When a German Lutheran Pastor Preaches
that ‘God Is Queer’

Original Article

“Now is the time to say . . . ‘God is queer.’” Who spoke these blasphemous words, and what was the context of the statement? The words were spoken by Quinton Caesar, a Lutheran pastor in Germany, at the conclusion of the annual gathering of the nation’s Protestant (meaning Lutheran) pastors. The conference theme was “Now it the time,” and this was the immediate context of Casear’s words (who himself is black, originally from South Africa): “Now is the time to say: ‘Black lives always matter.’ Now is the time to say: ‘God is queer.’Now is the time to say: ‘We leave no one to die.’

G_d is not like us. G_d doesn't think like us, doesn't act like us, doesn't have the same concerns, exists outside of time etc. We, with our 3lb brains can't conceive of or even begin to understand the entity who created the universe by speaking a word. G-d, with the word, put into place the rules of our universe. G-d makes plans that take millennia, or longer, to come to fruition. G-d is everywhere, in everything, knows all, sees all and understands all. To ascribe any sexuality or other human traits to the supreme entity is at best, ignorant, at worst blasphemy..

Since I'm Lutheran, I am embarrassed someone of my Faith would say such a thing. But then, at my age (82) I've seen a lot when it comes to Religion. The Catholic Church accepts Gay Guys as Priests, but won't consider allowing women to be Priests. Some of the Other Religions also allow Gays to preach as well. I assume they have their own Bibles as well as they couldn't possibly allow these people to preach to the rest of us if they believed what is written in the Bible about Homosexuals. Our world is a mess right now!

Yeah, sadly, not all "Lutherans" are actually Lutheran. For example, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). They are not evangelical, nor are they Lutheran, nor are they a properly defined church. They are, unfortunately, in America, much to chagrin of those of us in the LCMS (Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod).. Martin Luther would have had a few colorful words for this blasphemer.

Why would God have to have a gender. He didn't need the opposite chromosomes to reproduce, He created it all. What drivel and if his congregation buys it they deserve what it brings them.

All of this LGBTQ++____ nonsense can be summed up in two words, "homosexual hedonism." It's just an extension of the, "If it feels good, do it," mantra of the 1960's and 70's. A few verses of Scripture for this 'Minister' to ponder this Sunday: "He created them male and female, and He blessed them and named them 'Mankind' in the day when they were created." Gen 5:2 "Therefore God gave them up to vile impurity in the lusts of their hearts, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them." Ro 1:24 "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a person sows, this he will also reap." Gal 6:7

As a black man from South Africa and possibly having personally experienced or knowing the history of racism in South Africa, it may be that Pastor Caesar was speaking more from emotion than intellect when making this statement in an attempt to explain the diverse and enormity of God’s love for all mankind: “...‘Now is the time to say: ‘We leave no one to die.’ Now is the time to say we send a ship and much more and we welcome people at safe harbors, safer spaces for all.” God knows what was and is in Pastor Caesar’s heart and he will be judged accordingly. However, considering his statement at face value, as believers in the Gospel, to suggest or declare that God is gay is offensive and demands refutation. Scripture is the inspired/inerrant Word of God and Scripture states that homosexuality is an abomination, a sin: Genesis19:5, Leviticus18:22,20:13, Deuteronomy22:5,23:18, Judges19:22-23, Romans1:26-27, 1Corinthians6:9-10, 2Peter6-11, Jude6-8, Revelation21:5-8,22:14-15 Note: Chapter 22 is the last chapter in Revelation and it contains 21 verses; in Verse 15 it is again written that the sexually immoral are among those who will not go through the gates into the city which may include transgenderism as well as the legislators/proponents and medical professionals involved in the persuasion of and/or pharmaceutical/surgical participation necessary for this defacing/defiance/intrusion of God’s created order—He created them male and female. (Genesis 1:27) Martin Luther (German Theologian): “We must make a great difference between God's Word and the word of man. A man's word is a little sound, that flies into the air, and soon vanishes; but the Word of God is greater than heaven and earth, yea, greater than death and hell, for it forms part of the power of God, and endures everlastingly.” “See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.” (Colossians 2:8)

The country's southern province of al-Suwayda', whose population primarily comes from the Druze minority, is currently witnessing protests on an unprecedented scale. There has also been a definite paradigm shift in these protests: ... Calls for the government to resign, for the departure of President Bashar al-Assad and a political transition are now stronger and more prevalent. However much one might sympathise with the protests, they are probably unlikely to shift the situation in a significant way. The protestors, although immensely courageous, are too few, and have little leverage.

Europe is in "complete denial" as China proceeds to spread its influence on the continent. The California legislature passed a bill Friday that would threaten parents with losing custody of their children if they question their child’s supposed desire to undergo disfiguring hormone regimens or surgeries to appear more like the opposite sex. Assembly Bill 957 was initially proposed to require courts to consider whether parents were “affirming” a child’s identification as transgender in custody cases. The legislation was later amended in June to declare parents who aren’t deemed sufficiently “affirming” liable for child abuse.

Rather than use grammatically accurate language to refer to the awarded individual, the manual will now allegedly employ the invented term “themself.”
