Let me quote myself from a post published May 8 about the danger of people showing up at the justices’ homes: “[I]n the current political context, a fanatic has more motive to kill one of the Court’s conservatives than just satiating his or her rage. Doing so would provide a strategic benefit to the pro-choice side. Congress should give them all the bodyguards they need, and then some.” When you have reason to believe that five justices have signed onto overturning Roe but the decision hasn’t been handed down yet, that’s an incentive to take one of those votes away by any means necessary. Biden spoke with reporters on his way to California for the Summit of the Americas, even as some of the leaders of prominent Latin American countries refused to attend. The establishment media has grown more skeptical of Biden’s efforts to help reduce inflation, lower gas prices, and solve the baby formula shortage that has plagued his administration.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Tampa Bay Rays fans spoke to Fox News about Gov. Ron DeSantis’ decision to veto $35 million in funding for a new training facility. "We as taxpayers should just worry about bringing lots of … fans to the area and support that," Bonnie, of Bradenton, told Fox News. "The governor has no business in that." After vetoing the funding, DeSantis said Friday that he doesn't "support giving taxpayer dollars to professional sports stadiums" and that "it's inappropriate to subsidize political activism of a private corporation." The Rays had pledged to donate $50,000 to Everytown for Gun Safety in late May following the Uvalde, Texas, shooting.

When Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz is on it, he is on it. Cruz is at his best on Tuesday during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on H.R.350 — The Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2022 — yet another politically expedient bill, ushered through Nancy Pelosi’s House in the aftermath of the Buffalo supermarket mass shooting in early May. As Cruz begins his comments, he lays out three basic propositions on which, he said, Republicans and Democrats alike should be able to agree. There are 3 propositions that should bring Senate Democrats and Republicans together: 1: Violent crime is unacceptable and should be punished severely. 2: Hate is wrong.

The radical left has been falsely accusing Trump of inciting the Capitol riot for over a year now, and their upcoming televised hearings later this week prove that their main objective is to keep the riot in people’s minds even though Americans have long since moved on. But the Democrats and RINOs on the committee are still hoping they can exploit the riot and get people to blame Trump and the Republicans. In the year the committee has been active, they’ve failed to produce any evidence of Trump’s culpability in the riot, but that’s not stopping them from claiming otherwise. They’ve been clear that they aren’t interested in talking about effective solutions that don’t involve gun-grabbing, so they probably also don’t want to talk about who’s responsible for America’s unsettling crime wave: the left. Meanwhile, as of late Tuesday night, the Associated Press projected that San Francisco voters had handily recalled left-wing District Attorney Chesa Boudin, whose soft-on-crime policies wreaked havoc on the California city.

But the racism epithet has been appropriated almost exclusively by the left and, not surprisingly, left-of-center racism is rarely considered. So, if FDR was a racist, why does he rank so high?
