A transgender influencer was banned from the White House on Tuesday for posing topless at President Biden’s Pride celebration over the weekend.
Rose Montoya, who exposed his bare prosthetic breasts to the camera and onlookers at the official event, violated basic standards of decency and social manners, a spokesperson for the White House told the New York Post.
“This behavior is inappropriate and disrespectful for any event at the White House,” the spokesperson said. “It is not reflective of the event we hosted to celebrate LGBTQI+ families or the other hundreds of guests who were in attendance. Individuals in the video will not be invited to future events.”

America’s All Volunteer Force turns 50 this year. Since 1973, the U.S. military has, with rare exceptions, met its annual recruitment goals and improved the quality of the force.
Now, however, it is mired in its worst recruiting stretch in history. Last year, the Army missed its recruiting goal by 25% and already predicts it will miss again in 2023. Ditto the Air Force and Navy.
Officials cite numerous reasons for the shortfall: low unemployment, a smaller pool of young people qualified to serve, declining public confidence in the military and more. Whatever the reasons, these recruiting failures portend trouble for military readiness.

San Francisco may not be irretrievably lost as a viable metropolis — yet. But its status as one of America’s great cities is gone and it’s hard to see how the once-golden city can return to its dazzling glory as a center of art, architecture, and commerce. It’s not unprecedented in America. St. Louis, Cleveland, Buffalo — all were once thriving cities. All have since lost at least half their population, and those who remain have failed to regenerate the vibrancy, the energy of the early to mid-20th century.
But what’s truly shocking about the demise of San Francisco has been the speed at which the city has fallen

Los Angeles County closed a series of beaches in early June due to soaring levels of filth.
A post shared by Los Angeles Public Health’s Twitter account revealed Monday many of the county’s most popular beaches are currently closed due to “recent sewage discharge.” Malibu Lagoon State Beach and areas a quarter mile to the north and south were officially closed, while a slew of other popular tourist and local hangout spots received ocean water use warnings.
Sweetwater Canyon at Carbon Canyon Beach, Santa Monica Pier and Mother’s Beach (also known as Marina Beach) in Marina Del Rey, three of the most popular spots in the county, also received warnings due to

Jill Biden professed her bemusement Monday night at loyal Donald Trump supporters still backing the former president in the wake of his federal indictment.
AP reports she told an audience of Democratic donors at the Upper East Side home of Barry Ginsburg and his wife Merle in Manhattan the 2024 election presents a stark choice between what she described as the “strong, steady leadership” of President Joe Biden and the “chaos and corruption, hatred and division” of “MAGA Republicans.”The first lady then professed her bemusement at reading a headline before her flight landed that described a majority of Republicans in a poll saying they were still planning to vote for Trump,

U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) is again taking action against (literally) weaponized bureaucracy by leading the charge in the upper chamber to ensure the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is not using tax dollars from hardworking Americans to arm its employees — and going beyond just that to disarm the taxman and move the IRS' investigation division over to the Justice Department.
According to an Open the Books report released last month, the IRS has spent more than $35 million since 2006 on firearms, ammunition, and tactical gear for its glorified and federally empowered accountant force, with some $10 million of that taxpayer-funded armament coming since just 2020.

Did you go to camp when you were a kid? Camp still exists, but the sorts of adventures being served to children have substantially changed.
Consider a summer escape compliments of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Thanks to the college’s social consciousness, middle schoolers will enjoy an outing centered around what kind of sex they’d like to have. Supplementally, the endeavor will support sixth-through-eighth graders’ embrace of a “gender” contrary to their sex.

The number of congregations departing the United Methodist Church (UMC) exceeded 5,000 last week as the second-largest Protestant denomination in the U.S. continues to fracture over theological disagreements, mostly pertaining to human sexuality. The number of churches leaving the UMC has surged in recent years, with approximately 2,000 congregations being approved to disaffiliate in 2022 and more than 3,000 this year.
