The Massachusetts Muslim Protection Racket

There are a lot of ways to describe what this proposed Massachusetts bill is, but I don't think 'diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)' is precisely what I would use, as some other major outlets are. I think it's much too sinister for a thoroughly discredited, despicable concept that's hopefully in its death throes while being relentlessly driven from business, academia, and government at all levels. Most DEI proponents have either gone to ground or given it grudgingly, faced with the overwhelming backlash against the inherent unfairness of something built on a false pretext of that very thing - fairness. Not to mention, amazingly enough, the lucrative cottage industry

FTA: "While the Trump administration spends 2026 tearing down federal diversity, equity, and inclusion offices, the Massachusetts legislature is building a new one sized for exactly one religion. Senate Bill S.2134, “An Act promoting the civil rights and inclusion of American Muslims in the commonwealth,” would create a permanent 11-member commission whose duties include identifying and recommending Muslims for government appointments. The bill has cleared its initial committees and now sits in the Senate Ways and Means Committee."

Putting explosive charges on the foundation of the Constitution. Christians, Jews, even agnostics will be subservient to Islam with that demographic in charge.

In Northern Ireland, there have been recent protests about the numbers of Muslim migrants being allowed to settle in the territory, and about their placement in public housing ahead of the indigenous poor. Now someone in Northern Ireland has chosen to express his fury at this state of affairs by setting alight an effigy of an Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist and his mosque. For thus expressing his view, he has been charged with “incitement to hatred.” And that has caused quite a stir. More on the resulting uproar can be found here. A man has been charged with incitement to hatred over an effigy of a mosque and Isis terrorist

New York Democratic congressman Josh Riley's father-in-law cofounded an institute at a Chinese government-controlled university that routinely boosts the Chinese Communist Party's Belt and Road Initiative, a massive international economic strategy aimed at bringing foreign nations closer to Beijing and further from the United States, a Washington Free Beacon review found. Riley himself attended at least three of the group's events and later voted against legislation targeting Chinese influence peddling in the United States. Riley's father-in-law, Harinder Kohli, is the founding director and

Mayor Zohran Mamdani said he’s desperately seeking a legal loophole to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for alleged war crimes when he visits in NYC in September. The Pro-Palestine, Israel-hating, socialist pol said in an interview published Saturday that it’s unclear whether he has the authority to order the NYPD to arrest Netanyahu during the prime minister’s expected trip to the Big Apple for the U.N. General Assembly – but is in an “active conversation” with the city’s Law Department about the matter. “I believe that Prime Minister Netanyahu belongs in The Hague,” Mamdani bluntly told The New York Times, referring to the United Nation’s International Court of Justice.

Airlines are warning that changes to existing practices around Daylight Saving Time (DST) would have a major impact on the industry and that changes would need to be implemented over time to account for challenges it would create for scheduling. Airlines for America (A4A), a trade group that represents leading air carriers in the U.S., released a statement this week which warned that changes to DST "would have considerable implications for aviation, including passenger disruption, crew and aircraft positioning, and domestic and international connectivity issues." "Airlines operate expansive interconnected domestic and global networks that are reliant on stability and predictability. Any changes would need an implementation timeline that reflects these global
Olive Garden Pasta Is More Secure Than

Olive Garden guards its unlimited pasta with a photo ID that many American voters are never asked to show at the polls. The comparison took off after Olive Garden addressed its Never-Ending Pasta Pass in a July 16 post on X. The chain wrote that the pass belongs only to the customer named on it, cannot be handed to anyone else, and requires a valid photo ID when the holder orders. White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller seized on the rule. “We’ve reached a point in society where access to fettuccine at Olive Garden is vastly more secure than deciding who is Commander-in-Chief of the country,” Miller said

United Airlines is offering free flight changes to customers who don’t want to fly into Florida’s newly renamed airport, honoring President Trump, according to an internal memo. The guidance issued by the airline appears aimed at customers who are offended by the renaming of Palm Beach International Airport to President Donald J. Trump International Airport, and wish to travel to another airport for that reason alone. "If a customer does not want to fly to the airport, use your empowerment to offer acceptable alternatives such as Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL) or Miami International Airport (MIA)," the memo reads. United Airlines denied how the memo was interpreted,

The State Department is considering requiring some green card applicants to hand over thousands of dollars in the Trump administration’s latest bid to ensure new arrivals to the US can support themselves. Some officials have floated making would-be legal permanent residents submit a $100,000 bond if applying at a US consulate overseas, the Wall Street Journal reported Thursday. Others said the deposit amount could fluctuate depending on individual cases.Green card holders would likely be repaid upon becoming US citizens, a process that takes at least five years. “President Trump has made clear that those who wish to immigrate to the United States must be financially self-sufficient,”

Anthony Fauci thinks Biden’s last-minute “autopen” pardon is his golden parachute. But he could be very, very wrong. In reality, that so-called pardon might turn out to be a pair of golden handcuffs instead. Americans have sat back and watched Fauci play a lot of games. He’s dodged, danced, redefined words, split a lot of hairs, and acted like the rest of the country (and the world) was way too stupid to understand what really went down during the COVID circus. He became the face of the “pandemic” response, and according to the media and liberals, he was the patron saint of “trust the science.” Who can forget these absurd candles?

Big Brother has a name, it's Gavin Newsom, and he's coming to inspect the trash of California residents. Starting this month, Sacramento is sending city workers out to peer into residents' garbage, recycling, and organic waste bins, all in the name of complying with a mandate from Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.). The California legislature passed the law behind this intrusion, SB 1383, in 2016, and it took effect in 2022. The stated goal was to cut organic waste disposal by 75% by 2025 to reduce methane emissions and slow climate change. Is it working? Well, that’s the question, isn’t it? That’s why Sacramento apparently decided the best way to find out

Gov. Abigail Spanberger, D-Va., announced that she has restored voting rights to 66,085 Virginians who had prior felony convictions. Virginia’s constitution doesn't allow convicted felons to vote after serving their sentences unless a governor restores their voting rights. “I’m proud that — after contending with my predecessor’s efforts to deny Virginians their fundamental rights — we have restored the rights of more than 66,000 Virginians who have served their time,” Spanberger said in a statement. “These Virginians deserve the right to use their vote, make their voices heard, and be recognized as contributing citizens to our Commonwealth and country.”

Old habits die hard. At least that is the case for our Supreme Court’s Justice Neil Gorsuch, who persists in repeating the erroneous narrative that America was founded as religiously neutral. In a July 24th interview with PBS’ Margaret Hoover, Gorsuch gave his interpretation of the American founding, denying America was founded as a Christian nation: “We were never supposed to be a nation that was about one race or one religion … It was about those ideas [in the Declaration of Independence] … We have a First Amendment, for crying out loud. As the midterms loom, the commentariat is confidently predicting that the Republican House majority is all but doomed. It is of course true that history does not portend a victorious outcome for the GOP. The president’s party almost always loses House seats in midterm elections. The Republicans enjoy a 2-to-1 cash advantage over the Democrats (snip) and the same people who orchestrated President Trump’s historic 2024 victory are managing the party’s midterm strategy.

Something like 80% of Americans oppose allowing men to play in women’s sports leagues. That is, after all, the entire point of having women’s divisions and leagues–women play against other women, not against men. For a sports organization like the Women’s National Basketball Association to come out in favor of allowing men (“trans women”) to play in their league is the height of perversity. If men could play in the WNBA, there soon would be no women left and no purpose to the league. And yet, multiple WNBA coaches and others associated with the league have come out in favor of letting men play. I can think of no reason
