The Biden team seems to have given up on doing anything about inflation and high gas prices.Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has changed her tune from calling it “transitory” to saying that she expects it to persist for a while.(Tweet/Video) From WSJ: “I do expect inflation to remain high, although I very much hope that it will be coming down now,” Ms. Yellen said, adding that the Biden administration was updating its forecast from March that inflation would average 4.7% this year. In recent months, consumer inflation has trended above 8%. “The numbers aren’t locked in, but it’s likely to be higher” than the initial 4.7% forecast,

"The reality is that there isn't very much more to be done."
Biden Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo
So,
They think they're doing everything they can
to help you, transition out of your car...
to help you, transition out of your freedom...

"there isn’t very much more to be done.”
Wasn't this the exact thing that BO's people said when BO's policies kept us in a slo-mo, quasi recovery for most of BO's 8 years?
Then Trump was elected and the economy ROARED ahead with outstanding results for all (except failed liberal policies). The Narcissist ex president promptly took credit for the recovery and it was one of the few times the media couldn't support BO because of the gross absurdity of his claims. BO was actually laughed at.
Now we are on the flip side with Biden.
Seems pretty clear. Progressives in charge = bad economy FOR ALL. Conservatives in charge = GREAT economy FOR ALL. How many times does this lesson need to be taught?

Seems like I remember NoBama wanting to have high gasoline prices up to $10-15 a gallon back when he was being primed to be President and then the GOP/RINOs put forth John McPain and Mittens Romney....

Biden, Obama and Yellen are riding in the same clown car and their tactics have been obvious from the beginning. If you don't accept the imaginary world that they want you to live in, you will be forced into it. When Barack is exposed as the N-word in the Biden woodpile, he will need to exile himself in that new home in Hawaii so I hope the construction is finished soon, for his sake. A pox on all their houses.

Biden Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo throws in the towel on gas prices, which reached new records in ALL 50 STATES today:
"The reality is that there isn't very much more to be done."
WRONG...
We can remove them from office. I am old enough to remember gasoline shortages and lines at gas stations in the 1970s. When we voters removed Carter from office and replaced him with Reagan, somehow the shortages and lines mysteriously disappeared practically overnight.

Kamala to Joe: "Joe, I finally have it figured out and know how to stop it" Joe: " Where's my pudding I mean what Kammy?" Kamala: "You see Joe they come from shi* holes and here they can get tons of free stuff." Joe: "so where's the spoon in that?" Kamala: "Well Joe if we make the US a bigger shi* hole than where they came from by doing the things they did to turn it to shi*, they'll stop coming."
The Biden team poured gasoline all over the place and flicked lit matches at it until we were engulfed in flames and they sit around brainstorming the cause of burns in an effort to explain them without including gas and matches.

Senator Kennedy, as you are up for re-election this year, are you willing to accept high interest rates and a recession to bring down inflation? Uh, no, not really. No politician is willing to prescribe the medicine necessary to tame inflation. We saw that from 1968 to 1984, Republican or Democrat administrations. The cycle is to hype the economy, celebrate the good times brought by the hype, take credit for some economic expansion record, and hope the balloon doesn't burst until you're gone from office. Even a minor recession becomes the "worst since the Great Depression" as Bush41 found in 1992. That signaled the end of letting things go a little sour until they collapse like housing did in '08. Then we point fingers at agencies that did the administration's bidding.
We ain't seen nothing yet. $30 TRILLION national sovereign debt and growing. We know Biden will do zip. One can expect Congress to continue its profligate deficit spending and "stimulating" the economy, no matter who holds majorities. Pain is no one's political friend. Blaming the other guy is political gold.
