Richard Belzer, a comedian known for his role as cynical “Law & Order” detective John Munch, has died at 78 — his last words as edgy as his long career: “F— you, motherf—er.” Belzer died early Sunday at his home in Bozouls, France, his pal and writer Bill Scheft told The Hollywood Reporter. The actor was famous for his role as the grizzled and wise-cracking Munch, appearing on multiple shows, including “Homicide: Life on the Street” and “Law & Order: SVU,” and had cameos in other shows like “The X Files.” Belzer portrayed Munch for 23 years, beginning in 1993 and ending in 2016 when he retired from acting.

He was abrasively great as radio talk show host Dick Ballentine on the National Lampoon Radio Hour.

I wonder if his last words were directed at Joe Biden or Tony Fauci? I'm sure we wouldn't be the only one with those sentiments. I did like him on Law and Order way back when I was still watching.

I am sorry he passed. I enjoyed him in Law & Order as well as Baltimore: Life on the Streets. Det. Munch was a great character and suited Belzer's abrasive personality. RIP Richard, you will be missed.

I remember Richard Belzer in the movie "Scarface". He was the Master of ceremonies at the Babylon Club right before Al Pacino was attacked by professional hitmen at the club. I thought Belzer had a good voice and distinctive delivery for comedy. Sorry that he is gone. RIP. Now I really feel old.

I recall him doing a skit on SNL many years ago which was so bad and weird that few people laughed. He set it up by saying, "This is what happens when someone uses binoculars that have spring loaded spikes in them," and then put them to his eyes and started screaming like crazy. It was dark and very weird. His "edgy" last words indicate a troubled soul, and we can debate to whom he was addressing them. At the least it was his last "schtick" at worst it was his conversation with Deity. There will be no comedy in Hell.

I liked Belzer on Homicide: Life on the Street with the incomperable Andre Braugher and Law and Order: SVU. He was good on the latter show long before It became Law and Order: OBU (Olivia Benson Unit). Almost every episode is woke garbage. Detective John Munch was a great character just like Jerry Orbach's Detective Lenny Briscoe on the original Law and Order. RIP to him and condolences to his family.

Former President Trump ripped into Fox News on Tuesday over its coverage of the political ascendance of Florida Gov. Next week is the mayoral election in Chicago, and things are actually looking up a bit in my long-ago home town. Chicago has non-partisan elections for aldermen and mayor — which is good, because there are so many chumbolones: dim-witted Chicagoans who will vote for any Democrat, no matter how bad, like Soros-backed prosecutor Kim Foxx. The non-partisan races tend to break down by race, among white, black, and Hispanic candidates all scrambling to make the run-off. Last time, two black mayoral contenders made the run-off — the corrupt machine boss, Toni

This is one of the most amazing videos you will see, especially considering the noxious figure at the center of it. Angela Davis is one of most infamous communists in American history. For over five decades, she has advocated for the abolition of capitalism in America and for Marxist dictatorships around the globe. In addition to her communism, she was one of the founders of critical race theory, which teaches that white people are responsible for America’s sins and ongoing problems. Prominent critical race theorist Ibram X. Kendi has quoted her at length in his hate-filled books.

Sen. Once mum on the hot-button issue, the West Virginia Democrat has increasingly targeted the investment strategy that makes fighting climate change a top consideration. Mr. Manchin insisted to The Washington Times in a recent interview that his warning that ESG hurts energy security when geopolitical risks go ignored was “not criticizing ESG” or the responsibility to address climate change. But he has begun to sound more like his Republican colleagues who dub ESG “woke capitalism.”

It is now fashionable to deride our presidents as part of the woke deconstruction and desecration of America. Two of America’s most noble presidents, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, whom Presidents’ Day honors most especially, are routinely scrutinized by the vandals running through our country and institutions. Why? The two most consequential presidents are the ones whom the woke despise most. Washington is the “Father” of the United States. But what America is he the father of? The America of liberty, the rule of law, and defender of freedom or the America of racism, white supremacy, and historical injustices? Likewise, Lincoln held the union together,

It is the year of the octogenarian. American TV viewers can find Patrick Stewart, 82, boldly going in a new series of Star Trek: Picard and 80-year-old Harrison Ford starring in two shows plus a trailer for the fifth installment of Indiana Jones. And a switch to the news is likely to serve up Joe Biden, at 80 the oldest president in US history, or Mitch McConnell, the Republican leader in the Senate, who turns 81 on Monday. But while action heroes are evergreen, the political class is facing demands for generational change.

Last year, the Biden administration caved to public outcry and disbanded its infamous Disinformation Governance Board under its “Disinformation Nanny,” Nina Jankowicz. Yet, as explored in a recent hearing (in which I testified), the Biden administration never told the public about a far larger censorship effort involving an estimated 80 FBI agents secretly targeting citizens and groups for disinformation. Now it appears that the administration also was partially funding an “index” to warn advertisers to avoid what the index deemed to be dangerous disinformation sites. It turns out that all ten of the “riskiest” sites identified by the Global Disinformation Index are popular with conservatives, libertarians and independents.

Why the 2020 Election was Unverifiable 34 replies

Joe Biden acquired his job through a legal process. However, he did not earn enough verifiable votes to justify the certifications in six key swing states. This issue is addressed in my new book, but here is some of my reasoning. I have limited myself to one example of unverifiable votes for each of those swing states. Arizona At an Arizona Senate Committee hearing on January 24, 2022, we learned that precisely 95 percent of Maricopa County overseas military members (and their families) voted for Joe Biden. That is an amazing (as in phony) percentage, given that the overall county-wide vote was fairly even between Biden and Trump (51 to 49%).

The U.S. is expected to quadruple the number of U.S. forces deployed to Taiwan in the coming months as tensions with Beijing continue to simmer. The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday that the Pentagon plans to deploy between 100 and 200 troops to the self-ruled island, up from around 30 a year ago.  Servicemembers from the Marines and the special forces have been sent to Taiwan in the past and the number has fluctuated over the years. However, this uptick would mark the biggest increase of American troops on the ground in Taiwan in decades.

The bill, introduced by Rep. The proposal asks the House and Senate Sergeant at Arms and the U.S. Capitol Police to take "such actions as may be necessary" to keep Trump from entering the halls of Congress forever.
