Harvard vows to ‘preserve…our essential

It’s not quite as dramatic as George Wallace standing in a schoolhouse door sixty years and 19 days ago, trying to block the enrollment of the first two blacks at the University of Alabama, but the incoming (tomorrow) president of Harvard, Claudine Gay is almost as defiant in a video released in reaction to a federal demand that her institution stop discriminating on the basis of race, albeit in a subtler, wordier manner, couched in terms of regret, resolve and compassion. Harvard will find a way around the ruling, rest assured. Harvard’s official newspaper, the Harvard Gazette was less subtle

Leftists do their own thing. They don't obey the laws, but the falsely prosecute us to the highest power. Jack Smith should be heavily dragged for what he's doing to Trump. President Trump and team are doing everything they can to comply with this travesty when they should ignore it all just like they do. Think biden and his criminal enterprise are worried about being prosecuted? Heck no! When is enough enough for our side?

Well, minorities graduating from Harvard will be viewed as EEOC tokens and not considered to be that great. This is a disservice to the ones who really deserve to be there. But, Harvard has no morals when they let an employee lie about their ethnicity and kept her on staff and given tenure.

That 'president' is only there because of Affirmative Action, so she is goibg to break the laws until forced to comply. Deep seated racism, just as evil as Bull Conner and George Wallace.

Who didn't know this was coming. I remember when they lowered the test standards to get blacks. When they didn't get enough , they gave preference for living in the ghetto. Then they took kids from High School and made them cadets. Today that job is 65% blacks and 30% women and tradition is totally dead.

And another thing. Why is the fellow writing this article exclusively concerned about discrimination against "Asian kids"? With its program, Harvard demonstrably discriminates against whites as well. The court doesn't distinguish. Making this is only about "Asians" -- a minority, don't you see how sympathetic we are -- allows cowardly Republicans once again to avoid the issue of anti-White racism

It seems to me that as the word gets around that the Ivy League is run by, is filled with, a bunch of Leftist Fools, the open-market value of an Ivy League diploma is going down, down down. Just like Disney, a reputation that was earned by decades of outstanding performance is being destroyed by evil leftist fools.

I’ve telecommuted for over 30 years, which was a choice I made once home computers and the internet enabled me to establish a virtual law office. However, there’s a huge difference between individuals and small offices making lifestyle and economic choices and the lockdown’s brute force transition. (snip) commercial real estate is empty. (snip) Building owners are walking away from mortgages, leaving their empty office towers to the banks, which cannot possibly find tenants for them. The result is that we are looking at a coming commercial real estate collapse that could make 2008’s home real estate recession look like a cheery block party
2024: How to Out-Compute the Left 18 replies

In 2024 Republicans cannot "out-fraud" the left, cannot "out-ballot-harvest" them, cannot "out-lawfare" them, cannot "out-media" them, cannot "out–contribution mule" them, cannot "out–Justice Department" them...but sure as hell can out-compute them — and that may do it. The left owns the election apparatus — voting equipment, ballot-manufacturing, vagrant habitats, election commissions, media intimidation of judges not to look at election fraud and driving out any lawyer who raises a valid case. Electioneering, by both sides, currently runs 1970s technology. Leftists make good use of obsolete relational tech; Republicans, not so much. In 2024, there is an opportunity to out-compute the left. Here's what it may look like.

This week, as accounts of the whistleblowers who blew the lid off the hampered investigations of the President’s crackhead son Hunter were made public, I imagined a writer making a pitch to producers for a dramatic program called Wilmington, a political version, if you will, of Dallas with more than a hint of the Godfather. Clearly, my proposed dramatization covers so much ground, it will have to be serialized. (snip) the story reads like the sleaziest of television series. There is nothing more fundamental to electioneering than taking a list of registered voters, knocking on their doors, pitching your candidate, handing each a flyer, and getting them all out to vote. This is the building block of election management. It is stunning how absolutely incompetent the Republican Party is performing this fundamental task. Last week, NBC News did a story about how the canvassing for Republican candidates was so bad that it likely lost the Senate elections in Nevada and Georgia, and probably others as well. Our Republican Party pals could not deliver a list of voters that was close to accurate!

Sec. State Blinken ordered this review of the department’s response to the Afghanistan withdrawal. The result is critical of both President Trump and President Biden saying they failed to plan appropriately for the withdrawal. The report is sharply critical of the U.S. government’s handling of the most serious evacuation crisis since the fall of Saigon. It says President Biden and his predecessor, Donald Trump, each failed to appreciate how a U.S. military pullout would affect the Afghan government’s stability, and that standard summer diplomatic rotations in the weeks ahead of Kabul’s collapse left the U.S. evacuation in the hands of personnel who in some cases had been in the country
