Far-Left ‘Guardian’ Mocks Obama Library

Even the left-wing Guardian is laughing out loud at Barry Obama’s ugly-a** monument to himself. “‘Like a Klingon prison’: inside Barack Obama’s audacious, near-windowless, $850m presidential library,” reads the headline, and the mockery doesn’t stop there. We’re about two weeks away from this Chicago-based monstrosity opening to the public, and the Guardian, which I’m sure the Obama folks expected to be friendly, was not terribly impressed. Here are some highlights from their coverage: “He might have seemed humble in office, but in his post-presidential, Netflix-producing afterlife, Obama has erected the largest, costliest and most audacious complex of them all,” the report explains. “Behold the $850m Obamalisk – or,

I have not met one local who like's this thing. Please pray for Illinois...We have the WORST Governor in Fred Flintstone, he has never met a tax he won't impose. This billionaire who purchased the state, and the Moron Mayor of Chicago, have destroyed everything we loved about our home state. I'm not in a position to move elsewhere. Like California, we are fed up with stink of liberal policies and incompetent management. We have a chance in the next election to change things it's going to be an uphill climb. As the vote-count totals crawl across Los Angeles and California, The California Post visited the county’s 144,000-square-foot ballot processing facility Thursday, which showed dozens of empty work stations. The scene at the warehouse appeared at odds with the mounting pressure to process hundreds of thousands of remaining ballots. County officials announced Wednesday night that just 77,521 additional ballots had been processed since June 2 election night, but an estimated 713,180 ballots are still outstanding. Yet during The Post’s visit, large sections of the facility appeared lightly staffed. Rows of workstations sat empty.

Insufferable NeverTrumper John Bolton has worked out a plea deal and will plead guilty to a single count of “illegal retention of sensitive national security documents,” reports far-left CNN. Bolton was originally charged with “eight counts of transmission of national defense information and 10 counts of retention of national defense information.” A conviction on any of those counts would’ve meant serious jail time. On this one count, although the penalty is up to five years in prison, the deal apparently comes with Bolton agreeing to plead guilty and pay a fine of $2.25 million without jail time. However, a judge could still sentence the 77-year-old to prison regardless of the plea agreement.

The House approved a war powers resolution Wednesday that would halt the US military action against Iran, defying President Donald Trump as a handful of Republicans joined with Democrats to end the three-month-long war that has reordered politics at home and abroad. Mom’s not the word. New York state Democrats passed a bill to erase words like “mother” and “father” from Family Court Law — in the latest gender-neutral rewriting in the state’s official records. “Mother” would be replaced with “gestating parent” while “father” becomes “non-gestating parent” and “paternity” proceedings would become “parentage” proceedings under the woke bill that was rammed through both houses of the state legislature this week. A “putative father” in paternity proceedings would now be defined as “an alleged parent” under the bill, which was sponsored by liberals Sen. Americans saving for retirement often follow the “buy and hold” strategy, urging them to block out the daily volatility of markets, stick to long-term investment plans, and avoid playing stockbroker. The stock market’s growth over the last 15-20 years proves why that approach makes sense despite financial crises, geopolitical conflict, and fiscal showdowns. However, laws on the books in most states, if not properly reformed, could jeopardize the retirement nest eggs of those who saved and invested in a responsible manner. What very few Americans know is that their state government may have the legal right to undermine the “buy and hold” approach to saving. If you do not engage with

A Catholic priest who spent nearly two decades casting out demons in the nation’s capital lost his post this week after he told followers that UFOs might be the devil in disguise. Cardinal Robert McElroy stripped Monsignor Stephen Rossetti of his role as an exorcist for the Archdiocese of Washington on June 3, the archdiocese announced. It also severed every tie with Rossetti’s St. Michael Center for Spiritual Renewal, a Washington nonprofit he led. Rossetti is a priest of the Diocese of Syracuse, New York. He had held the exorcist post for 19 years, EWTN reported.
