Democrat-led state that’s ‘killing

After 11 Oregon counties approved a preliminary vote to secede from the Democrat-led state, local leaders around the movement are explaining how the urban-rural divide has left them with no other choice. People in eastern Oregon have felt like their state-level governance has not heard them, has not paid attention to our concerns, and has not been working for eastern Oregon," Greater Idaho Movement spokesperson Matt McCaw said on "Fox & Friends First" Monday. McCaw, along with Oregon business owner Sandie Gilson, supports the idea of having select counties elect to move their state borderlines so state-level governance would come from Idaho.

Comments:

I’d love to see southeastern WA counties join Idaho, too — if Idaho will have us.

Between what Idaho is going to gain from Washington and Oregon, all of a sudden, idaho is a pretty big state :).

The Republic of Texas approaches. Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, S Dakota, N Dakota, Montana, Alberta (Canada), Saskatchewan (Canada), Manitoba (Canada), and a few states along the sides. Let's go EAST. Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida. We have every shipping port in The Gulf of Mexico and half the Atlantic and more oil than the Saudis ever dreamed of. California and New York can print their own money. If they want to trade they can use Panama. We WILL protect our borders ,north, south, east, and west. If you're coming to visit Texas bring your US passport with the pre-approved visitor's visa. Eastern WA probably fits in too.

Actually, I love the "Republic of Texas" idea, including the formerly free Canadian provinces listed (now captives of "Central Trudeaustan").

Convince the Democrats that breaking up Oregon would be bad for America's standing in the world, increase inflation, advance slime sexuality and soft-on-crime legislation, do that and the dissident counties will be allowed join Idaho in a heartbeat.

How do we assure these people won't ruin the red states? Virginia used to be red as an apple, now they are blue and woke and liberal. Ever read about Bunker Hill? That battle was to protect the colonists' weaponry. Now look at all the people of Massachusets. They make the people of Cuba look down right reactionary!.

This is the sort of sentiment that arises when the Left organizes vote cheating, in all its many forms. When you know your vote cannot change the corruption of your government, no matter how many there are who agree with you, you look for alternatives.

Salem hasn't listened to the concerns of Eastern Oregon for at least 40 years. The reason why we are democrat led in a mostly red state is because of the vote by mail scam installed back in 1986. It will serve democrats right if the state cleaves into smaller parts which join with other states.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Tuesday failed to slow down the House Republican push for new oil and gas leases on federal land, after GOP lawmakers shot down her attempt to require further study of the public health impacts of energy extraction. The House National Resources Committee met Tuesday to adopt its work plan for the new Congress. Included in that plan is language that says the Biden administration has leased fewer federal acres for oil and gas development than "any presidential administration" since the end of World War II.

President Joe Biden's State of the Union address Tuesday night is widely expected to double as a kickoff to his 2024 reelection campaign. It's being called a "soft launch" because Biden will not actually announce his candidacy but will instead make it unmistakably clear that he is running. The striking thing about a Biden 2024 campaign is that it is a race few people want him to run. A new Washington Post-ABC News poll found that just 31% of Democrats want Biden to be the party's nominee in 2024.

How did the State of the Union — which owes its origin to a one-liner in the Constitution instructing the president to “from time to time give to the Congress Information of the state of the Union,” become an annual political carnival that requires an UltraMax security cordon to be cast over the Capitol Building, swallows hours of live TV coverage on a half dozen networks, and goads reams of pre- and post-analysis out of the typing press — become such an all-consuming gala? The Constitution’s authors didn’t think the SOTU was essential, giving presidents the wide instruction that they must only address remarks to Congress “from time to time.”

Real Time' host Bill Maher likened today's "woke revolution" to the Chinese Cultural Revolution and spoke about how we have embraced the "re-education" policies under Chairman Mao in a monologue on Friday's broadcast of his HBO show. "If you're part of today's woke revolution, you need to study the part of revolutions where they spin out of control because the revolutionaries get so drunk on their own purifying elixir, they imagine they can reinvent the very nature of human beings," Maher said. "Yesterday, I asked ChatGPT, 'Are there any similarities between today's woke revolution and Chairman Mao's Cultural Revolution of the 1960s' and it wrote back, 'How long do you have?'"

