We've all heard of the game "Where's Waldo?" Well, I've got a better question. As we look upon the hordes of federal parasites dedicated public servants, where's Pete? We're seeing the convergence of some dangerous circumstances — a perfect storm, if you will. But it's not a convergence of weather patterns, but problems with the transportation infrastructure. Yet Pete (Buttigieg) is nowhere to be found — at least not anywhere near the problems he's supposed to prevent.
Loaded ships are still waiting off the coast of California because there aren't enough trucks that meet the state's emission standards to unload them —

Mama Pete is a no-load dud firecracker who has done nothing but feed his baby since he was assigned to his position for the sole reason that he is gay and might have an IQ slightly above the average chipmunk. When the transportation FUBAR meets the coming diesel fuel problem, there is going to be screaming and gnashing of teeth. Pete won't notice anything out of the ordinary until his delivery of baby formula is interrupted.

Pete seems to still be trying to figure out what transportation means, other than racist roads.

Pete Butt is more concerned about social justice than transportation. Look at things from that perspective and it explains a lot. He's not doing his job. He probably doesn't have a clue what to do. Replace him with somebody that does. Replace the entire administration! The problem is a recurring one throughout it.

This is intentional destruction of the United States and Western Europe. The immediate consequence will be the death of millions of people as society breaks down. No Fuel means no electricity to keep you warm, no food preserved, no seafood caught, no food shipped. No fertilizer means no crops grown, The list goes on and on. The politicians are not stupid and they know that this will happen. Knowing this will happen means they have a plan. That plan does not include us surviving, and the ones that do survive will forfeit their freedom and soul for a full belly, protection, water and a roof over their heads. This is the work of Not just the POS in the WH and his cohorts along with the Democrats. It is globally created and implemented.

Petie, like everyone else in the Biteme (mis)administration (including Bitme himself) were not chosen for their abilities. They're just checking a box on the Demonrat identity-group roster. It's not about what they can actually DO, but how they feel that matters.

Someone on this site probably knows how many hundreds of thousand of pounds of jet fuel schmoe burns every week to go home for the sole reason that he doesn’t want to stay in the whitehouse. It’s too unpleasant for him, and for him being president means he gets everything he wants.
So much for saving the planet.

You are right # 6 and the Republicans will not be able to stop executive orders. The misconception is that the midterm will bring a change that will end the madness. Not likely. It will only give the Democrats the ability to say in 2024 that all the ills and economic troubles are the fault of the Republicans and the majority of Americans will accept that. The GOP keeps talking about a plan and vision but I have not seen any specifics.

Federal transportation laws trump state laws. It's interstate commerce. The next big thing to halt products from getting to market is the diesel fuel shortage. It won't matter what kind of emission standards are in place if trucks don't have fuel. That includes trains as well.

The House hold the 'power of the purse' , but what #6 says is true as well. If Congress cuts off the $$$ the Dems will blame the
Republicans. The next 2 years will be a painful, epic battle.

Anyone running a truck for their livelyhood, would do well to convert to propane, but that's probably next on the shortage list.

Never fear, Lactating Pete will save us just like he filled the pot holes in South Bend. Nope, real joke. W/o diesel nothing will move. No trains, buses, trucks, etal. Store shelves will look like the old Soviet shelves, empty. Stock up on food while you can. Arm yourself. When people are hungry, roaving gangs will look for food. Protect yourself. A real life purge condition is coming to your neighborhood.

All of this, to stop the temperature from rising. When it hits 110 you simply find shade, drink liquids, and take it easy. You'll survive. When it drops to 5 degrees and you have no heat, there's not much you can do.

I keep my Dodge truck filled to the fuel cap with diesel. While no diesel shortages in western Colorado have developed yet, common sense to have a full tank just in case. Just part of our ongoing prepping effort.

The article also failed to mention the ILWU has not reached a new contract (expired July 1st), and seems to be waiting on the outcome of a lawsuit.
My guess, they've all been waiting until after the election to strike, and make their demands, which will be during a Lame Duck Congress where Democrats will give away the store on their way out the door.

Diesel engines have an exceptionally high thermal efficiency in turning fuel into useful work. So diesel engines power all those container ships, all the locomotives that pull the trains, all the long haul semi-trucks, and almost all delivery trucks.
And an extremely similar fuel is used variously for turbine aircraft, which is all airliners, and a very slight variation of diesel fuel is used as "home heating oil". And smaller towns often have kept their old diesel generator systems that once were their only power generation method before the grid reached every corner of the country as their backup emergency power. And diesel generators are often the backup power systems for hospitals and such places that have need for continuous power.
So.....running the country or the world short on diesel fuel will impact ALL forms of transportation of goods.....ships, trains, trucks or aircraft. ALL run on either diesel fuel or a very close analog which is refined only slightly differently and dosed with slightly different additives.
And the planting and harvesting of all our crops......powered by diesel fuel.
If they manage this one, food production stops. Transportation of EVERYTHING stops. Literally, we will starve in a few weeks o months ithout diesel fuel.
