Iran threatened to attack any US Navy ships that enter the Strait of Hormuz shortly after American vessels moved through the channel for the first time since the war broke out.
Tehran warned Pakistani mediators that “if the vessel continues to move, it will be targeted within 30 minutes, and the Iranian-American negotiations will suffer,” a Foreign Ministry spokesperson told Khabar Network, according to Fars News Agency.
The warning comes just after reports broke that “multiple” US vessels had crossed the strait for the first time in months in a move that “was not coordinated with Iran.”

Several months ago, I was asked to assist with what was called a “firehose of crazy.” I don’t ordinarily pay attention to the goofy stuff, and I didn’t look at most of the citations being referenced. That said and with recent events in view, I have a new appreciation for what that meant.
When President Trump responded to the goofball diatribe of Alex Jones, what he apparently was referencing was a segment Jones put out on his podcast when he first requested the administration to intervene and use the 25th amendment to remove Trump. Mr. Jones followed that call for the 25th amendment, by saying he wanted administration

Secretary of State Marco Rubio has yanked the green cards of three more Iranian nationals tied to Tehran who were living it up in the US – a week after the arrest of the niece and grandniece of the late Iranian mastermind, Gen. Qasem Soleimani.
ICE agents arrested Seyed Eissa Hashemi, Maryam Tahmasebi and their son for removal this week, citing their connections to a notorious figure from the Iran hostage crisis, the State Department announced Saturday.
Eissa Hashemi, 43, is the son of Masoumeh Ebtekar, known as “Screaming Mary” for her role as the mouthpiece for militants who stormed the US Embassy in Tehran in 1979.

Some of you may not realize it, but the great state of Florida just became the first in the nation to axe the multilingual madness.
In a recent move, Florida went full English-only on its driver’s license exams. If you can’t read and write in English, you won’t be driving in the state of Florida.
It’s about time.
Liz Churchill:
FLORIDA JUST WENT FULL ENGLISH ONLY
Driver’s license exams will be in ENGLISH ONLY. Florida is the first state to ax the multilingual madness.
NO MORE handing out licenses to invaders who can’t read a single road sign.

A former staffer of Rep. Eric Swalwell, a leading Democratic candidate for California governor, says that the congressman raped her when she was heavily intoxicated and left her bruised and bleeding, an allegation Swalwell strongly denies. (Snip) Three other women who spoke with CNN also alleged various kinds of sexual misconduct by the Democratic congressman – including Swalwell sending them unsolicited explicit messages or nude photos. One woman who connected online with Swalwell over her interest in Democratic politics says she ended up extremely drunk inside his hotel room after a night out with the congressman, with little memory of what

The DOJ's Civil Rights Division has opened a criminal investigation into Cassidy Hutchinson, the former White House staffer whose 2022 testimony before the January 6 Select Committee became one of the most explosive moments of that entire political spectacle, becoming the left's favorite weapon against Donald Trump. The probe focuses on whether Hutchinson committed perjury during her televised June 2022 hearing.
You may remember the hearing and the ridiculous story she told, under oath, in front of millions of viewers.

Among the many genius effects of Trump is that his crazy-man approach to dealing with our enemies only makes our enemies more insane and intransigent than before. I refer, of course, to the Democratic Party (and the mainstream media, but I repeat myself). It is a remarkable thing that Iran appears (at this writing—this could change before these pixels are dry) to be more reasonable than Democrats when it comes to Trump. I hope he keeps his laser-pointer fully-charged and holstered.

Fifty-five years after Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals landed on shelves in 1971, I am applying to it the only framework that matters: a performance audit. The question is not whether Alinsky's thirteen tactics are morally defensible. The question is whether they worked for the constituencies they claimed to champion. The answer is no — and the data are not subtle. This is not merely a conservative grievance. It is a portfolio performance review. And the returns are dismal.

Latin America remains one of the most Christian regions on earth. More than 620 million people in Latin America identified as Christian in 2025.
For decades, ordinary families across South America battled volatile economies, hyperinflation, and brutal drug wars. You have likely watched these nations struggle to secure basic needs while their governments chased conflicting priorities. Cartel violence in places like Colombia and staggering debt crises in Argentina created cycles of deep despair. Now, these communities are finally witnessing their countries embrace booming oil and gas economic growth. Open minds and proactive policies rooted in energy realism are driving this change.

