President Donald Trump’s tariffs on imported goods suffered a Supreme Court legal rebuke in late February, but they’re not doing much better in the court of public opinion. As the latest I&I/TIPP shows, a plurality of voters don’t believe the economy will get a boost from tariffs, which win strong majority support only from Republicans.
It was once the case that most conservatives and many moderates rejected tariffs on imported goods as an unwanted distortion of free trade. Meanwhile, liberals embraced tariffs as a welcome tool of government “industrial policy.”
But President Trump has flipped the script.

The Church of England installed a woman as its leader for the first time.
Sarah Mullally is now the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury, the first woman to hold that position. The Church of England was founded in 1534, but the installation ceremony in Canterbury dates back more than 1,400 years.
In addition to serving as senior bishop and the symbolic leader of the Church of England, Archbishop Mullally also becomes the most prominent figure in the worldwide Anglican Communion, which includes Episcopalians in the U.S.

ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel was called out for mocking newly confirmed Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Markwayne Mullin as an "unqualified" plumber during his monologue Tuesday night. "Trump's got a whole new generation of thinkers lined up, including his newly confirmed secretary of Homeland Security, Markwayne ‘Chuck Mike Bruce Dave’ Melon — Mullin. Maybe melon's better," Kimmel said. "He's the now former senator of Oklahoma. Before he was elected to the Senate, Markwayne Mullin was a low-level MMA fighter and a plumber. That's right. We have a plumber protecting us from terrorism now. It worked for Super Mario.

U.S. intelligence intercepted Ukrainian government communications discussing a plot to route hundreds of millions of American tax dollars earmarked for clean energy in the war-torn country and move them to the United States to enrich then-President Joe Biden’s 2024 re-election campaign and the Democratic National Committee, according to a declassified intelligence report summarizing the intercepts that was obtained by Just the News.
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard recently learned of the intercepts and has asked the U.S. Agency for International Development officials to scour for records to see if the plot actually was carried out and whether a criminal referral should be made to the FBI.

William Shakespeake's birthplace will be de-colonised over fears that portraying his success as the "greatest" playwright "benefits the ideology of white European supremacy." Shakespeare's Birthplace Trust owns buildings in the playwright's hometown of Stratford-on-Avon. Iran is ramping up its threats as negotiations to end the war appear to be faltering and a U.S. ground operation becomes more likely.
Iranian state media outlet Tasnim News Agency, citing a "military source," indicated that Tehran was prepared to close the Bab al Mandeb, a critical waterway linking the Red Sea to the Arabian Sea, in the event of a U.S. ground op.
“If the enemy wants to take action on land in the Iranian islands or anywhere else in our lands or to inflict costs on Iran with naval movements in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman,

The Southern District of Florida (“SDFL”) federal grand jury has just issued criminal subpoenas to major players like former FBI Director James Comey and CIA Director John Brennan. This action is no fishing expedition but rather the telltale sign that a massive RICO criminal enterprise is finally being cracked open, which I’ve suggested earlier would happen given the Clinton crime family and Seth Rich’s unsolved murder. Two thousand years ago, Jesus walked into the Temple and saw money changers and merchants turning a house of worship into a profit racket. He flipped tables, scattered coins, and exposed the corruption. The Pharisees and Sadducees panicked and plotted his death.

It has been a few days since an Illinois Democrat has pulled a cheap political stunt that essentially mocks the murder last week of 18-year-old college student Sheridan Gorman, allegedly at the hands of an illegal alien, so Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson decided to step up and fill the void.
In an unbelievably cruel and tone-deaf maneuver, Johnson on Wednesday held a big press conference to gleefully unveil a new city snowplow that will be clearing city streets while bearing a sign reading, "Abolish ICE," which is apparently the winning entry of a plow-naming contest.
"This name derives from our city’s legacy of standing up for justice, dignity,

This is a huge win for President Trump and the American people. All those activist judges just got a good ol’ fashioned spanking by a higher court(snip). This fight was about whether ICE can keep illegals detained while deportation proceedings are underway or whether lower-court judges can keep stepping in to give them bond hearings and release them back into the country.Judges in Minnesota have been siding with the illegals,

Meta failed to protect kids from sexual predators and misled users about its platforms’ safety, violating New Mexico law, a jury found Tuesday in a landmark case.
The tech giant was ordered to pay $375 million in civil penalties.
The verdict came after six weeks of testimony from witnesses that included ex-Meta executives, teachers and online safety experts.
New Mexico prosecutors argued that Meta hid the extent of safety issues that kids faced on Facebook and Instagram and failed to enforce its claimed minimum age limit of 13 – even as its algorithms allegedly made it easier for creeps to target kids for online harassment and even sex trafficking.

In another devastating blow to the Democrats’ endless claims that there’s no election fraud, a Minnesota election judge has now pleaded guilty to a felony for deliberately allowing unregistered voters to cast ballots on Election Day.
Timothy Michael Scouton, 65, of Nevis, Minnesota, the head election judge in rural Badoura Township, Hubbard County, admitted in court on Monday that he allowed 11 unregistered individuals to vote without meeting the most basic legal requirements.
Scouton was responsible for ensuring that all voting procedures complied with Minnesota law.

Maryland Del. Kathy Szeliga, R-Baltimore County, is calling out Maryland Democrats for backing a bill that would stock tampons in men’s bathrooms in state-owned buildings — an idea she says is emblematic of Annapolis’ misplaced priorities. Szeliga said that after she was made aware of HB 941, she took to the House floor to question which public buildings would be impacted. In particular, she wanted to know if the state's professional sports facilities, such as where the Ravens and Orioles play, would be impacted. During her remarks, the GOP Maryland lawmaker also questioned language in the bill ordering "appropriately sized tampons"
