Apple’s threat to remove Twitter from its App store for the crime of being a slightly more open forum for free speech under Elon Musk has been met with a chorus of outrage and substantive threats of congressional action by Republican leaders.
Just kidding. Republicans have barely said anything about it, and establishment Republicans have said nothing at all. With the exception of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who offered his opinion on a matter outside his purview as a governor, Apple’s threat to crush Twitter has been met more or less with silence, even from members of the GOP who consider themselves conservative.

See new article just above. Just published, just posted. Sounds as though Musk worked it out… May write his own “Art of the Deal"?

Just from the title, this is some kind of "fantasy" article.

Mitch "MultiUseless" McConnell doesn't even have a spine. Yes, when his Senate term finishes January, 2027 he'll celebrate his 85th Birthday the following month.

So far Kevin McCarthy is proving to be as passive as many feared. I know that he is not yet Speaker but there is no reason why he should be silent on Apple's collusion with China and its hint to essentially de-platform Twitter. So far only a few senators have rebuked Apple. They continue to wonder why they can't attract voters and keep doing the same old same old.

"A GOP with backbone" is contrary to all historical evidence. Maybe once, when the Republican Party was formed to fight slavery, but not recently.

The Headline wouldn't be so appealing to the anti-GOP faction if it had led with, "80 million Right-of-Center Americans with Backbone Would Openly Support Elon Musk by Publicly Smashing Their Phones, Thus Demonstrating Willingness to Fight for Free Speech." That might call for a little introspection and less blame passed on to the politicians they elected; besides, why should anyone get rid of their sought-after i-Phones, iPads, MacBooks, and assorted electronic paraphernalia, when it is so much easier and much more fashionable to blame Republicans?

#9 has it right.
A “spine” implies interest in the American people, of which the GOP wing of the Uniparty has none.

3 names and lots of outrage. Looks like all your writing is pretty moot, pal. Embarrassing. Mollie and Harsanyi and little else on The Fed.

#3, Mitch is ruthless when it comes to MAGA. This man and his wife are part of the CCP and don't forget it. Now that they can review Trump's tax returns, let's have a look and Mitch and family.

Remember that scene from Goodfellas where Joe Pesci, Ray Liotta and company are laughing at a joke the former was telling and then he asked Liotta do I amuse you and make you laugh? That's me and my Conservative friend when we read this headline. A GOP with a backbone? Amusing and funny.

I'm starting to like this guy more each day...musk is sticking it to the establishment dudes and smiling all the way...I might consider joining tweeter...although I'm enjoying Truth Social very much...since the wokies are checking every post on Truth Social...I've been effective in hiding my responses from the behavioral psychologists in the White House war room...were they monitor the "pulse" of the electorate...so they can report to the cabal....the tattle/tale professional social media misfits are trying to break our spirit...MAGA

the way to help Elon right now is buy some advertising for your twitter feed. And who cares if it even works. .... Though actually it did work, I am paying in effect for one pepsi a day, and my follower count keeps going up. I am on a bizarre and tiny topic but twitter keeps finding me people who are interested.... Anyway I think I am helping Elon.

Term limits , no lobbying allowed , and no taking money from foreign entities would be a start in stopping the sell outs in Washington!
