Can someone hit the brakes? We’re on a runaway train traveling at high speed, approaching a bend, and destined to careen off the tracks unless a brave soul tells the Republican Party to torpedo this heinous immigration deal that’s being mulled up on the Hill.
I never thought I’d see the day when some Republicans would willingly back a mass amnesty bill and be blind to the fact that the only people who gain to benefit from this push, both in the immediate and long term, are Democrats. In the words of Ellen Ripley, “nuke the entire site from orbit” when it comes to this bill

When past amnesty bills were being formulated and passed with wimpy Republican support, the aggressive Democrats always went along with some immigration enforcement provisions that were designed to go into force after the Democrat amnesty provisions went into force and became irreversible. Following that, the Democrats sabotaged the enforcement provisions in the courts, through further legislation, through useless federal administrative rules, and by executive inaction. That’s a big reason why the country finds itself today with over twenty million illegal aliens awaiting another Democrat designed amnesty. Any wimpy Republicans who cave or support this Democrat designed “path to citizenship” amnesty should be dumped through the next Republican State primary election process and not be re-elected in 2024. Especially since it is clear that the Democrats are now using their “open borders” and “catch and release” to create many millions of poor, uneducated, and easily manipulated amnestied foreign born future Democrat supporters and voters through their “path to citizenship” amnesty processes with the ultimate objective of sending the wimpy Republicans into political oblivion.

Another example of the fact that Republicans and Democrats are two sides of the same coin! Congress is completely corrupt and out of control! We are $31 trillion dollars in debt thanks to these irresponsible politicians! Term limits are absolutely imperative!

Given the current crop, instead of 'term limits', how about 'termination' ??
Too strong ??

Those who believe the brochure and sales promotional material of the GOP have not read the fine print: “we make no warranties or guarantees of the promises we make to get elected. In fact this is simply free speech designed with the sole purpose of getting your vote. Once elected you no longer exist to us with the only exception being to solicit from you donations. Our sole allegiance is to the the Party to maintain our positions of wealth and power. We believe in and support the “deep state” with the goal being looked upon as favored representatives aiding the aims and goals of the deep state and global organizations. You as citizens of the United States are merely a means to an end. You as voters have no say at the table and as of recently you are losing any say at the voting booth. We simply say what you wish to hear to give you the illusion that your vote and voice matters in order to keep civil unrest at bay or only used to strengthen ourselves and objectives. “ Until people realize that we no longer have a representative government nor are we represented in government these actions will continue.

Earth to Matt Vespa - The republicans have already given us registered republicans many, many reasons not to vote for them in the last 40 years and especially how they once again let their butt buddies in the communist death democrat party steal the 2022 elections.
I will remain a registered republican only so I can have some sort of voice in the local and state elections (Florida) but forget about the Federal elections.
Bunch of treacherous, traitorous pond scum.

I repeat what I have posted many times, There is no difference between the R's and the dims in DC. They are nothing but arrogant moneygrubbers out to fill their pockets as fast as possible. And maybe bring in family, friends, and associates. I think I hate the R's more because they lie about what they are while the dims are honest crooks.

The author has just discovered there is no such thing as the Republican Party. They're all Uniparty. Which is the same thing as Democrat or Marxist. All interchangeable.
Republican is just a name, means nothing. How much longer will the rank n file be fooled by these traitors?
Vote conservative, stop voting Republican/Marxist/Uniparty/Democrat.

Loved what Rush use to say. "Give them amnesty with the stipulation they can't vote for 25 years. Then you would see the Democrats become anti immigration immediately."

The greatest political tragedy of all - - is that we are about to lose our greatest leader - - the one elected Pubbie whom we could rely on to tirelessly battle our hated enemies - - the communist demonrats.
Yes - - we are about to lose this site's favorite battler - - the one man we could always count on - - Fightin' Roy Blunt!
This is a tragedy of the greatest order. Who will replace Fightin' Roy? We are doomed without him!

It doesn't matter #13, if the calls crash his switchboard or not! Thom Tillis never listens to his constituents, he just does what he wants to! Representative is NOT what Tillis is! He is a classic RINO in every detail!!

Not only this bill but how about marriage equality law that Republicans supported. Gee, I wonder if Sen Romney was in attendance at the drag queen show yesterday at the White House. He of so much character that a mere mortal like Donald Trump offends him....

The illegal border crossing is my number one issue. If there is another amnesty, I will no longer vote Republican. I'm seeing more and more illegals in Indiana where I live. When I encounter them at a business, I cross that business off my list and never go back.

If the USA were to pass a constitutional amendment to the effect that all foreign origin people, also known as illegal aliens and migrants who entered the USA unlawfully are permanently barred from attaining U.S. citizenship or ever being qualified to vote in US elections, the leftist, progressive and socialist Democrats would drop their support for mass uncontrolled illegal immigration from their political agenda overnight and the problem would resolve itself once the borderline was brought back under U.S. Government control.

The only thing that saved the nation when Dubya was King and McCain the Senate jester herding their brand of amnesty was Rush, who mobilized his audience to bombard the Senate with calls and emails. Alas, there is no Rush today, and no one with similar reach or appeal.

The DACA amnesty issue was on its way to being addressed once Donald Trump had secured our borders and required illegals to wait for PERMISSION to enter the US. But when Biden "won" the election, he invited every illegal alien on the planet to come to the US "to be heard." The DACA mess might have been resolved by Donald Trump, but the the dictates of Joe Biden have made Americans less safe, and far less trusting of their politicians.
Tillis needs to remember his actual constituents are American citizens, not DACA recipients, and not the millions of Bidens "invitees" rushing to collect the "benefits" (including free health care) Biden expects them to pay for.

Because the Republican branch of the Uniparty know just as well as the Democrat branch that it doesn't matter who votes for them, it is who / what tallies the ballots. The peasants are nothing more than an annoyance that they have to deal with occasionally.

My personal opinion is that the Republican Party doesn’t care what conservatives think, care about, or say. In fact most of them are democrats anyway.
