Wednesday's Cabinet meeting was most interesting. After a minute of introduction, President Biden turned the meeting over to his wife Jill, who continued to run it. This allows us a glimpse into the Democrat presidential strategy for 2024: run Jill Biden.
In order for Jill to win the Democrat nomination for president, she needs to do several important things:
1. Box out Kamala Harris, Michelle Obama, and Gavin Newsom.
2. Maintain DNC support for Joe.
3. Keep Democrat contributors in line.
4. Do more and more of the president's job now.

We don't need Edith, period, no joke. Send both the JRB's babysitter back to Rehobeth.

The author should probably monitor his drinking before sitting down at the keyboard.

Do you ever get this foolishness from the Republican side? The husbands of these democrat wives are already unqualified and evil, what makes them think we want the even more unqualified wives to succeed them. Miss US with the foolishness.

To date, considered replacements for President Biden, on the faint chance he should become incapacitated, are exciting. Dr. Jill, V.P. Harris, Hillary Clinton, Chuckie, Senator Fetterman, and etc. How could we go wrong?

"Dr. Jill might run for DNC nomination." Not only does she have to beat out Mooch (Big Mike) Obama...but she also has to answer for the elder abuse in running Dementia Joe in the first place.

I suffered through the droning speech she gave (read) to the cabinet and press. "I, l, I, I, me, me, me, my, my, my..." Obama in whiteface without the charm.

Nope. They will keep Slo Joe as President. Why would anyone else step into the role and take all the slings and arrows from critic when they can leave Joe in place who is oblivious and impervious to them. Jill will be the power behind Joe and the powers that control Washington will still be in control without ever showing themselves.

For all of the reasons provided by LDotters above: Yes, yes, yes! The only better choice would be Hunter.

FTA: After a minute of introduction, President Biden turned the meeting over to his wife Jill, who continued to run it.
That sentence is the ONLY thing factual in the entire piece! The rest is pure speculation. There is no evidence whatsoever to support Herz' theory that Jill will run. Not a single thing. Might as well say that Melania is gonna run.
Hey, wait..... (smile, gasp, sigh)

Are we missing something here. We're talking about Jill Biden, correct. Attractive, generally likeable, and sounds reasonable to some extent. Is this guy on drugs. The woman is a power hungry, elder abuser and not a very likeable person. A total fraud like her hubby. Got it.

The Presidency is not an inheritance right that can be passed on like an heirloom. It must be earned.
Or stolen, as was the case with Dementia Xiden.

Did you ever look at Dr Jill's doctoral thesis? It's a bunch of rambling quotes of how to keep adult students interested in attending college. It looked lame.
But, hey, she became 'Dr' and the school got oodles of money.

"Dr." Jill has been the de facto President since the beginning of Biden's term. Joe does and says whatever she tells him to do and say, at least to the extent that he is still capable of doing so. All Joe wants is ice cream and getting his butt wiped. The problem of course is that as Biden's dementia progresses he is losing the ability to read from a teleprompter or parrot back what he is told to say through his earpiece.

In most doctoral programs, where the PhD is the terminal degree, candidates are required to demonstrate original research intended to advance "new" knowledge in the academic field. In Jill's case, she was awarded a doctorate in Education (EdD) degree and not a PhD. In lieu of a dissertation, Jill did what amounts to a book report, minus the rigor of an expected undergraduate thesis, and far below the standard of original doctoral research, which was glaringly absent from her sophomoric scribblings, which looked to be the product of an eighth grade education. Although the original title of "doctor" in academics, circa 1300, was meant to equate to "scholar" and not "physician," there was nothing scholarly about Jill's book report and it didn't even resemble a dissertation, as she never laid out her working hypothesis, the key factor that needed to be "tested" with data collection, analysis, conclusions, and detailed reporting. She failed miserably in those items; therefore, she never earned the right to have the title Doctor before her name, unless within the specific context of Education. After six years of post-graduate study, beyond the Bachelor of Science degree, I spent three years in data collection and complex statistical analysis of those data before drawing conclusions and putting a pen (computer keyboard) to my dissertation for a dual PhD, combining two separate, (but complimentary) fields of study. Each separate field required passing comprehensive written and oral exams before even starting the dissertation proposal, which required PhD faculty / committee approval before being allowed to commence the independent research at the heart of hypothesis testing.

Congrats, #19. Having only done a Masters of Engineering after my BSME, and doing two and a half years of research and building a full sized prototype hybrid electric city bus, in addition to graduate level classwork, I think I can at least a little bit appreciate the large amount of original work required for your dual PhDs. I have a number of friends with PhDs and only one is "Dr".....a college professor, when in his role at the university. Otherwise, just "Bill".....my friend.
And a dimwith like "Dr" Jill gets all puffed up about her book report and her sad little non-PhD piece of paper.

Every time a Dem president is at the end of two terms or does not want to run for re-election, we hear about their spouse running. That being said, Jill is the last person I would want to run if I were a Dem. FTA: " Jill Biden would present a formidable political challenge to Donald Trump, the likely Republican candidate". Part of my hopes this happens, the entertainment value would be immense and Trump would carry as many states as Reagan did in his second term.
