Don’t Fall For Joe Biden’s Economic
Fairy Tale

Like Nero bragging about rebuilding Circus Maximus after burning it down, Joe Biden took to the podium tonight to take credit for solving a slew of problems he helped create. At the top of his State of the Union address, the president boasted that he had “created more jobs in two years than any president created in four years.” No president — not Joe Biden nor Donald Trump — creates jobs. But Biden’s contention was exceptionally misleading, considering he inherited an economy that had been unplugged by an artificial, state-induced shutdown. If the government compels businesses to shutter, it doesn’t “create” jobs when allowing them to open.

While Trump was still in office 30 million jobs lost(temporarily), by Bidens own count. 12Million jobs created ...equals 18million jobs "gone for ever" under Biden Keep in mind ,Trumps plan for Govt mandated employment "pauses" was to distribute emergency Govt funds through employers, people that had been on payrolls would remain on payroll, rather than being moved to unemployment rolls. Causing as little disruption as possible, peoples healthcare coverage would remain, as would pensions, perks and, retirement/vacation accounts, limiting opportunities for fraud and abuse. Instead Dems demanded it go through Govt unemployment bureaucracies(guaranteeing full employment, accommodation spending, hazard mitigation and hazard pay and massive overtime for their Govt Union cabal ...where oversight went totally by the wayside and 10's if not 100s of Billions in waste fraud and abuse took place. Thousands of incarcerated felons filed for and received unemployment compensation, even hundreds of federal/state/local govt workers that were NEVER unemployed, who's compensation actually was increased due to the "Crises" filed for and received unemployment funds. Ponder this as well...when Trump stated during the campaign that "the Greatest threat America faced was ...China" he was bashed as Racist, when he tried to shut down travel from covid hotzones to keep it from spreading so far and so fast...he was Called Racist. When he talked about the covid, trade and economic challenges caused by China in his SOTU he was called Racist. Biden bashes China in the SOTU , he is acclaimed as "Strong, knowledgeable, resolute, masterful, confidence inspiring"

In his second State of the Union address Tuesday, President Joe Biden highlighted how our country is “always moving forward … never giving up.” Presidents use this platform to sell their accomplishments – and make a case for future plans. And Biden is eager to shift the conversation from his political troubles, such as the classified document fiasco or the recent Chinese spy balloon uproar. This was Biden’s best chance to talk frankly with the country – and set the tone with a new and divided Congress. But the big-government solutions he offered failed to adequately address pressing concerns, including the ongoing financial difficulties faced by many citizens.

So many lies were told at the House Oversight’s first committee hearing Wednesday into the corruption scandal involving Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop and the subsequent cover up by the FBI with social-media firms to rig the 2020 election in favor of Joe Biden. Or, as Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez tried to rebrand it: “Hunter Biden’s half-fake laptop.” It’s a sign of desperation that more than two years after The Post published the first bombshell story from the laptop, Dems can’t get their stories straight on what the laptop really is.

First, the “Twitter Files” lifted the lid on Big Tech bias that had been shielding President Biden and his son Hunter from deserved scrutiny. Congressional hearings provided added details of how Washington officialdom egged on the social media firm, famous for its little blue bird of free expression, to fly cover for the Biden brand. Americans deserve a full accounting. Public testimony began Wednesday with the House Oversight and Accountability Committee’s hearing titled “Protecting Speech From Government Interference and Social Media Bias, Part 1: Twitter’s Role in Suppressing the Biden Laptop Story.” Former Twitter executives Vijaya Gadde, James Baker and Yoel Roth all testified. All were central figures

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Tuesday failed to slow down the House Republican push for new oil and gas leases on federal land, after GOP lawmakers shot down her attempt to require further study of the public health impacts of energy extraction. The House National Resources Committee met Tuesday to adopt its work plan for the new Congress. Included in that plan is language that says the Biden administration has leased fewer federal acres for oil and gas development than "any presidential administration" since the end of World War II.

