“Let me tell you, you take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you.” –Sen. Charles Schumer, January 2017 Chuck Schumer said the above quote shortly after President-elect Donald Trump criticized and mocked his “intelligence” briefers for being unprepared and for delaying a scheduled briefing on Russia for several days. Given the FBI and CIA social media shenanigans that have recently come to light through the Twitter files that new owner Elon Musk has allowed to be released, it appears that Trump’s instincts regarding the “intelligence community” were correct.

Pretty much true of every federal agency. Adding Merrick Garland's name at the end was icing on the cake.

Why would anyone expect that the likes of Comey, Brennan, Clapper, et al would ever tell the truth to congress?

Every single electronic communication....including this one, is permanently recorded and archived at the NSA's data storage facility. And they use OUR MONEY to fund this spying on all Americans. And they abuse it endlessly. Never, ever say or type anything on ANY device that you would be unhappy to have read to a judge or jury in court. And never say anything that you'd not want made public near any working electronic device, especially those 'self-buggers' known as phones. And "turning them off" does not guarantee that they are actually off, or can't be turned on remotely. And know for certain that the FBI and CIA are criminal enterprises, bent on the enslavement of all Americans. Never trust anything that they say.

Rob Schneider’s rousing defense of America 7 replies

Many Americans remember Rob Schneider from his time on Saturday Night Live in the late 1980s through the early 1990s, when he created several amusing characters. After leaving SNL, he’s had a decent Hollywood career, although he hasn’t had the fame his pal Adam Sandler has enjoyed. I hope, though, that Schneider will be remembered for something else. In a Twitter thread, he expressed his love for America and her constitutional values, especially when arrayed against the mindless emotionalism and techno-fascism that now threatens those values.
Why reparations now? 20 replies

The absurdity of the concept of reparations for slavery, an institution that ended several generations ago, is beyond mind-boggling. But there’s a blatantly cynical reason for the sudden lurch in that direction: formerly reliable Black voters are now slipping away from the Democrats. This also explains Biden’s recently expressed profuse generosity towards the nations of sub-Saharan Africa. What is also painfully obvious is the lame, demagogic pandering that is the Democrats’ knee-jerk response, especially to a defecting constituency: just throw money at them and that’ll keep ‘em on the reservation.

A New York Federal court on Monday released more documents regarding Ghislaine Maxwell’s defamation lawsuit filed by Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre. Most of the documents as you would expect were heavily redacted when it comes to revealing names of the wealthy elite who were Epstein’s associates but what did come to light was a deposition by Epstein victim Sarah Ransome. In Ransome’s deposition she claimed that Epstein did make blackmail sex tapes of his elite friends and would go on to state she even has copies of the tapes.

WNBA player Brittney Griner finally broke her silence after being brought home from Russia in exchange for Viktor "Merchant of Death" Bout in an Instagram post on Friday. "It feels so good to be home! The last 10 months have been a battle at every turn," Griner said. "I dug deep to keep my faith and it was the love from so many of you that helped keep me going. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone for your help." Griner — whose swap came after the Biden administration apparently botched its first attempt at a deal with the Kremlin

When warning Americans that freedom is in danger if political views that do not agree with theirs are not silenced, both Barack and Michelle Obama love to throw around the term "democracy." The Obama belief that opposing free speech somehow protects "democracy" proves that neither one understands the basic tenet of what they profess needs protecting. In Obama circles, rebuke, rejection, or refutation does not sit well. These two hypersensitive narcissists thrive on things like public adoration and unswerving agreement.

Can someone hit the brakes? We’re on a runaway train traveling at high speed, approaching a bend, and destined to careen off the tracks unless a brave soul tells the Republican Party to torpedo this heinous immigration deal that’s being mulled up on the Hill. I never thought I’d see the day when some Republicans would willingly back a mass amnesty bill and be blind to the fact that the only people who gain to benefit from this push, both in the immediate and long term, are Democrats. In the words of Ellen Ripley, “nuke the entire site from orbit” when it comes to this bill

What's comforting about the Twitter Files is the satisfaction of knowing the exact connections between the wokey useful idiots at Twitter and their Deep State masters. It's easy to think of the social-media big boys as cunning and malevolent monsters, but if they are anything like the world of SBF and FTX, it seems to me that they are shallow fools -- naifs, silly wokey putty in the hands of the regime security police. I just can't take a woman like Vijaya Gadde seriously. Or a man like Yoel Roth. Maybe that's the point of today's woke education system.

