A federal judge ruled on Monday that Devin Nunes, an ally of former President Donald Trump and former California congressman, can sue NBC Universal for defamation. Devin Nunes filed a defamation lawsuit against NBC Universal in 2021 over a comment made by MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow about his alleged relationship with a Russian agent. As Breitbart News reported last year: [Maddow claimed] Nunes received a package from a Russia-connected Ukrainian under sanctions from the United States, a man named Andriy Derkach, and inaccurately [claimed] Nunes hid this from the FBI.

Far left protesters were met by riot police at the University of New Mexico Wednesday night after they appeared at an event for Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. Kirk was holding a speaking engagement with the conservative organization's chapter at the school when protesters - some masked, many screaming obscenities - came out in full force.  Some were yelling out: 'F--k Charlie Kirk!' and 'F**k Erica' in reference to the local chapter president, Erica Rodriguez.

Elon Musk has announced that a wireless device developed by his brain chip company Neuralink is expected to begin human clinical trials in six months, and one of its first targeted applications is restoring vision.  The new Twitter CEO held a 'Show and Tell' event on Wednesday where he spoke about how the brain chip interfaces could enable disabled patients to move and communicate again. 'It's like replacing a piece of the skull with a smartwatch,' he said.  The first two human applications targeted by the Neuralink device will be in restoring vision and enabling movement of muscles in people who cannot do so, Musk said.

Georgia Lt. Gov Geoff Duncan (R) said Wednesday on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” that after waiting in line for an hour, he declined to vote in the runoff election between Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) and Georgia Republican Senate nominee Herschel Walker. He said neither Senate candidate “made sense.” Duncan said, “Well, there’s a serious imbalance of energy right now. The Warnock campaign seems to be gaining seem and momentum. And every time you turn on the TV, there’s an ad running. It’s not necessarily the Walker side. I think you mentioned there was a brief five-day period where he was absent from the campaign trail.

Washington’s Evergreen Public Schools (EPS) banned and then quickly unbanned the playing of Christmas music on school buses. The district, located in Vancouver, Washington, sent out the memo, which was addressed to “All School Bus Drivers.” The memo, obtained by Breitbart News, was titled “Christmas Music with Students on Board.” It read, “Please refrain from playing Christmas music while students of any grade level are on your school bus.” (Copy of Memo) The memo, dated November 28th, 2022, went on to say, “We want our students who do not celebrate” to “feel safe and comfortable on the bus and those who do have opportunities outside of school to sing their songs.”

A day before the full pomp of a state banquet, the Bidens ducked out of the White House for an informal dinner with the French president and his wife at a Washington restaurant.  They picked Fiola Mare, an Italian spot on the Georgetown waterfront, for the rendezvous. On Thursday night, President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte will be afforded the first state dinner of the Bidens' time at the White House - complete with 200 lobsters and Napa Valley wine. Macron is getting the full works, starting Wednesday with a visit to Arlington National Cemetery, then discussing space cooperation with Vice President at NASA headquarters in Washington.

The Biden administration announced it will pay $75 million to relocate three Native American tribes whose communities are being impacted by climate change. The Interior Department's relocation grants, announced at the White House Tribal Nations Summit on Wednesday, will provide $25 million each to Washington State's Quinault Indian Nation, Alaska's Newtok Village and Alaska's Native Village of Napakiak. The Quinault Indian Nation is located on the Quinault River at the Pacific Ocean in Washington state, where the tribal community has been impacted by rising sea levels, storm surges and flooding, in addition to risks from tsunamis caused by earthquakes.

While speaking at the White House Tribal Nations Summit on Wednesday, President Joe Biden hinted that he may not be running in 2024. This potentially truthful comment comes as a surprise considering the president has tried indicating in the past that he intends on running in the upcoming presidential election. As Biden was finishing up his speech an audience member shouted “four more years” at the president. “I don’t know about that,” Biden surprisingly replied. “Thanks — thank you.” WATCH the clip below: (Tweet/Video)

Kennedy, the daughter of President John F. Kennedy who is currently serving as the US Ambassador to Australia, said she experienced 'disrupted travel plans' due to the harsh weather lashing the east coast. That weather, however, appeared to have led to very few cancellations at airports in Boston and in New York, according to FlightAware.

Yet, the company’s disastrous battle with Florida’s Ron DeSantis has him ready to change course. Too many people feel left out of Christmas celebrations due to their own faith – or lack of it – so the traditional Christian season should be downplayed, a UK-based diversity lobby group said. The call comes after statistics showed less than half of the population of England and Wales described themselves as Christian in the 2021 census, meaning Christianity is now a minority religion, as Breitbart News reported. Both atheism and Islam are making major gains as more people reportedly feel left out as a “heavy emphasis on celebrating the birth of Jesus,” can exclude others, according to Watch This Sp_ce, a self-described diversity and inclusion consultancy.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin went off on the “bonehead” Congressional Republicans threatening to derail Rep. Kevin McCarthy’s (R-CA) bid to be the next speaker of the House. Levin used his show on Tuesday to talk about how the Republican Party’s slim majority in the House of Representatives may cause a struggle for McCarthy to get the votes he needs to succeed Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Hard-right members of the Congressional GOP have publicly opposed McCarthy’s bid for the speakership, so the House minority leader is currently trying to bring these factions in line and secure the 218 votes he needs.

House Democrats voted Wednesday to make Rep. Hakeem Jeffries their leader in the next Congress, replacing 82-year-old Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Jeffries won the post in an uncontested election after Pelosi and the two other incumbent members of the Democratic leadership, Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and Majority Whip Jim Clyburn, opted to step down. Jeffries, a 52-year-old New Yorker, will be the first African American to serve as House Democratic leader. "Leadership is incredibly important," said Jeffries. "When we get an opportunity as diverse leaders to serve in positions of consequence, the most meaningful thing we can do in that space is an incredibly good job."

In one of the most appalling appropriations of a political banner in years—or at least since Trump decided in 2012, after years of changing party registrations, finally to settle on calling himself a Republican—some of the conservatives hoping to salvage the GOP’s fortune after the 2022 midterms are trying to seize and redefine the term Never Trump to mean a rejection of “only Trump, and no other Republicans who are like him.”

Yes, your intentionally destructive policies “did so much” harm to everyday American families that “nobody knows the effects” of how bad things will get–and how long it will take to recover after you’ve vamoosed from office, one way or another. Biden, on Tuesday, defended his ill-fated “American Rescue Plan” for the zillionth time by arguing that the (at least) $1.9 trillion spending spree helped enable local governments to keep paying their employees (which does zero to help productivity). He also boasted of his additional trillions in spending for government-subsidized health care, manufacturing, infrastructure, and so-called “green energy.”

Opponents said approving the use of killer robots was like something out of a science fiction movie, and a threat to the poor and to people of color.