President Joe Biden's State of the Union address Tuesday night is widely expected to double as a kickoff to his 2024 reelection campaign. It's being called a "soft launch" because Biden will not actually announce his candidacy but will instead make it unmistakably clear that he is running. The striking thing about a Biden 2024 campaign is that it is a race few people want him to run. A new Washington Post-ABC News poll found that just 31% of Democrats want Biden to be the party's nominee in 2024.

How did the State of the Union — which owes its origin to a one-liner in the Constitution instructing the president to “from time to time give to the Congress Information of the state of the Union,” become an annual political carnival that requires an UltraMax security cordon to be cast over the Capitol Building, swallows hours of live TV coverage on a half dozen networks, and goads reams of pre- and post-analysis out of the typing press — become such an all-consuming gala? The Constitution’s authors didn’t think the SOTU was essential, giving presidents the wide instruction that they must only address remarks to Congress “from time to time.”

Real Time' host Bill Maher likened today's "woke revolution" to the Chinese Cultural Revolution and spoke about how we have embraced the "re-education" policies under Chairman Mao in a monologue on Friday's broadcast of his HBO show. "If you're part of today's woke revolution, you need to study the part of revolutions where they spin out of control because the revolutionaries get so drunk on their own purifying elixir, they imagine they can reinvent the very nature of human beings," Maher said. "Yesterday, I asked ChatGPT, 'Are there any similarities between today's woke revolution and Chairman Mao's Cultural Revolution of the 1960s' and it wrote back, 'How long do you have?'"

Post-mortems of the midterms concluded that the GOP underperformed in 2022. It’s difficult to argue that we didn’t. But at the end of the day, after the ritual finger-pointing and recriminations from the D.C. consultant class, the real question is: Did we learn enough to avoid a sequel in 2024? 2022 taught us some clear lessons: We need to build a ballot harvesting machine; we have to fix the massive cash gap; and we must execute a more effective message strategy.

One of the strangest things about the American response to Ukraine has been the willingness of the Left and the establishment Right to discount completely that the war is heading toward a rendezvous with ever-deadlier weapons and staggering fatalities—even as we witness increasing nuclear threats from a weakened and adrift Vladimir Putin. They insist that Putin is merely saber-rattling. And he might be. Supposedly, in his diminished and discredited state, Putin would not dare to set off a tactical nuclear weapon (as if diminished and discredited leaders are not more likely to do so).

After 11 Oregon counties approved a preliminary vote to secede from the Democrat-led state, local leaders around the movement are explaining how the urban-rural divide has left them with no other choice. People in eastern Oregon have felt like their state-level governance has not heard them, has not paid attention to our concerns, and has not been working for eastern Oregon," Greater Idaho Movement spokesperson Matt McCaw said on "Fox & Friends First" Monday. McCaw, along with Oregon business owner Sandie Gilson, supports the idea of having select counties elect to move their state borderlines so state-level governance would come from Idaho.

“I declare herewith once more and most emphatically that the guilt of the German people in this war — into which they were forced by you — consists solely in trying to end the eternal difficulties to their national existence, which you artfully instigated and continued.” Hermann Göring wrote these words to Winston Churchill just a few days before his death sentence for crimes against humanity was to be executed. The court at Nuremberg had seen the cold, hard evidence of his crimes as Hitler’s No. 2 man. A salient example was his orchestration of Kristallnacht, the gigantic, nationwide pogrom that resulted in the burning and smashing of synagogues and Jewish

A committee was formed to consider proposals for reparations and to make recommendations to the legislature. As Breitbart News has reported, reparations could amount to $230,000 per recipient,

Much of 24-year-old Colin Johnson’s savings account was drained by thieves who used a popular banking app to do the damage; one that is now under fire by lawmakers. (Snip) In the months that followed the robbery, Citibank declined Johnson’s multiple requests for refunds, as well as his appeals, arguing that Johnson had authorized the money transfers. This, despite Johnson sharing with Citibank’s fraud department the police report documenting the crime that occurred.