Post-mortems of the midterms concluded that the GOP underperformed in 2022. It’s difficult to argue that we didn’t. But at the end of the day, after the ritual finger-pointing and recriminations from the D.C. consultant class, the real question is: Did we learn enough to avoid a sequel in 2024? 2022 taught us some clear lessons: We need to build a ballot harvesting machine; we have to fix the massive cash gap; and we must execute a more effective message strategy.

One of the strangest things about the American response to Ukraine has been the willingness of the Left and the establishment Right to discount completely that the war is heading toward a rendezvous with ever-deadlier weapons and staggering fatalities—even as we witness increasing nuclear threats from a weakened and adrift Vladimir Putin. They insist that Putin is merely saber-rattling. And he might be. Supposedly, in his diminished and discredited state, Putin would not dare to set off a tactical nuclear weapon (as if diminished and discredited leaders are not more likely to do so).

“I declare herewith once more and most emphatically that the guilt of the German people in this war — into which they were forced by you — consists solely in trying to end the eternal difficulties to their national existence, which you artfully instigated and continued.” Hermann Göring wrote these words to Winston Churchill just a few days before his death sentence for crimes against humanity was to be executed. The court at Nuremberg had seen the cold, hard evidence of his crimes as Hitler’s No. 2 man. A salient example was his orchestration of Kristallnacht, the gigantic, nationwide pogrom that resulted in the burning and smashing of synagogues and Jewish

The most powerful military ever assembled by humans was thwarted this week. By a balloon. Specifically, a large spy balloon dispatched by the Chinese Communist Party. A Chinese Communist Party balloon — hereafter known as the “Party balloon.” It will forever be remembered as the Party balloon that defeated President Joe Biden. And the greatest military in the history of human civilization. The country that stood steel-spined through D-Day, the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Cold War folded like a cheap suit under the threat of a Party balloon made in China. No wonder Mr. Biden’s military leaders would rather fight battles over pronouns, “white rage,” and gender studies.

Iran's crude oil exports have been surging in recent months on the back of higher shipments to countries like China, according to data from companies that track the flows. Analytics firms like Vortexa, TankerTrackers and Kpler estimate an increase in Iranian crude and condensate exports over the past three months, averaging around 1 million barrels per day. The numbers are far below the over 2.5 million barrels per day the Persian Gulf nation was exporting in early 2018 — before the Trump administration withdrew the US from the international nuclear deal with Tehran and imposed unilateral sanctions — but they are much higher than those at times during 2020

Any Democrat who thinks the party’s better-than-expected November midterm-election outcome was an affirmation of President Biden and the Democratic Congress policies and accomplishments will have a rude awakening reading the just-released NBC News poll. Conversely, any Republicans seeking support for their agenda would be equally hard-pressed to find it in the poll. Americans continue to be deeply pessimistic about how things are going in the country. Just 23 percent of adults nationwide say the country was headed in the right direction, while 71 percent say it is on the wrong track. Richard Wirthlin, President Reagan’s pollster, used to call this question “the Dow Jones indicator of American politics.”

I really miss Rush. Regardless how complex or critical the issue, I could always count on Rush Limbaugh’s entirely rational and moral analysis, delivered by an apex professional with genuine compassion, even for those with whom he disagreed. He was ensconced behind that golden EIB microphone; a master of ideas and argument. From his lofty height, he engaged with every thorny problem with an equanimity that drew a placid sagacity from an ocean of experience, and confidence. After all, Rush was “documented almost always right 99.7% of the time.” He was a compass that always pointed the precise bearing to truth. He was the constitutionalists’ loadstar.

Somehow, the weirdest thing that happened at the State of the Union was not Joe Biden proclaiming that he’ll veto any legislation that raises the cost of “frisizhnjubs,” a line I’m still trying to figure out.
