Christie: U.S. Must Arm Ukraine Until
They Win the War — Trump Is Putin’s Puppet

Former Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ) said Wednesday on CNN’s “The Lead” that the U.S. should arm Ukraine until they win the war against Russia. Anchor Jake Tapper said, “Russian Dictator Vladimir Putin has launched this vicious invasion of Ukraine killing lots of civilians. As you know, two of your opponents have given some interesting signals. Donald Trump refused to say in the town hall with Kaitlyn Collins which side he wants to win, Ukraine or Russia. He refuses to call Vladimir Putin a war criminal. Ron DeSantis calls it a territorial dispute. Are they wrong? What’s your position? Christie said, “They are wrong. They are wrong.

Comments:

Christie, who recommended Wray to head the FBI, is doing more harm to our national security. He needs to put a very large cork in it.

And when will you decide when Ukraine wins the war? When Zelensky is sitting at Putin’s desk in the Kremlin? When Russia leaves the Crimea and other previously occupied territories? When Russia pulls back to its pre February, 2022 borders? When the US runs out of military equipment to send? When the first U S soldier is killed? Tell us Governor Christie when will you as president decide that Ukraine has won?

Christie talking out his backside again. Explain to me why I should take anything this guy says seriously? It's just food for all the Trump haters. It's been proven that the entire Trump-Russia collusion thing was a hoax. Not that seems to matter with Christie. He would rather believe lies than truth.

Not very nuanced, big man. What's EU's role? What's your nuclear risk assessment? How long wkll it take how much will it cost? How many will have to die? When Ukraine joins NATO (apparently a certainty to you), would we send US troops? Did you think up the putin puppet line all on your own or did you have help?

Rep. John Garamendi is demanding the Justice Department investigate the merger of the PGA Tour with Saudi-backed LIV Golf, while proposing legislation to strip the organization of its tax-exempt status. Garamendi, D-Calif., rolled out legislation this week called the "No Corporate Tax Exemption for Professional Sports Act," after what the congressman called the Saudi Sovereign Wealth Fund’s "surprise takeover" of the PGA. That legislation would end the tax loophole that the PGA Tour benefits from to avoid paying any federal corporate income tax. Garamendi, during an interview with Fox News Digital, said the PGA’s exemption, if left untouched, "will now flow to the Saudi Arabian Sovereign Wealth Fund through their acquisition of LIV."

California governor — and stealth presidential candidate/Ron DeSantis obsessive — Gavin Newsom announced a plan on Thursday to implement “common sense” gun control measures nationwide, “while leaving the 2nd Amendment unchanged and respecting America’s gun-owning tradition.” “Our ability to make a more perfect union is literally written into the Constitution,” said Governor Gavin Newsom. “So today, I’m proposing the 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution to do just that. The 28th Amendment will enshrine in the Constitution common sense gun safety measures that Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and gun owners overwhelmingly support – while leaving the 2nd Amendment unchanged and respecting America’s gun-owning tradition.”

Virtually alone among major auto manufacturers, Toyota has been a skeptic about the conversion of vehicle fleets to battery-powered electric vehicles. For people incapable of thinking 2 or 3 steps ahead, EVs are “zero emission” and therefore “save the planet” from CO2 (presumed to control the earth’s temperature despite no statistical correlation). But this leaves out the environmental and CO2 cost of generating and transmitting electricity (mostly by burning coal in the US and many other countries), manufacturing (and recycling) the enormous batteries, and the energy and wear and tear cost of the much-heavier cars that result. Energy losses due to resistance in power lines generates heat

Credible allegations of voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election have resulted in profound misgivings among Americans. Many conservatives have become disillusioned with the Republican party, especially at the national level where the gap between rhetoric and results has grown enormously. However, the nation has experienced similar circumstances in the past. What lessons can we draw from the history of previous elections? The 1960 election was a pivotal point in American politics. Given that only one in five current Americans were alive then, as well as the continuing decline in proficiency in history and civics, let us consider how this contest compares to our most recent presidential election.
