed. Essentially, Hunter’s lawyer told Trump to stop exercising his constitutional right to free speech because it could cause harm to Mr. Biden and his family (via ABC News):

The recently concluded riots in France are a dark omen for Europe and the wider Western world. The Algerian teenager whose killing lit the fuse has been likened to George Floyd, and indeed, there are striking parallels. Both were criminals who died while refusing to cooperate with law enforcement, for starters. But that is not the story Western audiences are getting from their press. Instead, they are told he is a martyr, a victim of wicked Europe. His blood is on the hands of post-colonial France. No one has bothered to ask the native French how they feel about their country coming under attack by hostile foreigners, of course.
Ten Reasons Why Affirmative Action Died 13 replies

The end of affirmative action was inevitable. The only surprise was that such intentions gone terribly wrong lasted so long. First, supporters of racial preferences always pushed back the goal posts for the program’s success. Was institutionalized reverse bias to last 20 years, 60 years, or ad infinitum? Parity became defined as an absolute equality of result. If “equity” was not obtained, then only institutionalized “racism” explained disparities. And only reverse racism was deemed the cure. Second, affirmative action was imposed on the back end in adult hiring and college admissions.

I don’t regularly follow the comedy duo Key & Peele, so I only now caught up with a comedy sketch entitled “Mother Majesty Empowers The Women of Tomorrow,” which premiered roughly ten years ago. It shocked me, not because it’s vulgar (which it is) but because it's prophetic. It shows how the female “empowerment” message from the left is, in fact, deadly for women and benefits only men. It was also prophetic insofar as it ties in with the new “Miss” Netherlands and Dylan Mulvaney. There’s nothing that kills a joke more than explaining it, so here’s the video for you to watch.

At some point in this column, I have probably had occasion to quote these famous lines from Walter Scott’s poem “Marmion”: “Oh, what a tangled web we weave When first we practice to deceive.” In another, better world, I like to think, the Bidens and their protectors and puppet masters would ruefully be contemplating Scott’s admonitory observation. In this world, however, I suspect that—until quite recently, anyway—they had smugly sided with J.R. Pope’s sly amendment to Scott’s moralizing couplet: “But when we’ve practiced for a while How vastly we improve our style.”
