Republican Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell attacked former President Donald Trump over the losses the GOP sustained during the 2022 midterm elections. The Senate GOP leader defended his decision to refuse to fund some GOP candidates in competitive races to NBC News Wednesday. McConnell said that Trump’s influence during the GOP primaries is to blame for their losses during the midterms and vowed to “actively look for quality candidates” in 2024 as he’s “less inclined to accept cards that may be dealt to us,” NBC reported.  CORRECTION*

The actual problem is the McNothing Burgers (McConnell, McCarthy, Romney McDaniel) who have no political clout between them. They have earned zero credibility among Republican voters. So Trump is to blame for overwhelmingly likely stolen elections in AZ, PA, GA, and NV? Have the McNothings addressed those losses for the means by which they lost? Nope, never will. McConnell is more than happy to lose races with quality candidates to cerebral wastrels like Kelly, Fetterman and Warnock, as long as the foreign kickbacks keep rolling in. McConnell is nothing more than a whiny, boring, compromised, useful idiot for the Democrats agenda, whose lifetime sole good deed in the Senate was to keep the unqualified partisan hack Merrick Garland off the SCOTUS. That goodwill ship sailed long ago, considering the damage McConnell has done to America since then, and continues to do. Considering that his quality candidates are the Romneys and Murkowskis of the world says everything one needs to know about the kind of Senator required for his "leadership": go along, get along, capitulate. This worthless little man can blame Trump all he wants on Commie news stations. We know better.

This guy has no shame. He refuses to acknowledge Trumps record of people he has backed getting nominated and elected. His batting average is far from perfect, yet it's impressive. The seats some of Trump's preferred candidates were lost due to McConnell's "defunding" actions. This guy needs to be challenged for leadership!

Think of the progress that Trump could have had if SFB McConnell had backed Trump instead of fighting him every step of the way when Republicans had the House, Senate, and White House. McConnell is happiest when the Republicans are out of power, but he's in charge of the minority. He still gets all the perks without having to do anything.

The difference between McConnell and Trump is that McConnell is a career “insider” DC establishment Republican and “UniParty” politician who will bend over backwards to cave to the Democrats at every turn to facilitate a few crumbs going to his favorite political supporters. With the political “outsider” Trump it is the exact opposite. The Republican Party will be lucky to survive until McConnell departs the DC “UniParty” political scene.

When fall comes around, everyone starts thinking about Christmas. People are getting their shopping lists ready and picking up items for their parties. For kids, this is the perfect opportunity to show off how good they’ve been during the year. Unfortunately, Christmas can also bring some very sad and tragic episodes. We’re not talking about getting the wrong size of clothes or the wrong video game system, either. Many times, people encounter terrible family situations, illness, or death. Anyone who watches the news will hear about something horrific happening during the holiday. Having to deal with a terrible scenario is something no one expects during such a joyous season.

The holidays are often a time of indulgence and guests at Disneyland that scoff at the $185 price tag for a tiny shot of booze may be shocked to learn they’re getting a real steal. Disneyland’s The Grand Californian Hotel & Spa has an annual holiday cart that offers spirit-infused drinks that carry a festive theme, according to SFGate. This year’s dessert shot is a “waffle shot”- a wafer-lined treat priced at $185 when combined with Remy Martin Louis XIII Grande Champagne Cognac. While this may seem to be an exorbitant price tag, guests can rest assured knowing this price reflects market value, and a standard 1.5-ounce pour of Louis XIII

A new lawsuit has been filed in the ongoing feud over the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial election, as Secretary of State (and incoming Governor) Katie Hobbs joins the Maricopa County board of elections in taking gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake to court over her claims and previous lawsuits. According to the suit, Maricopa County contends that “Before a single vote was counted in the 2022 general election, Kari Lake publicly stated that she would accept the results of the gubernatorial election only if she were the winning candidate” but that “she has not simply failed to publicly acknowledge the election results.” Instead, the suit accuses Lake of filing “a groundless, seventy-page

Forecasters in Florida are warning of falling iguanas as an Arctic cold front sweeping across the US will likely bring a “hard freeze” to parts of the Sunshine State on Christmas weekend. Temperatures in Northeast Florida may dip into the low 20s inland and near 30 along the coast, the National Weather Service in Jacksonville said Monday. The cold-blooded lizards start to get sluggish when temperatures fall below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. As temperatures drop lower, iguanas become stiff, with those perching in trees often falling to the ground. While the low temperatures stun the invasive reptiles, the iguanas won’t necessarily die. That means many will wake up as temperatures rise.
