Greta Thunberg Gets (Even More) Radical:
'There Is No Going Back to Normal'

Nineteen-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg is at it again, scolding world leaders, predicting imminent doom for the planet and mankind, and shaming people who use too much energy. This time, however, she’s taking a more radical tone, calling for fundamental change in the way humans lead our lives. On Sunday, while promoting her new tome, “The Climate Book,” a collection of essays by over 100 climate experts at the London Literature Festival at the Southbank Centre, she said: (Snip) Wait, I thought this was a speech about climate change, not a massive condemnation of the entire history of mankind and capitalism. She also says the quiet part out loud

Comments:

The bubbly, joyful teen is a commie. No big surprise, since she was brought up to be a commie by her commie parental units. Well, Rush did say that Green is the new Red. They're the same. As Rev Gary Davis sang, "You take Sally, I'll take Sue. There ain't no difference between the two. Cocaine, running all around my brain." (No, not mine!)

Interestingly, it was not too long ago, during the Paris Accords, when it seemed likely we'd be able to simply curtain some of the emissions, and to use carbon offsets as a means of changing behavior (of course that was simply a tool for some people to get rich trading on the offset market - like Al Gore has). And, remember, the Paris Accord had a date of 2100 to meet the goals and targets, which is still 78 years away. So, why the rush now? Why does it have to be switched quicker, sooner, immediately? Presumably, it's because no country is meeting their goals or targets so they need to frighten people into changing for something that may, or may not, happen in the next 78 years.

But you really have absolutely no power or influence any more. Go get some psychiatric help, find a nice guy, get married, and start actually being happy. Because the more you keep trying to change things that you cannot change -- and that really don't need changing -- the more miserable you are going to be the rest of your life.

Biden’s Rhetoric is a Threat to the Republic 6 replies

The only good thing about this speech is that it didn’t have a color scheme out of V for Vendetta and didn’t feature Marines in the background. Whoever runs these things at least learned from that attempt at looking like Biden was about to declare martial law, suspend habeas corpus and make everyone read Gender Queer and How To Be An Anti-Racist at gunpoint in a gulag. The bad news is no one cared about that speech except conservatives. They care even less about this one. With the countdown underway, voters have made it clear that they care about the economy and crime. Anyone who finds the “threat to democracy”

If there’s one thing our politically and culturally divided world can agree on, it is that we live in interesting times. A sense of crisis has been stalking our once-complacent civilization. This climate of fear was the emotional springboard used by The Great Reset initiative, to justify a call by global stakeholders to redeem the world from the ravages of COVID-19 in 2020, in exchange for submission. ‘Unless you hand over your freedom and gather as one,’ the message implied, ‘pestilence and climate change will destroy you’. While that might seem outrageous, the impetus to enact lockdowns, mandates, behavior rules and speech codes was so great at the time

Maggie Hassan. Bolduc, a Donald Trump-endorsed candidate, was left for dead after winning the primary, with the assumption being that his negatives were too high and that he couldn’t draw support in a blue state. His fundraising was lackluster, and the national groups have been spending their finite resources in more “competitive” states.