The unabashed political persecution and unconscionable years of pre-trial incarceration for some January 6th protestors in direct violation of the Sixth Amendment. The near-psychotic obsession to indict and convict Donald Trump of any specious federal crime. The admission by the FBI that they instructed social media companies prior to the 2020 election to censor stories unfavorable to Joe Biden. These actions, among many others over the years, have confirmed that the Department of Justice is teeming with politicized prosecutors and a federal police force that is allied with one political party and is browbeating the citizenry on their behalf.

In a shocking development, Twitter was censoring conservatives. I am, of course, being sarcastic because everyone knew it, though some denied it. Now we have Twitter itself, under new management, giving a peek into just how deeply the deception ran. Allow me to bring some much-needed salt and reality to this conversation and point out how everyone seems to be missing the point, some deliberately, others not. First – and again, forgive me – who cares about what we’ve seen released so far? I truly do believe in conservative principles which dictate a private company can do pretty much whatever it wants. They should, however, be honest about it.

Per RedState’s Sunday evening reporting, Elon Musk put out a poll asking if he should step down from Twitter, promising to abide by the result. Well, the result is now in, and a majority believe the newsmaking billionaire should go focus more on Tesla and SpaceX. (Tweet) 61 percent say Musk should “step down as head of Twitter.” That’s not surprising given that Twitter has always been a majority left-wing site. When talking about a poll that got that much play, there was no chance the result would be anything different. In response, some are claiming Musk made a mistake, effectively “owning” himself in the process.

The January 6 committee on Monday referred former president Donald Trump to the Department of Justice for prosecution on four charges related to his conduct leading up to and during the riot that occurred in the Capitol in the wake of his defeat in the 2020 presidential election. The referrals include obstruction of an official proceeding, conspiracy to defraud the U.S., making a false statement, and inciting an insurrection, the last of which could disqualify Trump from holding public office in the future. Trump attempted to “disrupt the peaceful transition of power” in a grave betrayal of duty as outlined in the “take care” clause of the Constitution and in a “crime

There is an endless list of factors students consider while choosing a college: size, cost, campus life, proximity to home. But since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in June — removing nearly 50 years of federal protections for abortions and giving states the right to make the procedure illegal within their jurisdictions — abortion access has become an increasingly influential consideration in students’ college decisions. Of those planning to enroll in an undergraduate program sometime in the next 12 months, 39% said that the court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade will affect their decision to attend

Most Americans know something has gone terribly wrong—and very abruptly—with the United States. They are certain that our wounds are almost all self-inflicted. The current pathologies are not a result of a natural disaster, an exhaustion of natural resources, plagues, or an existential war. Crushing national debt and annual deficits, spiraling food and fuel costs amid “normal” seven-percent-plus annual inflation, bread-and-circuses entitlements, a nonexistent border, a resurgence of racial tribalism, pandemic violent criminality, and humiliation abroad—all these pathologies are easily cited as symptoms of a sick patient. Our crises are not as the Left maintains

Fearing a huge winter upswing in the number of COVID and flu cases, government officials are once again calling on Americans to don their masks to keep the deadly viruses from spreading. But some take it a step further, suggesting even children 5 and under should put on masks. The latest I&I/TIPP Poll asks: Is that a good idea? The answer, probably not surprisingly to anyone, appears to depend heavily on a variety of factors, including where you live, your race, your gender and your political leanings. So, at the very least, we’re likely in for another politicized debate over the practice of masking, this time for the youngest among us.

NEW YORK -- There are new fears that New York City could be hit with a surge of migrants. This week, Title 42, a policy that has kept many asylum seekers from entering the country, is set to expire. Mayor Eric Adams is warning that there could be upwards of 1,000 migrants bused into the city each and every week, if the policy is allowed to expire. It's not clear how he arrived at that number, but it is clear that there is concern the system could be overwhelmed. The U.S.-Mexico border has been packed with migrants desperate to get in.

Hollywood put more abortion plotlines in its TV shows in 2022 than in any of the past five years, as the studios and networks ratcheted up the outrage machine following the Supreme Court’s reversal of Roe v. There were at least 60 abortion plotlines or mentions of abortion in 52 distinct TV shows from January to December 2022 — more than any other year since 2016, according to the annual “Abortion Onscreen” report from the pro-abortion organization Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health. That outnumbers the 47 abortion plotlines in 42 shows in 2021, the report said.
