Dying San Francisco Sustains Another Massive Blow

Original Article

Not too long ago, San Francisco was still a remarkably beautiful city, although even then it could change on a dime. One could be in the midst of a leisurely stroll down a gorgeous street filled with chic cafes, turn a corner, and find oneself without warning in the middle of a large crowd of menacing homeless drug addicts. Now, after decades of far-Left misrule that has picked up speed in the wake of the COVID hysteria, the city’s dirty, degrading, and dangerous areas are growing rapidly and taking the whole place over, and the city’s remaining sane people are fleeing. The end is near for the Golden Gate City:

I visited San Fran back in 2009...I coined the term Ant Farm for the entire City. Everyone milling around doing nothing but feeding their face. Now we have SanFrantonio in Texas thanks to a mostly Commie City Clowncil.~

I was just in a discussion with a visiting relative about why I am so happy to have left the SF Bay Area. It’s the little things: the shock my relative expressed when they found out I NEVER leave mail in the mailbox to be picked up. “Why on earth not?” Because I have learned from my previous residence that any outgoing mail is ripe for thieves to steal. That is the reality of the Bay Area. Civilization is gone. SF is the worst of the Bay. I really don’t understand any who stay behind.

Been to San Francisco lately? Don't go. The Democrat party has absolutely ruined the place...panhandlers, druggies, homeless and ordinary street scum have been welcomed by politicians who seem to think filth and bad smells are desirable. San Francisco voters agree!

In the late 80's 90's it was one of my favorite places. You couldn't find a bad meal. Anything sub-par didn't survive. I am sad to see the state of this once beautiful city. That said there are few cities in the world that I would want to take friends or family to (Edinburgh) but SF takes the cake.

Like in "Atlas Shrugged," socialism cannot sustain itself without its parasitic attachment to capitalism, in which of course, conservatives predominate. When the producers leave, the takers suffer.

Curious as to what group of morons would still hold a convention in San Fran. Twas once a favorite place to visit. Now, I wouldn't reward its pols and business leaders one thin dime going back. Oh my! My American Thoracic Society is meeting there in two years. Guess that will be without this doctor.

If so, they'll turn these buildings into a new spying agency and browbeat the SFPD into protecting them at all costs - or else!

California governor — and stealth presidential candidate/Ron DeSantis obsessive — Gavin Newsom announced a plan on Thursday to implement “common sense” gun control measures nationwide, “while leaving the 2nd Amendment unchanged and respecting America’s gun-owning tradition.” “Our ability to make a more perfect union is literally written into the Constitution,” said Governor Gavin Newsom. “So today, I’m proposing the 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution to do just that. The 28th Amendment will enshrine in the Constitution common sense gun safety measures that Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and gun owners overwhelmingly support – while leaving the 2nd Amendment unchanged and respecting America’s gun-owning tradition.”
Toyota study shows electric vehicles may

Virtually alone among major auto manufacturers, Toyota has been a skeptic about the conversion of vehicle fleets to battery-powered electric vehicles. For people incapable of thinking 2 or 3 steps ahead, EVs are “zero emission” and therefore “save the planet” from CO2 (presumed to control the earth’s temperature despite no statistical correlation). But this leaves out the environmental and CO2 cost of generating and transmitting electricity (mostly by burning coal in the US and many other countries), manufacturing (and recycling) the enormous batteries, and the energy and wear and tear cost of the much-heavier cars that result. Energy losses due to resistance in power lines generates heat

According to PEOPLE, the Terminator star said: It reminds me of Howard Stern’s question to me. ‘Tell me, governor, what happens to us when we die?’ I said, ‘Nothing. You’re 6 feet under. Credible allegations of voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election have resulted in profound misgivings among Americans. Many conservatives have become disillusioned with the Republican party, especially at the national level where the gap between rhetoric and results has grown enormously. However, the nation has experienced similar circumstances in the past. What lessons can we draw from the history of previous elections? The 1960 election was a pivotal point in American politics. Given that only one in five current Americans were alive then, as well as the continuing decline in proficiency in history and civics, let us consider how this contest compares to our most recent presidential election.

It is true that both the growing deficit and long-term stability of Social Security are valid concerns that should draw the attention of Americans. These issues deserve the attention of all voters -- just not in the same sentence.
