Zelensky’s War on Christianity

Original Article

Posted By: Hazymac, 3/21/2023 6:19:59 PM

The news was jarring to those who had come to regard Volodymyr Zelensky as a warrior for freedom, standing unflinchingly against a sinister, unscrupulous and powerful foe: in December, he signed a decree banning the Church to which millions of Ukrainians belong, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate. Last Sunday, thousands of those Ukrainians gathered outside the Church’s headquarters, the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra monastery, to pray and show their support for the monks whom Zelensky has ordered to vacate the premises. This is the new Churchill? A man who evicts monks from their monastery

There are no "good buys" in this war. Just bad guys (Putin) vs. bad guys (Zelensky). Putin won't stop this war because he has his ego and reputation on the line, while Zelensky won't stop it because he is pocketing billions of dollars. Meanwhile, the infrastructure of Ukraine is being destroyed more and more every day. Innocent civilians are dying, and soldiers on both sides are being killed and maimed. Gee, maybe if there wasn't a huge sucking vacuum where the so-called "leader" of the free world, Senile Joe bidet, is sitting, this definitely would have never gotten so horrible. God, I miss President Trump!!!!!

The Russian sect is a known hotbed of collaborators and sympathizers who preach Russian separatism during a time of war, and it is not just Zelensky, it's a whole lot of patriotic Ukrainians who are demanding the Russian sect be shut down -- and even further, that the leadership be deported. The monastery in question is not owned by the Russian sect, it was being leased, and Zelensky is simply not extending it, ergo, they have to move. Ask yourself this: if Zelensky is so "anti-Christian," then why is he in favor of any Christian church at all? I like Robert Spenser, but he's off the mark here.

The Moscow Orthodox Church is hardly "Christian"....mostly KGB, and that was told to me by a person born and raised in the USSR who became a devout Christian, and had zero use for the Orthodox Russian "church".

I attended many standing room only Catholic Church services in Kiev over a number of years. The Russian Orthodox Church has been a subsidiary of the KGB since the soviet times, according to friends who are good American Christians born and raised in the USSR.

Fact: The Department of Justice would rather prosecute and manufacture crimes against pro-lifers, religious organizations, and conservatives than prosecute real crimes against the same by Jane’s Revenge and Antifa. Earlier in March, Attorney General Merrick Garland did a song and dance before the Senate Judiciary Committee when confronted by Senator Mike Lee on his lack of motivation in arresting and prosecuting the 83 attacks on pro-life organizations and 141 attacks on houses of worship. On the converse, he sends an entire SWAT apparatus to take down a pro-life father who shoved a pro-abortion protestor for verbally attacking his young son, and he continues to push for the prosecution

The Department of Justice has filed a petition with the U.S. Supreme Court to seek a review of a lower court decision that struck down a federal law that banned people under domestic violence restraining orders from owning firearms. A three-judge panel of the Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled last month that people under domestic violence restraining orders retain their constitutional right to own firearms, finding that the federal law prohibiting them from doing so was unconstitutional under the Supreme Court's landmark New York State Rifle & Pistol Association Inc. v. Bruen decision. Attorney General Merrick Garland had promised to seek further review of the Fifth Circuit's decision.

Reporters Jonathan Swan and Luke Broadwater profile House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer for readers who get their news from the New York Times. Comer’s investigation of the Biden family business is therefore belittled as a look into “sinister-sounding allegations against Mr. Biden and his family.” Were those “sinister-sounding allegations” formerly known as “Russian disinformation”? Maybe this is a step up. “Sinister-sounding allegations” must be something like George Smathers’s legendary disparagement of his opponent as “a shameless extrovert” — something designed to fool the ignorant rubes. Indeed, that is the gist of the Times profile. The profile features a photo of Comer in shadows

Brazil’s recently inaugurated leftist President Lula Ignacio Da Silva has initiated a process of taking back guns from citizens after a surge in sales toward the end of Jair Bolsonaro’s presidency. The Wall Street Journal detailed in a report on Tuesday how Lula has already reversed looser gun restrictions from the Bolsonaro era and plans to force owners to register their firearms or face arrest. “It’s time to put down your weapons, weapons that should never have been wielded,” Lula said after winning last year’s presidential election in contentious circumstances. “Guns kill and we choose life.” Lula has now given owners an ultimatum of March 31 to bring their guns to

President Biden recently issued an executive order entitled “Further Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government.” Make no mistake: this executive order has the effect of pushing us backward toward a racially divided nation, just like the good old days. What a shame. Not thirty years ago, a very different spirit animated civil rights. Call it the Martin Luther King vision. Dr. King’s vision was fundamentally the Christian one, where every person has dignity, where racism is a sin, where race matters not at all compared to character. Dr. King held the moral high ground here. His vision ushered in

Roughly two years ago, President Biden issued an executive order that went relatively unnoticed and has been mostly forgotten by now, but which endangers the integrity of our elections. Executive Order 14019 instructs federal agencies, some of which are unrelated to election administration, to collaborate with external private groups to “promote voter registration and voter participation.” As innocuous as this sounds on its face, the White House is emulating billionaire Mark Zuckerberg’s efforts to influence the 2020 election and turning it into a publicly-funded operation. That’s right: who needs Zuckerbucks when taxpayers like you can fund Democrat voter outreach? And before you say that’s unconstitutional, since when has that mattered

Anyway, a recent idiotic article posted on Afru.com makes the argument that drinking coffee perpetuates white supremacy. Yeah. The authors of the CDC report wrote that the fungus “has continued to cause illness and death
