Sam Bankman-Fried's ex-girlfriend has confessed that she knowingly engaged in 'illegal' business tactics with the disgraced FTX founder in bombshell court testimony given as part of a plea deal with authorities. Caroline Ellison, 28, Bankman-Fried's former on-off lover, told a New York court that she ran Bankman-Fried's investment company, Alameda Research, and essentially had access to an 'unlimited' amount of FTX client money. Ellison, who has pleaded guilty to fraud charges, said she agreed with Bankman-Fried to give 'materially misleading financial statements' in order hide the arrangement - which she knew was illegal.

She did not say "illegal." She said "wrong." There's a BIG difference in courts of law. But she made statements of fact that admit she, SBF and others committed federal felonies that could get these people a life sentence in prison. I'm most interested in the DC politicians who took $millions from SBF. As this money was embezzled, it should be clawed back, but we'll see.

That photo of SBF and Caroline Ellison posing with other FTX staffers whose faces are hidden is rather strange. They all have the same mop on their head for hair like SBF does. Also, wondering Caroline Ellison is related to uber-rich guy, Larry Ellison, who bought the Hawaiian island of Lanai for a cool $300 million ten or so years ago.

Most believe Americans have forgotten the “real meaning” of Christmas, a recent Ipsos poll released ahead of the holiday found. Three-quarters at least somewhat agree that Americans have forgotten the “real meaning” of Christmas, and of those, 42 percent “strongly” agree.  Even more Christians, 84 percent, agree that Americans have lost the true meaning of Christmas, and most Republicans and Democrats, 88 percent and 66 percent, respectively, agree as well.  Further, even non-religious Americans agree that Americans have forgotten the real meaning of Christmas. Notably, the survey did not ask respondents to identify what they consider the “true meaning” of Christmas to be.

President Joe Biden’s administration reportedly failed to send National Guard troops their final paycheck of the year during the week of Christmas, according to a letter sent to troops obtained by The Post Millennial. The National Guard troops’ paychecks were disrupted due to congressional drama surrounding the $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill that Congress recently approved. After weeks of negotiation, Congress came to a deal on the omnibus spending package. Included in the spending bill is, among other things, a $45 billion aid package for Ukraine. The $45 billion is on top of the $66 billion taxpayer dollars that have already been used to fund Ukrainian aid.

On Tuesday, the Democrat-led House Means and Ways Committee voted along party lines to release Trump’s tax returns. Within hours, it published data from Trump’s 2015-2020 returns. The Committee obtained the documents through an appeals court ruling that ordered Trump to turn them over following a years-long legal battle.
