New York City continues its tragic decline under the failed stewardship of buffoonish Mayor Zohran Mamdani, as spotlighted by a disturbing video showing three out-of-shape NYPD officers failing to restrain a subway thug.
The incident, which occurred on a subway platform in the Bronx, underscores how Mamdani‘s embrace of anti-meritocratic DEI hiring practices has eroded public safety and emboldened criminals.
The video, which was originally posted on Instagram, was reposted on X on Monday.
“Three NYPD officers are unable to take down one thug at the Tremont Avenue subway stop in NYC,” an X user observed.

The president previously called Jeffries a "low IQ person" on Tuesday and said he was always ranting about the war in Iran. MS NOW's Lawrence O'Donnell asked the House Minority Leader to respond to the president's comments.
"Well, it’s an extraordinary insult, but he continues to repeat it. And what’s so ironic is that Donald Trump is clearly the dumbest person ever to sit at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue," Jeffries said.
Jeffries said Trump and Republicans have failed America. "But most importantly, Lawrence, this guy and Republicans have completely and totally failed America. They failed on the economy, failed on healthcare, failed on immigration enforcement," he said.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Tuesday that Iran and the United States should reach an agreement similar to former President Barack Obama’s 2015 nuclear deal in order to make peace.
“If the current efforts of the Iranian and American negotiators, which we support, result in something like the 2015 agreement, I think it would be a great success,” Lavrov said at a press conference after meeting with Taher al-Baour, the acting foreign minister of one of Libya’s two governments. Libya was torn in half and became infested with terrorists and warlords after Obama attacked the country in 2011 to change its regime.

Far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar blew up at a reporter this week for asking questions about accounting “discrepancies” the Democrat blamed for overstating her net worth by millions of dollars on financial disclosure forms.
In May last year, Omar (D-Minn.) claimed she and her husband, Tim Mynett, held assets worth between $6 million and $30 million. However, an amended filing reported by the Wall Street Journal last week put the couple’s wealth at between $18,004 and $95,000.
The lawmaker claimed the initial filing was riddled with accounting errors.

As he stood center stage in Newark Monday night, Bruce Springsteen was a familiar portrait of rock-god pomp and fervor.
Fans roared with adoration as the resolute Boss opened his Prudential Center concert with the same preamble he’s given each night on his new tour: “The America I love, the America that I’ve written about for 50 years that has been a beacon of hope and liberty around the world is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent, racist, reckless and treasonous administration,” he said.
“Tonight we ask all of you to join with us in choosing hope over fear, democracy over authoritarianism, the rule of law over lawlessness,

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) for decades has lectured America about the ever-present threat of “hate” groups while raking in hundreds of millions from donors fearful of these organizations.
But on Tuesday, the Trump DOJ dropped a bombshell: an 11-count federal indictment charging the SPLC with wire fraud, bank fraud, and money laundering for secretly funneling more than $3 million in donor cash to actual extremists.
Among those nefarious payments was a staggering $270,000 allegedly paid to a member of the online leadership chat group that planned the 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville.

Pope Leo XIV on Friday urged young Africans against migrating to the West.
Speaking to students and faculty at the Catholic University of Central Africa in Yaounde, Cameroon, the pontiff urged younger generations to stay and build their own countries rather than seeking opportunities elsewhere.
“In the face of the understandable tendency to migrate, which may lead one to believe that elsewhere a better future may be more easily found, I invite you to respond with an ardent desire to serve your country and to apply the knowledge you are acquiring here to the benefit of your fellow citizens,” he said.

ATLANTA — U.S. Rep. David Scott, a Georgia Democrat and the first Black chairman of the House Agriculture Committee, has died. He was 80. Scott, who was seeking his 13th term in Congress despite challenges from within his party, was once a leading voice for Democrats on issues related to farm aid policy and food aid for consumers and a prominent Black member of the party’s moderate Blue Dog caucus. But he faced criticism and concerns in recent years because of declining health, enduring a primary challenge in 2024 and facing another one at the time of his death. Democrats

A circuit court in Virginia just ruled that the newly passed but incredibly biased gerrymandered congressional map is unconstitutional.
Former Virginia attorney general and Homeland Security official Ken Cuccinelli II posted on X Wednesday about the gerrymandered map, "UPDATE on referendum lawsuits: The Tazewell Circuit Court just ruled the referendum unconstitutional. The Judge entered an injunction blocking certification of the election & denied a motion to stay pending appeal. A final order will be entered once drafted, & it will be immediately appealed." The new map would almost certainly hand ten out of eleven congressional districts to Democrat control. This would impact not only Virginia, therefore, but the Republican-Democrat balance

RENTON, Wash. — Federal authorities have taken custody of a batch of election mail found near a Renton dumpster as officials investigate how what are alleged to be hundreds of ballots from past elections were left unclaimed.
The discovery surfaced last week after Washington State Republican Party Chairman and state Rep. Jim Walsh posted a video on social media showing a box of outbound, unvoted ballots he said had been found near a strip mall dumpster.

The world will celebrate Earth Day on Wednesday. It will be, as it always has been, a festival of nonsense that has more downside than it does benefits.
The first Earth Day was held on April 22, 1970, the 100th birthday of communist revolutionary Vladimir Lenin. Probably just a coincidence, but “given that most of the modern environmentalist movement grew out of the far left student movement of the 1960s,” it is, as a Competitive Enterprise Institute scholar once said, “all too fitting.”
“Most environmental economists of the time believed that only socialist countries would ably protect the environment, because

An O'Keefe Media undercover investigation has unmasked a chief of chemical nuclear surety for the U.S. government spilling sensitive information and military tactics to a complete stranger. The undercover reporter the chief was speaking with filmed the entire exchange. The 14-minute video is embedded below. O'Keefe summarized the exchange in an X post. He wrote: Hugg also revealed that the airstrikes conducted under Operation Epic Fury had killed children in Iran. O'Keefe further stated that Hugg leaked intelligence surrounding plans in the works to take out Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.