Hunter Biden has reportedly fled the US and is $17 million in debt.
Why doesn’t Hunter Biden just sell a few pieces of his highly coveted art? Don’t each one of Hunter Biden’s art pieces cost more than a Degas?
It is unclear where Hunter Biden is currently residing; however, last March, he was spotted out and about with his wife in South Africa.
Hunter’s wife, Melissa Cohen, is from South Africa. Last year, Laura Loomer obtained photos of Hunter Biden, his second wife, Melissa Cohen, and their toddler son, Beau, on a lavish vacation in Cape Town, South Africa, with US Secret Service agents in tow.

Monday is the last day for Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger to veto legislation passed by the General Assembly this session, or else those bills will become law with or without her signature. The Democrat governor has already signed several gun control bills, including a measure designed to make it easier to sue gun makers, distributors, and sellers over the criminal misuse of firearms. So far though, there's been no word from the governor's office about what is arguably the biggest anti-2A bill passed this session: a ban on the sale, manufacture, and transfer of so-called assault firearms and "large capacity" magazines;

Embattled Rep. Eric Swalwell on Friday night issued a full-throated denial of sexual misconduct and rape allegations leveled against him, calling them “absolutely false” while issuing an apology to his wife.
“These allegations of sexual assault are flat false,” the Democratic candidate for California governor said in a more than minute-long video on social media. “They are absolutely false. They did not happen. They have never happened. And I will fight them with everything I have.”
Swalwell was forced to swat down scathing allegations of sexual misconduct brought by four women this week — including a former staffer who claims he raped her in 2024.

Iran flexed its leverage in the Strait of Hormuz this week, forcing President Trump to lean on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to scale back deadly strikes in Lebanon ahead of ceasefire negotiations planned in Pakistan this weekend.
However, Israeli attacks on Lebanon continued into Friday, and there’s still almost no shipping traffic passing through the Strait of Hormuz — raising major doubts about the ceasefire as Vice President Vance heads to Islamabad. Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, the Speaker of Iran’s Parliament, who will lead Tehran in the talks, said Friday there will be no negotiations without a ceasefire in Lebanon and a release of blocked Iranian assets.

As is so often the case, the greatest threat to any institution comes from within. Currently, a Groyper movement—that is, a movement built on mindless isolationism, hardcore antisemitism, coy pro-Naziism and Islamism, huge pockets of misogyny, and a barely hidden dislike for America—is trying to co-opt MAGA and the Republican Party. Its leaders are podcast hosts Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones, all of whom once claimed to be straight-talking conservatives. Now, they just engage in crazy talk.

new American Energy Institute report shows that foreign billionaires have provided funding upwards of $39 million to the anti-AI data center movement in the United States, with experts saying AI infrastructure must be advanced in order to assert American tech dominance over communist China.
Founder, CEO and Chairman of State Armor as well as expert on Chinese influence in America Michael Lucci told The Center Square: “Either the United States or communist China will dominate artificial intelligence, and therefore, likely dominate the leading technologies of the 21st-century.”
“China is actively executing strategies to win this competition,” Lucci said.

Gov. Greg Abbott on Thursday participated in groundbreaking ceremonies highlighting Texas’ energy expansion in both oil and gas and semiconductor manufacturing.
In Port Arthur, Abbott joined Entergy Corporation CEO Drew Marsh and Entergy Texas President and CEO Eli Viamontes and others at a groundbreaking ceremony for Entergy Legend and Lone Star power stations.
The new power stations will expand Texas’ energy capacity by adding 1,200 MW of power to supply electricity to more than 300,000 homes.
In 2023, Abbott broke ground with Marsh and Viamontes at its Orange County Advanced Power Station, a combined-cycle power plant, built near Bridge City next to Entergy Texas’ Sabine Power Plant, The Center Square reported.

Virginia Democrats are swooning over the prospect of wiping out congressional representation for the overwhelming majority of Republicans in the state if voters pass their April 21 gerrymandering referendum. As I wrote here at The Federalist, that ballot question drips with contempt for rural voters as well as the “democracy” Democrats pretend to care about.
How did things change so fast? What’s behind Democrats’ cockiness to behave with impunity like Soviet apparatchiks? Normal Americans are still scratching their heads over the outcome of Virginia’s 2025 election that handed over the governorship and a massive statehouse majority to the Democrats.

California Congressman Eric Swalwell is one of the most reprehensible people in public life. After years of ignominy in Washington, he is running for Governor of California. At least he was until today: his campaign may be over.
Apart from the fact that he is a terrible human being and a far-left fanatic, Swalwell has a problem with women. Numerous women have now accused him of sexual harassment or worse. Of course, they could all be making it up. But California’s Democrats aren’t betting that way.
Thus: As a Democrat, when you lose the teachers’ union, you have lost. But there is much more:
