Long-time "Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace announced on Sunday that he would no longer be hosting the weekly show, saying he was leaving to pursue opportunities "beyond politics. "After 18 years — this is my final Fox News Sunday. It is the last time — and I say this with real sadness — we will meet like this," Wallace said at the end of the program. Eighteen years ago, the bosses here at Fox promised me they would never interfere with a guest I booked or a question I asked and they kept that promise.

Had a thought here, either he is going to get the CNN primetime spot vacated by Fredo, or he is going to be the new Press Secretary when Raggedy Ann leaves. She has said in the past she plans to resign after the first year.

He’s going to CNN+, which is guaranteed to be one of the worst decisions in history. No one watches CNN for free, why would they pay for it? They won’t, of course. CNN likely thinks that they’re getting some moderate with gravitas to burnish their image, but all they’re getting is a smug, self-important elitist who will do nothing to change what everyone knows that they are. He deserves this black hole that he signed on to fly into.

Donald trump is a man consumed with grievance against people he believes have betrayed him, but few betrayals have enraged him more than what his attorney general did to him. To Trump, the unkindest cut of all was when William Barr stepped forward and declared that there had been no widespread fraud in the 2020 election, just as the president was trying to overturn Joe Biden’s victory by claiming that the election had been stolen.

Peggy Noonan doesn’t always get it right (no one does) but when she does, liberal heads explode. Case in point, her column this week for the Wall Street Journal. Noonan hits the nail on the head with her brutally honest assessment of Kamala Harris as vice-president. Leftists are in need of a safe space. The purpose of the column is to point out that Kamala is rightly being criticized for her unseriousness and incompetence in office. Americans are worried about that because it is a threat to our country. She is a heartbeat away from being the most powerful politician on earth
