Republican Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell attacked former President Donald Trump over the losses the GOP sustained during the 2022 midterm elections. The Senate GOP leader defended his decision to refuse to fund some GOP candidates in competitive races to NBC News Wednesday. McConnell said that Trump’s influence during the GOP primaries is to blame for their losses during the midterms and vowed to “actively look for quality candidates” in 2024 as he’s “less inclined to accept cards that may be dealt to us,” NBC reported. The actual problem is the McNothing Burgers (McConnell, McCarthy, Romney McDaniel) who have no political clout between them. They have earned zero credibility among Republican voters. So Trump is to blame for overwhelmingly likely stolen elections in AZ, PA, GA, and NV? Have the McNothings addressed those losses for the means by which they lost? Nope, never will. McConnell is more than happy to lose races with quality candidates to cerebral wastrels like Kelly, Fetterman and Warnock, as long as the foreign kickbacks keep rolling in.
McConnell is nothing more than a whiny, boring, compromised, useful idiot for the Democrats agenda, whose lifetime sole good deed in the Senate was to keep the unqualified partisan hack Merrick Garland off the SCOTUS. That goodwill ship sailed long ago, considering the damage McConnell has done to America since then, and continues to do. Considering that his quality candidates are the Romneys and Murkowskis of the world says everything one needs to know about the kind of Senator required for his "leadership": go along, get along, capitulate.
This worthless little man can blame Trump all he wants on Commie news stations. We know better.

This guy has no shame. He refuses to acknowledge Trumps record of people he has backed getting nominated and elected. His batting average is far from perfect, yet it's impressive. The seats some of Trump's preferred candidates were lost due to McConnell's "defunding" actions. This guy needs to be challenged for leadership!

So, it takes gall to blame Trump for their failures.

Perfect democrat projection from a sleazy D C rino politician that couldn't carry President Trumps golf shoes. Trumps entire life is dealing with he cards he was dealt. Straight forward and honestly. If we have learned anything about the 6 years going on 7 very public anal exams into President Trumps public AND private life is his honesty almost to the point of being naive. Even his business foes have said once the deal is struck with the Trump organization it was a done deal. But filthy sleazy politicians gotta do their sleazy back stabbing.

The Senate losses are squarely on McConnell, as the Republican leader in the Senate. He spent more time and money propping up Lisa Murkowski over another Republican than he did in supporting candidates in contested elections against Democrats.

Think of the progress that Trump could have had if SFB McConnell had backed Trump instead of fighting him every step of the way when Republicans had the House, Senate, and White House. McConnell is happiest when the Republicans are out of power, but he's in charge of the minority. He still gets all the perks without having to do anything.

There are not enough negative words to describe this unethical, characterless, lying traitor. He worked overtly and covertly to defeat a number of senate candidates because he knew they wouldn't cow tow to him if elected. Yet he has the nerve to blame Trump for the losses. Every senator who voted to keep him as minority leader should be primaried and removed from office as they are no better that McConnell is.

The difference between McConnell and Trump is that McConnell is a career “insider” DC establishment Republican and “UniParty” politician who will bend over backwards to cave to the Democrats at every turn to facilitate a few crumbs going to his favorite political supporters. With the political “outsider” Trump it is the exact opposite. The Republican Party will be lucky to survive until McConnell departs the DC “UniParty” political scene.

I guess Turtle expects that we have forgotten the joint press statement he and Paul Ryan gave several days before Trump was even elected? I remember it very well, I believe it happened on or near October 28th before Trump was even elected. Those two traitors both said they were not going to give a blank check to the incoming president whoever it might be, and this is the only promise they ever kept. Both of them fought tooth and nail against Trump for 4 years, because it was in THEIR interests to do so, not the nation's.
