Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley beat Democratic socialist Francesca Hong in a come-from-behind victory during the Wisconsin gubernatorial primary Tuesday night.
Crowley was ahead of the 37-year-old state representative and member of the Democratic Socialists of America 39.8% to 39.4% when the race was called by the Associated Press at 3:34 a.m.
Surveys ahead of the Badger State Democratic contest had consistently showed Hong besting Crowley by double digit percentage points. Crowley had also dropped out of the race weeks before and even endorsed another opponent, before re-entering the contest and receiving the backing of outgoing Gov. Tony Evers

Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed once declared his sacred "obligation" to follow Sharia law in every aspect of his life until he meets his maker on the day he dies, according to unearthed comments he made to the New York Times in 2009 as a young man buying his first home.
"Ultimately, the question is, when I die and I stand before God and go through everything I did in my life, I don't want to say I did it the easy way instead of the Shariah-compliant way. Not because of fear but because of obligation," said El-Sayed,

The relative peace experienced in Ireland over the past three decades may be in jeopardy as descendants of the Irish Republican Army may turn to terrorism to root out migrant populations from the country, security officials have warned.
While “Ireland for the Irish” was once a common refrain amongst advocates against British control of all or part of the island, the phrase appears set to take on a new meaning of opposition to the dispossession of the native population by dint of the mass migration agenda imposed on the country by globalist governments in Dublin.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, security sources in Britain are concerned that a potential

Hopefully this will be a lesson to multiple people, including President Donald Trump. There is no room for softness on the topic of deporting illegal aliens.
In one of the biggest examples of a mistake in Republican campaigning, three weeks before the primary election Minnesota Governor candidate Mike Lindell made the fatal mistake of advocating for greater leniency for illegal aliens, with inferred amnesty in his immigration platform. The backlash was fierce, righteous and directly targeted. Lindell was blasted.
Last night, despite the support and endorsement from President Trump, Lindell was resoundingly defeated by Lisa Demuth, the speaker of the Minnesota House.

Tuesday on MS NOW’s “State of Play,” former CIA Director John Brennan expressed his concern that President Donald Trump would somehow interfere with the midterm elections.
Host Peter Alexander said, “The president has had a hard time getting his SAVE America Act effort through. We’ve heard a lot on this conversation as it relates to voting restrictions. He wants to pass it through Congress. He doesn’t have the votes right now.”
After playing a clip of Trump discussing the midterms, Alexander asked, “Your reaction to that? A lot of fear about what may happen ahead of these midterms.”
Brennan said, “I think we all should be very worried

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt is departing her post at the end of August to spend more time with her family, President Trump announced.
Leavitt, 28, a mother of two and the youngest ever White House press secretary, gave birth to her second child, Viviana, in May and had officially just returned from maternity leave last month.
Trump, 80, hailed her as “one of my most trusted aides.” “Karoline will now be one of my top outside advisors, and an influential voice within the Republican Party, as we work to defy History, and conclusively win the Midterm Elections,” Trump posted on Truth Social.

Just weeks after announcing that it will lose up to $4.5 billion this year making electric cars, Ford unveiled its next plug-in attempt: the Ford Fathom truck.
So it goes with EVs.
No matter how loudly consumers say they don’t want them, those “in the know” keep telling us that the future is electric and that success is just around the corner.
Last month, for example, the mainstream press was giddy over a slight rebound in EV sales in the second quarter compared with the first. As Business Insider put it, “The U.S. EV market comes back from the dead. Thank high gas prices.”

Ward Churchill, the former University of Colorado professor whose writings and outspoken political views ignited a national debate over academic freedom and free speech, has died.
His former lawyer says Churchill died of a stroke.
Iliff School of Theology Professor Emeritus Tink Tinker, a member of the Osage Nation, said Churchill "was part of the American Indian Movement from the early 1980s. All of the people who criticized him never read his body of work. His books get at the truth of what happened and is happening to American Indians on Turtle Island, this continent. It persistently challenges the usual narrative of what I call the American romance."

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers may soon be outfitted with gloves that can deliver painful electric shocks intended to gain compliance from combative individuals.
ICE plans to spend up to $20 million to purchase thousands of “conductive distraction and de-escalation devices” for officers and agents by March, according to a notice published Monday by the Department of Homeland Security.
The devices are known as the G.L.O.V.E., which stands for Generated Low Output Voltage Emitter, and are manufactured by Compliant Technologies LLC of Lexington, Kentucky. They have been used in recent years by some jails and police departments.

Everyone loves fireworks on July 4th. Or well everyone who loves America anyway. That may not include the man from Dearbonistan.
Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed once asked his YouTube viewers whether Americans could “PLEASE” find another way to celebrate the Fourth of July, in a video promising four reasons “why fireworks suck.”
In one episode that remains online, he questioned whether football could be “ethical” or “safe” and linked the sport’s “ethos” to narratives used to justify slavery and westward expansion. In another he floated replacing the Second Amendment’s right to bear arms with a constitutional right to health care.

Britain’s left-wing Burnham government unveiled plans to spread boat migrants, asylum seekers, and refugees across the country because middle-class communities haven’t taken their “fair share” yet.
Planting migrants in working-class areas — because housing there is cheap — has caused “a huge burden on local communities and created real civil unrest”, so the logical next step is to spread that to middle-class areas next, which haven’t yet taken “their fair share”, the British government has communicated. The extraordinary series of public relations flubs began on Monday when Prime Minister Andy Burnham was offered the opportunity to meet with locals from a small village about to be overwhelmed by a migrant camp

Four white clergy members and one white seminarian are running for Congress as Democrats, part of a growing trend of white politicians seeking to court Christian voters while embracing left-wing ideas.
Unlike Democrats of the past, these five candidates represent a party that has shifted drastically, embracing policies ranging from same-sex marriage and unfettered abortion access to feminism and forced diversity. Sarah Trone Garriott, James Talarico, Robb Ryerse, Anna Golladay, and Lindsay James are attempting to blend the language of “faith, freedom, and family” Christians with the increasingly progressive policies of the modern left.
White clergy members running for Congress as Democrats are a rarity. Since the 1970s, only three have been
