The WNBA has suspended Seattle Storm co-owner Celeste Keaton from attending the team's next five home games after her exchange with two fans during Tuesday's matchup with the Indiana Fever, the league confirmed Thursday.
According to multiple reports, Keaton had admonished a pair of fans who brought signs into Climate Pledge Arena supporting Fever guard Sophie Cunningham following her recent comments about transgender athletes. The fans told unDividedPod.com that Keaton directed expletives at them for a sign that thanked Cunningham "for speaking up for girls."
Along with the suspension, Keaton was fined an undisclosed amount, the league said.
Two Florida death row inmates are scheduled to be executed hours apart on Tuesday, which would mark the first time in more than six decades the state puts to death multiple people within a single day, as state officials continue to ramp up executions.

Looking back at my law school education at the time of my graduation, I thought I had learned the answer to most difficult legal questions: It depends. I think that answer may apply to the question of whether calling someone the “n” word is protected speech under the First Amendment.

On Saturday, Troy Jackson was officially picked as the replacement for Graham Platner to be the Democrat candidate for the Senate from Maine.
As we reported, this was the likely result after the other main candidates dropped out and endorsed Jackson about a week ago. This was after it became clear that he had about two-thirds of the Democratic delegates who would be voting on a replacement. What was pretty humorous is a guy who's been in state politics for 25 years trying to paint himself as some kind of "outsider" or change agent. He also just lost another race for governor.
The socialists are feeling their oats right now.
They think they are on the rise in the face of a weak Democratic Party that seems largely okay with being eaten alive, and already has been largely taken over by radicals.
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani — the guy with the perpetual smirk — is one piece of evidence of this trend. He apparently thought he could dictate foreign policy and get Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrested. Then when he found out he doesn't have that kind of power, he had to resort to encouraging leftists to protest.

Jessica Tarlov set out to catch her conservative colleagues in a supposed contradiction on socialism. She walked out of the segment looking like a fool in the process.
Tarlov opened by accusing Greg Gutfeld and Jesse Watters of hypocrisy over the Trump administration's equity stakes in companies such as U.S. Steel and Intel, arguing that conservatives have been throwing around the word "socialist" for years without meaning it.

One of the things that is perplexing and often a topic of conversation is this new American-Western European alliance or absorption of Islam and Marxism-socialism-communism. With the rise of the Mamdani-style communists has come a widespread narrative that the sudden rise of more openly radical politicians means the Democrats of the last few years or decades are somehow moderate. Depending on who’s telling the story, it’s a harrowing tale about Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries trying to stave off the DSA Marxists; or the “far left” floundering because it doesn’t have its own Fox News; or the party needing a storybook journey home to the moderation of Joe Biden and Barack Obama.
These are all tall tales, of course. Schumer and Jeffries are engaged in a power struggle, but it’s an intramural contest among fellow radicals.
